  Alyssa is amazing!

  I had the pleasure of having Alyssa as my wedding planner on June 11th. There isn’t any other word to describe Alyssa than AMAZING! She was always just a text away throughout the entire planning process and it truly felt like I was just planning with one of my friends. She is so friendly and I could tell quickly she was going to work endlessly to make my wedding the best it could be! I didn’t get to meet Alyssa until the day of my wedding, but it honestly felt like I was just running into a friend. She made my wedding day go so smoothly and if there were any issues I would have had no idea as she handled everything and anything throughout the day. I truly can call Alyssa a friend now. She loves what she does and you can tell in the way she will manage your special day ❤️

  Absolutely Fantastic!

  Alyssa Sharpe is an incredible professional: knowledgeable, hard working, and always “can do.” Alyssa helped me with all of the details in the lead up to the wedding as well as the various “day of” event coordination. No problem is too large for her to solve. To say that she was a lifesaver is an understatement! Alyssa is the consummate expert: organized, detail oriented, efficient, and an absolutely lovely human. I would recommend Alyssa 150%!

  The Best of the Best

  I truly could not have asked for a smarter, kinder, more organized, or more flexible wedding planner than Alyssa — she swooped in to save the day for us when unforeseen circumstances caused an issue on our wedding day, and we can’t thank her enough. On top of being a lovely person in general, she was a DREAM to work with from start to finish — she has such an eye for detail, and she kept me calm from the beginning of the day until the very last hour. I had total faith in her, and yet she STILL blew me away. She’s amazing!

  Absolute best!

  Really doesn’t get better than Alyssa! I’ve been a bridesmaid 14 times and most recently I was in a dear friend’s wedding as the officiant. Alyssa was so on top of everything and made everyone including the bride so calm and comfortable. She went way beyond her duties even reaching out to me directly before the wedding and helping me with all my questions and needs (it was my first time officiating). I’ve never seen a wedding come together so perfectly and that was in large part thanks to Alyssa’s meticulous planning and organization!! HIGHLY recommend!

  The best all around!

  Alyssa was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I was someone who hadn't thought much about my wedding day itself prior to getting engaged. Throughout the planning process she was so attentive, always available and had answers/ solutions/ vendor options whenever I needed them. As the bride, I was pulled in 500 different directions and it was such a relief and am so thankful to have had her there looking out for me on my wedding day. I cannot more highly recommend Sharpe Event Planning! She is simply the best!

  Professional, organized, responsive

  I hired Alyssa and her bridal attendant Amanda for a month of wedding package and I couldn’t be more pleased. I had planned just about the entire wedding, but at the 11th hour, Alyssa was there to help put out some major fires and rectify them while keeping me calm, giving me enough information that I needed but not overwhelm me with too much. She helped me organize all of the last minute details. I thought I was extremely organized but she added things I would never think of in my life!! She confirmed and reconfirmed vendors, and was the go to person on the day of the wedding, seamlessly working hand in hand with the venue’s on site wedding coordinator. Her bridal attendant was also spot on, attending to my every need, the morning of the wedding.
  
  Alyssa is fantastic at what she does and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. This was the best decision I made!

  So thankful for Alyssa! We had a horrible experience with our prior wedding planner and ended up parting ways. Luckily, Alyssa came in to save the day (and wedding). She read through all of our vendor contracts and made edits to ensure they were in our best interests. Also, she knows the best vendors, was readily available to answer all of our questions, and was a calming presence throughout the entire planning process. Cannot thank her enough for all of her work! Hire her - you will not regret it!!

  My brother and sister both got married this past year and each used Alyssa as their wedding planner. Despite having to plan for two weddings within one month of each other, Alyssa gave her full attention to both of them and was there every step of the way. Her attentiveness and knowledge of all aspects of planning are second to none. Alyssa took her time getting to know each couple and listening to precisely what it was they were looking for. She knew exactly which vendors could fulfill those needs and never made you feel pressured into making a decision.   To say our wedding was the most fun and flawless night ever would be an understatement. My husband and I had a black tie optional, 225 person, Saturday night wedding at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in NYC. We started planning our wedding approximately 10 months prior to the date and Alyssa was with us every step of the way. From finding the wedding venue, to the DJ to the food, she was always there. Hiring Alyssa to help with our wedding planning was 1 million percent worth it, and I was never in the least bit stressed throughout the process.
  
  Alyssa got to know us well prior to the wedding planning process. Then, she would always give us a few top-notch options for vendors, and as she knew us so well, one of them was always a home run. We never had to second guess our choices and had a lot of negotiation lee-way with the vendors because of Alyssa. Once the major vendors were out of the way, it came down to the details and Alyssa did not miss a beat. She was ahead of the curve, made a detailed timeline, slowly checked all items off the list (including the little details such as monogrammed cocktail napkins) and finished the planning approx. 3 weeks to a month prior to our big day.
  
  Although Alyssa was also running a business she made us feel like we were her only client. From answering emails at 1am on Saturday, to texting us to see how we were doing, to accompanying us to any appointment we wanted, she always put our needs and feelings above all else.
  
  Throughout the whole process, Alyssa also became a friend. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone as she made me feel like the most special, calm bride in the world. My husband and our families would say the same.

  Alyssa worked with my son and I in planning his Bar Mitzvah. We worked closely together for over a year. I can't say enough phenomenal things about Alyssa. She is beyond patient, resourceful, creative and above all she is a fantastic listener. She really thinks about what the client is saying and she is not afraid to do extra work or make last minute changes if this is what she knows will ultimately be in the best interest of her client. While she does have excellent relationships with many renown vendors, she knows that her client is her first priority and always works her hardest to negotiate the best prices and is unafraid to walk away from them if she thinks her clients best interest aren't being served. Alyssa is also capable of managing large budgets and is highly organized in keeping financial records and files up to date and accurate. She is creative and resourceful and for our large party, she left not a single detail out. The event was simply sensational, entirely to her credit. Above all, Alyssa is honestly the nicest person; she always has a smile, always happy to help and her sincerity and kindness shines through in all that she does.

  When planning my wedding, I very quickly realized how much I didn't know about planning a large event. Fortunately I found Alyssa and Sharpe Event Planning. She saved the day many, many times over. She understood us and what we wanted very quickly and made sure that the wedding truly reflected us. It also reflected her intense attention to detail and organization. Just as importantly, she kept the big picture in mind and helped us control costs. She is a true professional, but is also such a warm and friendly person that working with her is a pleasure. Our stress levels were very low because we always felt that we were in the best of hands.

  My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Grove on May 25, 2013. Words can not express how happy we were. We booked with Alyssa who was so helpful and willing to attend to all our needs before and during the wedding. She made sure every little detail that I wanted was there! I can not thank Alyssa enough for all the effort she put in to make this a special day. She made our wedding a day that we will always remember. Everything I discussed with Alyssa was done and she always made sure I was happy with everything. She always went above and beyond from adding crystals to our wedding menus to getting me the bride and groom chairs I wanted. Those are some of the things she did for us, as well as, many others. She made us feel as if we were the only wedding she was planning. She was always one top of things. Alyssa was always attending to us the day of the wedding. She took care of it all!   My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Grove on May 25, 2013. Words can not express how happy we were.
