Beautiful reception with good food and lots of dance space!!
We had a beautiful wedding reception at Sheraton Uptown. Natalie Ramos was our wedding coordinator and she was very knowledgeable, experienced professional and friendly. 50th Wedding Anniversary Reception
We had our reception at Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown and we can't recommend it enough! Megan Vise was our Wedding Coordinator, and she was a rockstar in keeping everything on track. The decor was stunning, setting the perfect ambiance for our special day. Megan's attention to detail truly made the space come alive. One of the highlights for us was the food - it was absolutely delicious! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how tasty everything was.
Throughout the planning process, we appreciated the efficient communication and support we received. However, we did notice that there were a few small details that could have been improved upon. While the overall experience was positive, we felt that some aspects could have been executed with a bit more finesse.
Overall, Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown and Megan Vise exceeded our expectations. Their professionalism and dedication helped make our reception truly memorable. We would definitely consider using their services again for future events. Putting together a wedding in 3 days
We just found out my father doesn't have much time left to live. I called around to different venues on a Wednesday to see if it were possible to put together a wedding in 3 days. Everything was booked up or they thought I was crazy and impossible to put together a wedding with such short notice. I called the Sheraton and Sarah Wilson answered. I asked if it were possible to put a wedding together for over 30 people in 3 days that would look/be super nice so my dad could walk me down the aisle. She made the impossible happen!!! She was incredibly helpful, responded to all emails, texts within minutes, I literally showed up on Saturday in my dress and everything was taken care of and looked absolutely beautiful, as if we had planned months in advance. She made my dream come true of my dad being able to walk me down the aisle. All other staff was super helpful and friendly and we all ended up having the best day ever!!!! I definitely recommend this wedding venue to anyone, whether you've planned for months or need to put something together real quick. She will make it happen and it will be worry and stress free!!!! Everything was fantastic
Natalie was the best wedding coordinator! We would have been lost without her. The food was phenomenal, we received so many compliments on it. Natalie and her staff did a wonderful job to make our vision come true. The only negative was the staff broke our cake topper and never told us, they just used it on the cake anyway...real bummer. I wish they would have said something or at least tried to fix it.Natalie was the best wedding coordinator! We would have been lost without her. One Month Wedding! Event Planner: Natalie
My husband and I had our wedding on July 21st and had only started planning one month before. We decided on the Sheraton because the second I called with questions, Natalie, our event planner, immediately answered them and sent over a cost estimate with a list of everything included that day. Because we were so short on time, we wanted a place that would do a lot of the work and we definitely got that! Also for a very decent price. She did all of the decorating for the ceremony and reception and I got to choose between colors. She had us choose what food we wanted served (which was delicious) and the night before the wedding, I gave her a ton of little decorations I wanted to add that she set up the next morning; centerpieces, place cards, head table decor, guestbook etc. Natalie also put together an event order and helped me with a lot of ideas as well as kept us all on track the whole night. She got everything exactly the way we wanted and it was absolutely our dream wedding of 100 people put together in less than one month! Natalie was so good with details and even took us and our photographer to the rooftop for sunset photos with views of the mountains. I was also given a beautiful suite room the night before as well as the night of the wedding, included in the price. Excellent, knowledgeable, helpful, organized
My new wife and I live out of state and needed to have the wedding in Albuquerque to be near family. We decided on the Sheraton because we had heard good things and that it was a nice place, but were still worried about planning a wedding that we weren’t even in state to plan! When we got in touch with, and started communicating with Natalie we immediately knew we picked the right place. She made it so easy, took care of everything and made planning the wedding actually an enjoyable experience. Also the night of the wedding, she took care of everything and made it go so smooth. The Sheraton staff was responsive and professional in all aspects. We enjoyed working with Megan Cooley most of all. She managed and took care of us with grace and ease, making us feel comfortable the entire time. Communication up until the day of our event, making all the arrangements, to the very last detail was straightforward and completely trouble free, which was extremely appreciated considering everything else that was taking place on our wedding day. We reserved rooms for several of our wedding party participants, which went smoothly as well. The professional manner in which the staff at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown treated us and our wedding guests, absolutely made us feel like the most important hotel guests of the evening, which says a lot considering our wedding reception was held on New Years Eve 2017, the Hotel was filled with guests and activity, they had their hands full. The Sheraton Uptown has been St. Charles venue for the last 3 years. Every year the Hotel, staff, GM and everyone involved makes our event the most successful event we have. I always look forward to working with Cindy Martinez because I know that she will make sure everything will run as smoothly as possible. As the Committee Chair I make sure that I vocalize that our event should be held at the Sheraton Uptown because of the exceptional customer service we receive. If anyone asks as to where an event should be held I will always promote the Sheraton Uptown. We had our Annual Fundraising Gala at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown, and I couldn't be more please with the service we were provided. From the six months of planning to the day-of coordination of the Gala, Cindy was there for our every need and provided excellent customer service and was very flexible to our different needs. The day-of the Gala, both Cindy and Jessica were so attentive throughout the 5 hour event, and their attention to detail truly made my life easier. We have already booked our 2017 Gala there, too.

We could not have asked for better service from the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown! Everyone was truly amazing and soooo helpful, particularly when we had small hiccups! They went above and beyond to keep us and our guests happy and stress-free!!! Cindy Martinez and Richard Mannis were so helpful and amazing before, during, and after the day! Maddie and Tammy from the laundry room were truly amazing as they took the time to help the bride get stitched back into her dress after her zipper broke - over an hour worth of work to make sure the bride could enjoy the rest of her night!!! The kitchen staff also saved the bride a warm plate as she missed most of dinner due to the wardrobe malfunction! We had all hands on deck to help with setup and tear down. They had the best valued wedding packages and wonderful food! We cannot say enough about how wonderful the entire team was, and we would recommend them to anyone getting married!!!!We could not have asked for better service from the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown! Unfortunately after the ceremony a family member passed away suddenly. They did everything to comfort and attend to us. They even gave us free food. I was upset and lost my room keys multiple times and they were understanding and provided us with new ones.

I just had a wedding here and I absolutely loved it! The ballrooms had beautiful with large crystal chandeliers and was very spacious to accommodate our 300 guest. Weddings can be stressful to plan especially if you are big on the small details as I am, ie: how I wanted the table centerpieces to how the napkins were folded.. I really appreciate the attention to details and I'm thankful my wedding specialist Lindsay Caldwell was there to help make the day go as smoothly as possible. She was quick to respond to emails and answer any questions or concerns I had. She worked very hard to decrease the stress on our part and I can not thank you enough! Having our reception at the Sheraton Uptown was perfect. The service was extremely prompt. The wedding planner Natalie Ramos was exceptional and was a huge reason for deciding upon the Sheraton for our reception. Their food is so delicious! Being event planners ourselves, we were so grateful to have the professionalism and knowledgeable staff assist us with the many parts in doing such a big production for our Wedding Day. Our families stayed on site and it made it so convenient to have our rooms in the same place. Our guests raved over and over on our food and service provided. The Sheraton Uptown were so flexible with meeting our needs and we would recommend them over and over again!Cindy and the entire staff at the Sheraton Uptown gave us such a memorable experience for our wedding. unforgettable wedding /reception venue
We had a unforgettable positive wedding experience at SherationABQ. Natalie Ramos helped us every step of the way and we were very happy. To the backdrop during ceremony, the delicious food and pretty chandeliers at reception were amazing. Our guests loved the food and are impressed with the venues display. Highly recommend this as a wedding venue if you want to enjoy your wedding with still remember all the highlights!We had a unforgettable positive wedding experience at SherationABQ. Cindy was amazing in orchestrating our wedding reception and honeymoon stay at Sheraton ABQ Uptown! She was responsive and flexible with meeting times, and worked closely with those responsible for hotel rooms for us and our wedding guests. She was able to accommodate all hotel reservations with our discounted rate, and gifted us a complimentary second night in our honeymoon suite based on our high number of reservations.
However, there was certainly a breakdown in communication between hotel staff concerning our accommodations that left us without any of our extra wedding cake and unable to get into our hotel room upon our returns. A faulty door lock battery on our honeymoon suite was the source of the problem, and hotel staff didn't bother to address the problem until our 2-night stay was over, despite over 10 key cards collected between the two of us over 36 hours of trying to get into our room.
These factors were out of Cindy's control, but she made quick amends to my wife and me and ordered us another complimentary wedding cake for our 1-year anniversary. She is definitely the wedding coordinator you want on your team on your big day.

The Sheraton Uptown is a beautiful venue. Cindy Martinez was so professional and flexible throughout the whole process. We had a few changes to the menu and she made it happen. The food was amazing! The biggest complaint I have is that during the reception, it was so hot! We were all sweating so much and my guests were complaining. The staff did not keep up on filling the water glasses, especially for it being so hot in there. And the bartender was very rude to me. I asked for some water and he told me he didn't have any. Then my brother-in-law asked again and he gave me a room temp bottle of water. My brother-in-law then asked if I could at least have some ice and he gave me some, but was very put-off about having to do it!! He also had two HUGE tip jars on the counter and it was pretty much all you could see. My wedding coordinator politely asked if he could move them to another location or maybe just have one up and he proceeded to be extremely rude to her and tell her that he is only paid minimum wage and went on grumbling about his disgust with her even asking such a thing. I also got several comments from my guests about how rude he was. Overall, we had a wonderful time and everything was beautiful!The Sheraton Uptown is a beautiful venue. Amazing Event Coordinator and Gorgeous Ballroom
While we partially chose the Uptown Sheraton for the beautiful chandeliers in the ballroom and the perfect location for our many out of town guests, the best selling point for us was our coordinator for the event: Natalie Ramos. She was amazing and made sure everything happened according to plan. All decor ended up exactly as we asked. She frequently went above and beyond for us, even decorating the ceremony arch from our supplies and making sure we were allowed into our suites early as the front desk staff was not always helpful or friendly.
Her presence and experienced, professional, kind involvement eliminated our stress and allowed us to simply enjoy our wedding day. She communicated frequently and pro-actively so we knew exactly what was happening.
