  Where do I start? My (now) husband and I enlisted the help of Shelby and her team for our special weekend, as we live out of state. We worked with Shelby for a little over a year, with monthly planning calls up until a month before the wedding, when we then had weekly calls (although we could call or text her at any time for advice). Throughout the entire process, we honestly had no stress or anxiety about the wedding, thanks to Shelby and her wonderful team. She suggested the best DJ I've ever experienced. Our flowers and rentals were top-notch. And the food and cake were outstanding. Thanks to Shelby, our wedding weekend was pretty perfect. She was on top of every single aspect of the rehearsal and wedding day. She kept me on-time and focused, while making sure I enjoyed everything about the big day. My husband admitted about a month before the wedding that he had been skeptical about the need for a wedding planner in the beginning but was SO glad we moved forward with Shelby. He was singing her praises! We both are over the moon with the service we receive. Shelby and her team are now part of our family and we are so grateful! XOXO Sus and Martin

  Shelby and Madison were amazing! The minute they started helping I could relax about all the wedding details.I felt like a guest at the wedding instead of a frazzled mother of the bride worrying about all miscellaneous details.

  Shelby Peaden and her crew were amazing! My husband and I were married on September 24, 2016 and we will always remember it as one of the happiest days of our lives - which tells me that Shelby and team did their job well! I used Shelby Peaden Events for Wedding Day Coordination (or what she calls Event Management services). Shelby and Haley were extremely sweet at the rehearsal and day of the wedding! I know there was a third coordinator as well, but I never got a chance to meet her as she was on set-up duty for most of the day.
  Shelby and Haley made sure my husband and I (and my parents for the most part) didn't have to deal with anything other than having a good time! As my husband and I were starving when we arrived at our reception one of our favorite memories of Shelby was that she met us at our car that dropped us off at the reception with 2 plates full of our favorite appetizers... which was the only uninterrupted time we were able to eat! It was magical! (That was the moment my husband also admitted that having a coordinator was worth the money - so major win there!)
  I can go on about the little things Shelby and Haley did to help create our favorite day, but there are too many to list. And on your wedding day - every little detail you don't have to deal with is one panic attack avoided - so the little things count for a lot! If you need wedding day Event management services, I would definitely recommend Shelby and her team!

  We hired Shelby based off of a recommendation since we were having our wedding in Florida, but we live in Texas. I'm SO glad we used her service! She is incredible! She is super organized and helped us with every aspect of planning our wedding. On the day of our wedding, everything went off perfectly. I never felt stressed about a single thing, the whole day was amazing. I highly recommend Shelby! She is very quick to respond, super friendly, has a great eye for design/decor/florals/color, and genuinely loves what she does!

  We used Shelby for day-of planning. She first reached out to us for some preliminary information about a month before our wedding and began working with us about two weeks out. She was AMAZING! She worked with all of our vendors to coordinate last minute details, drop off times, pick up times, and anything else that they needed. We certainly would not have had the wedding we did without Shelby's help.

  Hiring Shelby was the best decision we made. She was very knowledgeable about local vendors and was a pleasure to work with. Plus, she knows how to keep a stressed bride sane! We would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding along the Emerald Coast.

  Shelby was a wedding planning lifesaver! She knew exactly how to remove the stress from wedding planning details for me and my husband. Her connections to the most professional local vendors were priceless to us. Shelby made sure they delivered exactly what they promised and more. She was EXCEPTIONAL on our wedding day--running around the venues making sure every single detail was perfectly placed and how we envisioned it. She even ordered outdoor heaters at the last minute AND had her assistant, Erin, run out to buy me a beautiful ivory shawl because it was an unseasonably cold day!! Between the phone calls, hundreds of email replies, and hand-holding on my wedding day, Shelby was always there for me. Our downtown Pensacola wedding was the wedding of my dreams! I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience I had with Shelby. I would HIGHLY recommend her to any and all Emerald Coast brides.

  Shelby Peaden Events was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! Shelby is one of the sweetest people I know. Even the wedding vendors that we worked with told me how sweet and great she was and they were right! She always answered my emails and returned my calls with answers that I needed! She helped me feel at ease with all the decisions we had to make. She always gave me options to pick from when I wasn't sure what I should do and she guided me in making the perfect decsions. Our rehersal dinner and wedding were so beautiful and we were so happy when the weekend was over! I would recommend Shelby Peaden Events to anyone looking for a someone that can make you feel comfortable and make your wedding day perfect!

  Overall, our experience with Shelby was fantastic and I would highly recommend her to any one. She was friendly, accommodating, thorough, knowledgeable and emotionally invested in the process. The only area I would suggest her to improve upon slightly is resetting budget expectations as changes are inevitably made throughout the process. I would also include her fee in the initial budget and provide both a base line budget and a budget + so expectations are established early.

  We hired Shelby for her "Day of Wedding Service" Our church had a director that actually told everyone where to be when, which I'm sure Shelby could have done with ease. Our family friend did the flowers and helped with many decisions that a wedding planner is paid for in the months proceeding the big day. Shelby saw to it that the reception ran smoothly(after the grooms dear family arrived over an hour late from being lost) Our photograher Meg Baisden worked well with Shelby. The only thing I see that could have been better was to make sure that the staff from the venue prepared a nice selection of food that the bride and groom wanted to eat. There was much food left over(that the state of fla. does not allow the brides family to take home) yet the boxes prepared for the honeymoon night for the bride and groom were much lacking.   Shelby Peaden was hired as our partial planner for my daughter's wedding for October 2 in Destin. Being from Atlanta, we needed her desperately for our planning. We valued her input on the various vendors we chose. Her recommendations proved amazing. She not only had to juggle the Mother of the Bride questions, but also the Bride. She handled both of us diplomatically and cc both of us in emails when necessary to keep us both in the loop. We even had conference calls with her on three different occasions. She was professional in every way! She was very reliable, responsible and quickly responded to my email requests or took my phone calls. Most of all, I liked her calming personality with her greatest asset being a good listener, but ready with many helpful suggestions when asked. She was extremely cost effective when comparing resources. Shelby was the reason we had such a magical wedding that ran smoothly with no flaws! We owe all the details of the pre- and day of scheduling mechanics to her extreme professionalism as our wedding planner. We were blessed that my daughter found her on the internet as a perfect match for our wedding needs!

  My wedding would not have been a success without Shelby Peaden! Not only would it not have been as successful, but my stress levels would have been out the roof on the day of. Shelby is a very flexible individual that is always available to answer questions through emails and gives her opinion of what works best. In planning my wedding, it was difficult for me to envision what looks good with what. With Shelby, I felt confident I was headed in the right direction with her feedback. I also was planning my wedding from a different city. Shelby made my wedding planning seamless when dealing with vendors and venues. She even went to my venues to take pictures to help her and myself pick the best decorations. She coordinated the reception with the meeting planners at the hotel to make sure we utilized every bit of space. Shelby, had many tricks up her sleeve with decorations. Our wedding would have been very basic without her. Shelby Peaden fit right into my budget and was by far the BEST investment I made during my planning process! Thank you Shelby!

  My wedding would not have been a success without Shelby Peaden! Not only would it not have been as successful, but my stress levels would have been out the roof on the day of. Shelby is a very flexible individual that is always available to answer questions through emails and gives her opinion of what works best.   Necessary. Shelby is what is necessary in planning a wedding. I live in Mississippi and was planning a wedding in Santa Rosa. I knew immediately after speaking to Shelby over the phone that she was someone I would enjoy talking to over the next several months. She has a sweet personality and a calming disposition that brides everywhere can benefit from. She is very organized and detail oriented and was able to keep me on task. She also has a background in interior design which translated into the overall stunning design of my ceremony and reception.
  
  The day of the wedding Shelby was worth her weight in gold. I have heard so many friends say they were too stressed on their big day and they were glad when it was over. I didn't feel that way at all. Shelby had all vendors ready and fielded all questions. I was able to live in the moment of my day and enjoy the special time with family and friends. I was also happy that my mother and mother in law were also able to live in the moment that day too. Spend the money to spend the time with loved ones...It is worth cutting back somewhere else. I felt like having a wedding planner was a bit of a luxury that I was relucatant to partake in at first...now I know it is a necessity... Make Shelby your necessity!

  Shelby was always responsive to our concerns and gave frank answers to any of our questions. Her suggestions proved invaluable and were reflected in what I consider to be a perfect wedding. The reviews from our guests were off the charts. Everything ran like a well oiled machine and if there were glitches, we were totally unaware of it. She was involved in every phase of the planning including the rehearsal dinner. She made our lives much easier and I would never recommend attempting a destination wedding without the help of a coordinator and I would choose Shelby again.

  Shelby with Shelby Peaden Events was the wedding planner of my dreams!
  She was always quick to respond via phone or email and even eased my mom's mind when she would call or email too. She had a lot of great new and fresh ideas, which we used a lot of for our wedding, but never pushed or encouraged anything that we didn't like. She sent me reminders of things that needed to be done and offered her help wherever she could. The day of the event she was very professional and handled all the unexpected issues without us ever knowing there were any problems. She was definitely worth every penny for her services and went far above and beyond what we expected! =)

  I honestly don't think I could have planned our wedding without Shelby! I knew what I wanted, but had a hard time putting it all together, but Shelby did it without blinking! She is so creative!! We rented a venue that had nothing, we had to rent everything from the forks to the lighting. Shelby made everything flow together so smoothly. She has a fabulous list of vendors in our area! Wedding day was so enjoyable for my mom, myself and my wedding party due to Shelby and her assistant taking care of all the details. Our wedding day was PERFECT! I highly recommend Shelby for any wedding planning needs!

  Shelby Peaden was by far the best decision my husband and I made while planning our wedding. Our wedding was of the destination sort, so I was getting a bit frazzled working with vendors that I didn't know. When Renee Armour with Two Fishes Artistry recommended Shelby Peaden, I e-mailed her right away. She was very patient while my fiance and I discussed whether or not we should invest in her services. Ultimately we did and didn't look back once!!!
  
  She has a wonderful list of vendors that she's worked with and everyone that we worked with during our wedding was just fabulous. I was a bit sad to say goodbye.
  
  Shelby has an eye for decor and has the best ideas. I wanted a southern, backyard wedding with the beach as a backdrop and she made that happen!! I felt comfortable enough to let her make some final decisions and everything turned out better than I could have imagined.
  
  I would really recommend that you get in cahoots with Shelby if you want the perfect wedding day. She was better than we could have imagined.
