Custom Wedding Cake
Shani made an amazing cake. I asked for a custom flavor, earl grey cake with lavender frosting, and even though I loved all her original flavors, her custom cake was exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend working with Shani. -

Shani created a beautiful cake for us, just as I described and it tasted great! Plus she made it gluten free! I’d definitely recommend her to our friends. -

User1502657 Sent on 01/09/2014I ordered a wedding cake for my wedding she was great working with me until 3weeks before our wedding my brother died in tragic accident she sad she would not give my money back soooooo unprofessional not like that happens every day I would not recommend her.

I have to say that I am surprised and saddened by this review. When you contacted me and told me about your brother you said that the wedding was being postponed and that you would contact me when you were ready to reschedule. At that point you had paid a 50% deposit of $167, $100 of it being the reservation fee, and you wondered if it would be refunded or if I would keep it on file for when the wedding did happen. I said if you were planning on rescheduling that I could keep it on file for the future date. It is my recollection that you agreed with that, you certainly did not question or protest it. I would have gladly refunded your money at that point, considering the circumstances, If you had made it clear you were not planning on rescheduling the wedding and having me make the cake at a later date. You have not contacted me since and honestly, I thought you were still planning to have me make your cake at some point. I was assuming that you were not ready to go ahead with the wedding yet and that you would probably be reschedling for this summer. I will refund the money since I am now assuming you are not planning on having me make your cake. I just wish you would have communicated with me about this.
