WE LOVE SHADY OAKS! We had our wedding on Feb 23, 2019. Lynne, our wedding coordinator was fantastic. She was with us every step of the way, and made the planning so easy for us. The grounds are beautiful with a choice of a white chapel or an outdoor open air, but covered "cathedral" (this is what we chose). They have a variety of inclusive packages for different budgets. The decorations were beautiful and perfect. The food was delicious. I could keep going on and on.

It was a beautiful wedding and great pricing for all that's offered. Lynne was very helpful in keeping me calm and organizing all the details for the wedding.

Saturday April 2, 2016 was the best day of my life! I will never be able to thank Lynn and the staff at Shady Oaks enough for making this such a memorable day. But even before our big day Lynn made the planning experience seamless and worry free. I would have a wedding every day if it meant I could plan it at Shady Oaks. We could not have picked a better place to say "I do".

Shady Oaks was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding,
and Lynne, our coordinator from Contemporary Party Connections (CPC),
made it all happen in less than six weeks. We had just started
planning an April 2016 wedding when we had need to move up the wedding date to early November 2015. We had already contacted a dozen venues, including
Shady Oaks, and were thrilled/relieved that they had a date that
would work for us. Lynne had affordable packages that combined
exactly what we needed (for us, ceremony and reception with cake,
punch and light appetizers), DJ, and referred us to great vendors for the few things she didn't handle directly.
We loved that Shady Oaks had a place for both outdoor and indoor ceremonies.
Our daughter chose the outdoor covered Cathedral and even in light
rain, it was just right. The reception hall was beautifully decorated
(Lynne has loads of options to choose from). The DJ, Paul, helped our
daughter and son in law pick great music for their country/rustic
wedding ceremony and kept the guests dancing during the reception.
Lynne walked us through all the steps we needed to take/decisions
that needed to be made. There were no surprises - nothing forgotten;
no unexpected expenses. The wedding and reception flowed smoothly and
we've received so many comments from family and other guests on what
a lovely event it was. I had read the good reviews before contacting
Shady Oaks and they were right on target. Our daughter said it was outstanding.
From her, that is high praise indeed!

First of all Lynn is amazing and the most lovely person. Lynn made everything so easy and beautiful. The venue is gorgeous and very well priced for what you get. I would recommend them to anyone. If you want a beautiful easy wedding you need Shady Oaks.

Lynne treated us like family! She made my daughter's day such a stress free, beautiful experience!! We would not change a thing!

I absolutely LOVED having our wedding at Shady Oaks. It was the best choice we could have made! Lynne was so helpful and kind throughout the entire process. Their location is absolutely beautiful! The chapel is gorgeous and the reception hall is so fun. They are willing to work with you and they help you with literally everything you need to get done! Lynne is so creative and has a vision for it all - she made my day beautiful, we are so blessed to have had her as our coordinator! They provide so much support to everyone, and they help you make your wedding look like you! Definitely recommend this place for a wedding!

We had a really good experience with planning our ceremony only here at Shady Oaks. Lynne helped us every step of the way. I never had a problem with getting responses from her. She completely understood our anxiousness and nervousness about our wedding. Our chapel was beautiful and she worked alongside us to make sure my vision was a reality.

We just had our wedding on 12/13/14, and I couldn't be happier with Shady Oaks!! Lynne and Nancy were always available and SO pleasant to work with. They went above and beyond to give me advice on how to make our wedding day perfect.

Our day itself was amazing. We had the ceremony in the Gazebo. My guests have been raving about the beauty of the ceremony, my horse drawn carriage entrance, and how easy everything flowed!

Our reception was so much fun. The room looked gorgeous!! Warm and festive. Our DJ was Paul, who was great at reading the crowd and adjusting the playlist to keep them dancing. Our cake was exactly how I pictured. And SO delicious!!! Our BBQ dinner was highly praised. The whole night went off without any problems. I definitely think that was due to Lynne and her great attitude and experience with keeping things moving!

I would highly, highly recommend Shady Oaks and the amazing professionals for your wedding!

Our wedding day was such a perfect day. Mrs. Lynn and everyone at Shady Oaks was Amazing!!!

Lynne at Shady Oaks was truly amazing. She answered all of our many questions leading up to our big day. And Nancy, even though not our personal coordinator, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We really enjoyed the planning process with both ladies. On our big day, they delivered our dream to us under the BEAUTIFUL outdoor cathedral. We saw our vision come alive right before our very eyes and we know it was a lot of hard work. We got to enjoy becoming husband and wife and spending time with all of our guests, as they handled the stress of all the details... and even a few hiccups out of anyone's control, that could have made us on edge. Lynne and the staff were very professional and jumped right into action on how to solve any mishap all while keeping us calm. It all worked out beautifully, just like a fairy-tale. We are very thankful for them and their staff!! All of our guests raved about how wonderful everything looked and what a fun time they had. Thank you so much Lynne and Nancy for not only making our dream wedding a reality, but for being such wonderful people and making the planning process a breeze!

The chapel at Shady Oaks was the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony. We wanted a simple, small, stress-free day and we got it! The chapel is absolutely adorable and the Shady Oaks property is very beautiful. Nancy, the wedding planner, is such a sweet lady. It's clear that she genuinely cares for each her brides and makes the extra effort to make sure all goes as planned... and that your big day is what YOU want it to be. It was the perfect place for us :)

Just got engaged??? This place is perfect! I had the chapel wedding and Nancy made the touches to make it perfect. A short little stroll through the garden to the reception hall. It was decorated exactly how I wanted. I also had a candy bar that Nancy set up so cute. The DJ kept things going and was great to work with. If you are looking for a place to do it all in one spot, I highly recommend you check out Shady Oaks! I got lots of compliments after.

After visiting several venues, we knew right away that Shady Oaks was the perfect place for our kids wedding. Beautiful grounds that feel like a quiet country garden, but the multiple choice of outdoor cathedral, quaint white chapel, and reception hall with large patio made it perfect. Our wedding was outside in the cathedral, but the bride and groom never had to stress about the weather because regardless of rain, they could choose a beautiful indoor or outdoor choice up to the last day. Lynne was our coordinator and treated our wedding planning as if it were her own children's. The attention to detail was over and above what I had ever experienced. Great food, great vendors referred for floral and photography, cake, DJ, and catering. And all of them were awesome! One of the best days in our families lives for sure!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Shady Oaks! Our wedding package included the wedding cake, onsite catering, DJ, decorated reception hall, and wedding coordinator. Nancy was our coordinator and she did a fabulous job! She was extremely professional, flexible, and easy to work with. For any items not included within the package, she was able to provide excellent recommendations such as our minister, Rev. Law, whom everyone loved. She genuinely cared about us and did everything she could to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams.

Our first dance was a choreographed Viennese Waltz, and Nancy was more than happy to let us come in during off hours to practice in the reception hall. She was always willing to stay late so that we could meet in the evenings after work. On the day of the wedding, she is with you from the moment you arrive until the last guest has left to ensure that your wedding goes according to plan and that you have a stress free day.

Shady Oaks was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. Our guests loved the quaint white chapel and the beautifully decorated reception hall that was just a short walk away. We didn’t have any issues with parking, as there was ample space provided for all of our guests. The food and catering service were excellent, and our guests really enjoyed the wonderful cake provided by Lindy’s! Our DJ, Paul, was fantastic, entertaining the crowd and keeping the party moving.

We wanted an extra special touch, so Nancy recommended a horse and carriage entrance, which chauffeured the bride and her father from the bridal room to the chapel for a grand entrance.

If you’re looking for a budget friendly wedding, you should definitely check out Shady Oaks. The prices are excellent for anyone looking to keep their costs down while still experiencing a fantastic wedding!

I got married on July 21, 2012 and Shady Oaks was the best place to use. Nancy was my wedding coordinator and she was amazing! I can honeslty say I had my dream wedding. Everything was beautiful and all of our guest had a great time. Guests are still calling my parents telling them how nice and elegant everything was. Thank you Shady Oaks, Nancy, Lynn, and everyone else who made my wedding a dream come true.

Shady Oaks is great if you want a budget-friendly, country, quaint, beautiful wedding. I loved the venue and that they offered a cake and punch package(great way to cut costs). All of my friends loved the cute white chapel and the grounds are gorgeous. The space is great-I loved the head table and the designated dance floor in the center of the reception hall.

My mom and I brought it tons of our own DIY decor and Nancy did a great job catching our vision and executing it. I was really impressed with their flexibility and willingness to work with what I wanted.

Nancy was an excellent coordinator, she always responded to every e-mail and provided great information and ideas.

A great place to get married-I would recommend it to any bride looking for a pinterest-worthy wedding : )

I am so glad I chose Shady Oaks for my wedding! It is a beautiful place with a country setting. My wedding was in the chapel and it was gorgeous. Lynn V. was my coordinator and she was AWESOME!! If it wasn't for her, I couldn't have done it. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter's wedding was absolutely beautiful! We were so pleased with the venue and Nancy was very easy to work with. The wedding was held in the Outdoor Cathedral and it couldn't have been lovelier! The grounds are well maintained, and the reception building has a nice layout. Everything is clean and tastefully decorated. We had 125 guests, and there was plenty of room to mingle, dance, etc.

The food was delicious, and the DJ did a great job at keeping the party going. Nancy is very organized, and she makes sure that everything you had planned occurs and at the appropriate time. Because she has a lot of experience, she anticipates things that may occur, and develops a plan with you so that there are no surprises on the day of the event. Planning, tasting and DJ meetings are designed to help you think about the details of the event - what you want and how they can make it happen.

We were the first to use the new "brides room" and it was very spacious. The bride, 5 attendants, flower girl (& her mom) and I had plenty of room to dress and relax before the wedding.

At the end of the event Nancy and the staff had everything boxed up and ready to go. They even rolled it out to the car and helped us load it in. Our guests have gone on and on about how pretty everything was and how good the food tasted.

My good friend remarked, "you are so relaxed - I can't believe you are the mother of the bride." Nancy made it so easy to be relaxed because I knew we were in good hands. I would highly recommend Shady Oaks and Nancy to anyone planning an event.

My Wife and I had a Beautiful Wedding at Shady Oaks. Lynne was Amazing through all the Planning and Visits to the Facility. Over the Months of Planning, we grew Very Close to Lynne, and Couldnt be Happier with the end Result. The Hospitality Lynne showed us was a Real Blessing. We Highly Recommend Shady Oaks.

We had our wedding there not too long ago and I have to say Lynne is amazing to work with. Our wedding was beautiful and unforgettable. We live about an hour and a half away from where our wedding was held and I was a little worried about the long distance communication but Lynne was amazing. The food was great the decorations were awesome and our cake was beautiful. Our wedding was a success. I would recommend this venue to anyone. The setting is beautiful we had an outside wedding and the weather couldn't have been better. Loved it!!

We had our wedding at Shady Oaks and couldnt have been any happier with the way OUR DAY turned out!!! Our wedding coordinator was lynne, she is the best of the best :) From the food, dj,cake, ceremony, everything turned out wonderful!!!!

The coordinators are very friendly and helpful. They made putting my wedding together very easy, stress free, and pleasant. Even the vendors they work with are extremely easy and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend having an event through them. Whether you know exactly what you want or don't have the slightest clue, Shady Oaks can be your one stop answer.

We had wonderful experience working with Nancy at Shady Oaks. She was very professional, understanding, willing and courteous! The venue (Chapel and Reception hall) was wonderful. The atmosphere was so refreshing and relaxing. We don't have any complaints....from the wedding coordinator, food, venue, cake and the DJ...it was all a great experience. We would recommend Shady Oaks to anyone. Oh and the price was RIGHT! April 24, 2010
