  The Perfect Wedding

  We got married August 3rd, 2019 at Shea's Performing Arts Center. It was absolutely magical. The PERFECT day. We worked with Bobbi and Laura and they were able to coordinate everything. One of them was there all night and made sure everything went off without an issue. They checked on me and my husband throughout the night and they knew how to handle every situation that arose. People still talk about what a great night it was, I HIGHLY recommend this venue.

  Excellent Service

  Shea's was an absolute dream for my wedding! The team and service was amazing!! The venue is so unique and special and the staff truly help make your wedding vision come to life! I highly recommend this venue for your wedding!!!!

  We held our ceremony on the Pearl Street stair case in the Shea's lobby and it was literally what dreams are made of. We ended up having a rainy day on our wedding day, so we ended up taking all of our photo's inside our venues, so we really got to utilize everything Shea's had to offer. We worked with Bobbi, and she couldn't have been more accommodating. She gave our photographer free reign to take us anyplace (except the stage) for photos, so they turned out beyond amazing. They put our names and wedding date on the marquee, which also made for some beautiful pictures.
  They arranged everything with our officiant and our sound guy to make sure the sound was ideal for our ceremony. Everything ended up going off without a hitch, and the pictures came out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. If you are looking for a venue to emulate classic Buffalo architecture and and epic beauty, work with Bobbi and the Shea's staff to make your dream ceremony a reality.

  We are so glad we chose the Grand Lobby at Shea's for our wedding reception. From the moment we first contacted Shea's, Bobbi was so accommodating and friendly. She and her staff worked seamlessly with our caterer to pull off the party of the century (or so we've been told by our guests!). The reception turned out so lovely, and I feel like we didn't have to do much at all. Bobbi even put together our flower arrangements for us. The lobby is so beautiful on its own that our minimal table decorations still looked great. We also loved that it's a historical site that is so Buffalo! If you're lucky enough to get one of their free dates when there isn't a show going on, Shea's is a great place for a beautiful wedding.

  I utilized Shea's for my ceremony only and it was truly a unique and amazing experience. We are not members of a church, and Shea's was cheaper than any of the downtown church options I researched. Not to mention - I did not have to spend any money on flowers or decor because the space is beautiful as-is! Our ceremony was held on the grand staircase, and guests were seated in the lobby. Although it wasn't a traditional aisle, all of the guests had a clear view of the entire ceremony. I have been getting tons of compliments on how different and special our ceremony was. We were then able to take all of our pictures inside the theater, and they even had our names on the marquee! Bobbi was very accommodating - I would recommend this option to any bride who is looking for a non-church option!
