  O-m-g! Hire her now!

  We finally got a chance to view our photos and all we can say is, “WOW!” We just kept looking at each other, completely speechless. These photos captured the true essence of our personalities, our family, friends, and our love. After we were done, we were EXHAUSTED! WHEW!!! LOL! We really felt like we were at our wedding all over again; dancing, and all. Your work and artistry are unmatched. We can’t believe that it’s OUR wedding is captured in those photos. You guys didn’t miss ANYTHING! You listened to our vision and made it come to life. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES! We will definitely go back to Honolulu, but even if we don’t, we both agree that YOU are our unofficial resident photographer! (LBVVS).

  Best Oahu photographer

  I can’t say enough about Shannon! She was so amazing and capturing every single pictures of our guests which was really important to us. The photos she took of my husband and I were absolutely everything. Her energy and eye for the photos were just amazing. I’m so glad we found here and next time we are back in Hawaii I able going to have her take our family photos. I highly recommend her!

  The Photographer We Didn't Know We Needed!

  We chose Shannon’s photography services because her subjects look joyful and natural, she is diversity-inclusive, and her rates are affordable. What we DIDN'T expect was how much energy, organization, efficiency, and joy she would bring to our wedding day while seamlessly blending into our flow - and we totally underestimated the importance of this leadership and thoughtfulness in a photographer! Shannon showed up on our wedding day with so much poise and confidence and smoothly ran our 4-hour package in a way that was considerate of our timeline, other vendors, and our needs and comfort (especially in the heat and busyness), and made sure we were on time (!!) every step of the way without creating any rush or stress. She was thoughtful of our special requests including creating moments of downtime for me and my husband to rest, and adjusted our photo shoot to maximize fun and efficiency while reducing stress and complexity. Looking back, Shannon was such an instrumental part in making our day joyful, memorable, and stress-free by allowing us to focus solely on enjoying the day our loved ones. Thank you, Shannon! Hope we get to work with you in the future!

  Ryan and Brandi Wedding

  Shannon was an absolute delight to work with from day 1. Literally 1 minute into speaking with her over the phone for an initial consult, both my husband and I knew Shannon was THE photographer to make our wedding day extra special for the both of us. My husband and I were always camera shy, so we were nervous about how the photos would turn out given that being photogenic did not come naturally to either of us. Within a couple minutes of our engagement shoot with Shannon, we knew without a doubt that we made the right decision. Not only did her friendly, professional demeanor make us feel comfortable with her from the get go, but the genuine connection we felt with her resulted in final edits that completely blew our expectations.
  
  Shannon also pays extra attention to the often overlooked details, which we appreciated given that we couldn't experience every moment in its entirety amidst the chaos of our actual wedding day. After receiving all the shots, we sincerely felt like we were able to relive all of the joy from that day and experience the moments we didn't get the chance to witness. Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, choosing Shannon and her team as our wedding photographer was the second best decision we've made aside from actually marrying each other 😂. We would definitely recommend her services to any of our closest friends and family, and we hope we get the chance to work with her again soon!

  Amazing photographer!

  Shannon was an amazing photographer! From photo shooting my engagement photos, down to my Wedding Day. She definitely came through, and took great pictures of what I wanted her to capture. Even with the candid ones. She was super nice and made us feel comfortable taking our pictures. I’m glad I chose shannon as my photographer. Definitely recommend her she won’t disappoint you with her awesome photographing skills!! 💯

  My husband and I knew that Shannon was the perfect photographer from the beginning. We started off with our engagement shoot in her hometown in Oahu, then had her shoot our two-day wedding in the Bay Area in California. Her photos were absolutely STUNNING! From the ocean and cave shoots to the hilltop reception and sunset photos. On top of that, we asked her to shoot an Indian wedding for the first time and she dove right in! The image quality and colors looked beautiful in each and every photo. She is also SOOO friendly and gives people the confidence they need while taking photos. Will absolutely recommend her friends and family as well as ask her to shoot more photos for us in the future. Thank you a million, Shannon!

  Shannon and her team were amazing! My wife and I are not the most comfortable with getting our picture taken but Shannon made us feel comfortable, and offered her expertise with positioning and ideas. We absolutely recommend Shannon and her team if you are looking for a photographer!

  Beautiful engagement session

  Shannon was our hawaii engagement photographer! She was amazing!! From the moment you meet her, she is very friendly, outgoing, energetic, personable, and makes you feel like you are just hanging out with one of your really good friends. Also, she is very responsive, super easy to work with, listens to what your vision for your photos, and makes it happen! She captured our beach and mountains pictures perfectly. Despite the sprinkle of rain during the morning session, within 5 min, we caught a rainbow in our picture!! 😊😊😊I l love how beautiful the pictures came out!! I would definitely recommend Shannon to whoever needs pictures being taken whether it’s for engagement, graduation, family photos, etc. She is awesome!!

  From start to finish, Shannon was such a gem. Given we were doing a destination wedding she was open to interviewing via facetime and answering any and all questions. She was interested in getting to know us as a couple. Leading up to the day she was available to help tailor our timeline. On the big day, she brought such an incredible energy and vibe that was unforgettable. And lastly, the PICTURES! the quality, the color...AMAZING! I can't recommend her enough. And her prices are budget friendly/reasonable as well. Book with her you won't be disappointed.

  Great Photographer on Oahu!

  We loved our experience with Shannon as our wedding photographer. Both Shannon and her assistant photographer that day, Chantel, were personable, nice, funny, and just made our day more enjoyable all around. She made my husband and I feel comfortable instantly. Shannon also helped keep us to our timeline and made sure we got every shot we wanted, including some gorgeous pictures at the beach down the road from the venue. There was a slight delay in receiving our pictures after our wedding, but Shannon was communicative throughout the entire process about the cause of the delay and her estimated timeline. The pictures were definitely worth the wait! They turned out beautifully and I can’t stop looking at all of our beautiful photos. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Shannon to anyone looking for a photographer for any event!

  Hire local, Hawaii's best photographer

  Shannon Sasaki is the best wedding photographer on the island. As a person who was born and raised on the island, it was important for me to pick someone local, someone who knew the island. Not only is Shannon professional, she is also someone who is down for adventure. She will hike up hills and push through tall grass and bushes to get the best shot. Working with her and her team was a dream. And the pictures!! Amazing.

  Shannon was the absolute best! When we had decided to get married in Hawaii we didn’t know where to begin. We found Shannon’s page and setup a zoom meeting and it went amazing! Right from the beginning of the zoom meeting she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Her communication is on point, she never fails to get back to you and her attitude is always great. She also helped us out by giving us a list of preferred vendors, which was invaluable to us during the rest of the planning stages. When we got to Hawaii, we did a quick photoshoot a few days before the wedding and meeting Shannon for the first time couldn’t have gone better. She made my wife and I feel very comfortable, it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. The day of the wedding went very smooth, she was ready for anything and everything and we could not be happier with our photos! Her great communication and customer service extended beyond the wedding and is still helping us and answering questions whenever we have any. We cannot thank her enough for capturing our special day! We’ll cherish these photos forever! Thanks again, Shannon!

She made my wife and I feel very comfortable, it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. The day of the wedding went very smooth, she was ready for anything and everything and we could not be happier with our photos! Her great communication and customer service extended beyond the wedding and is still helping us and answering questions whenever we have any.   Dream Wedding with the best photographer!

  Shannon and Chanel were amazing! They made us feel comfortable from the beginning, they worked great with the videographer, everything was a dream!! Honestly Shannon has been my favorite photographer we have ever had to deal with. They were so friendly, kind and easy to talk to. The pictures were all amazing! 10 out 10.

  Terrific from Start to Finish

  Shannon shot our wedding in June 2022, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.
  
  Our package included an engagement shoot, which was a blast. Shannon is fun to work with and seems to genuinely be enjoying herself. She picked out a few options for places to shoot that would work best for our vibe and her suggestions were spot on.
  
  She did a good job helping us prepare in advance of the big day, planning out the timeline and the shots that were most important to us.
  
  The day-of everything ran smoothly. The planning helped us keep to the schedule (as much as any wedding day ever does!) but Shannon was also calm, flexible and eager to make detours to get a great shot when the opportunity presented itself. We did a quick shoot with her in the ocean after the ceremony and the results were unbelievable.
  
  In the end her work is absolutely stunning; creative staging, beautiful bright color palette, and great at catching wonderful moments. Shannon was worth every penny and we are so thankful that she was part of our big day.

  Awesome 10 year vow renewal

  We were so excited to schedule Shannon as our photographer for our 10 year anniversary vow renewal in Hawaii! We knew the moment would be great and the photos would be our ultimate souvenir. We loved Shannon’s design eye and she didn’t disappoint!!! She was so approachable and kind during the event which made us more comfortable for photos. She also had good communication prior to the event and post event. We received our photo gallery in a timely manner and final edited images quickly too. I would highly recommend Shannon for weddings, engagements, family photos, etc…any event where the photos are important. :)

She made me feel super comfortable and we laughed a lot, which is always a good sign! We flew her out to Kauai from Oahu to capture our special day, as well as a pre-wedding shoot the day before. Shannon is amazingly detailed and has lots of great ideas for good shots. We trusted her completely and had a blast working with her. She was also super flexible and accommodating in terms of timing, making sure to capture all the important shots. You can feel good knowing that she cares just as much about your special day as you do, and we would work with her again in a heartbeat if we have the chance!
