  Sue is incredible. Prices are affordable and she can get all the alterations done so quickly! She is so friendly and the quality of work is amazing. She altered my wedding dress, basically changed the whole thing to my liking, and made sure I loved it before I left her store.

  Sue was so easy to work with and did a wonderful job on the alterations to my beautiful Maggie Sottero wedding gown. She hemmed my dress in the front so that it was the right length for my outdoor wedding and also added a bustle which looked amazing when it was bustled. My gown is heavily beaded down the back and Sue was able to add a bustle that still allowed all of the beading to be visible. Sue also fixed some of the beading that was missing (my gown was a sample gown), and had steamed it for me when I went to pick it up a week before my wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend Sue Bittler to anyone looking for wedding gown or any alterations.

  Thank you so much for a wonderful job and experience. I would recommend Sue for any alterations. I had a dress altered as the mother of the bride as well as having my daughters wedding dress altered. Sue went out of her way to accommodate us, we only had a week to get everything done. She met with us for the fitting and the very next day we were able to come back and make sure the dresses fit correctly. They did and we took them home with plenty if time. I recommend Sue to everyone.

  Let me start by saying that Sue is one of a kind. She was nothing but kind to me even when my moms strong personality came out at our first fitting. She is very relaxed and easy going. Her work is beautiful as well as her prices were what I was looking for. We did a few changes on the dress but I just told her what I wanted and she made it happen. She I work every cent and worth traveling too. I lived in Milwaukie, Oregon at the time and it is a drive to see her. Her personality alone was the thing that just made me know that she would take care of things. She never let me down. Trust me there are so many other things to think of per wedding days. So make a right choice the first time and give She's the Cat's Meow a call and Sue will take care of you!

  Sue Bittler was so easy to work with and made our lives easier with quick, timely alterations. She even went the extra mile to fix any loose threads, beading, undershapewear garments, steaming and cleaning. She has a very nice boutique and is an excellent seamtress. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and use her again in the future myself. Thank you, Sue!

  Sue went far and beyond our expectations. My sister (the bride) was getting married to a Marine. The same day of the first fitting, we got horrible news that the groom was going to be deployed early and we were going to have to cancel ALL wedding plans and fly to North Carolina the next day to get the wedding taken care of quickly before he was to be shipped off. We called Sue an HOUR after the first fitting and told her the situation. She completely went out of her way to make sure the wedding dress was ready the very next day for us to pick up on the way to the airport. She even helped us package the wedding dress so it wouldnt get damaged on the flight. The dress fit my sister amazingly and we couldnt have been happier with the work Sue did. She didnt just alter the brides dress within less than 24 hours but also the dress of the mother of the bride. Sue was amazing and I would definetly recommend her to anyone. Thanks Sue!

  Sue Bittler, owner of She's The Cat's Meow is not only a delight to work with, but also VERY talented! She has a great eye for how dresses are supposed to fit on the body and alters precisely. She has a good sense of humor and is honest but gentle when her opinion is needed. I would highly recommend her for any and all alterations. She is worth the drive if you do not live in the area.

  When I began my adventure of gown searching I never believed that I would stumble into it in the very town I lived in let alone find one that suited EXACTLY the style I had dreamed up AND was unbelievably reasonably priced.
  Working with Sue was a pleasure, her personality is very easy going, and when you need some extra support, shes there for you! She handled me, my mother and my six bridesmaids with ease, and delivered brilliantly on all our alterations and especially my customized sleeves, which truly brought my dress to its fullest potential. I got so many compliments on my dress, and wish I could show it off to the world. I would STRONGLY reccomend She's the Cats Meow and Sue to any bride or even just anyone looking for alterations of any sort. And I am certain my bridesmaids would agree with that as well!

  The dress looked amazing. Had a few scheduling issues, partly because of short schedule window. Also, not all of the elements were completed (again, short schedule). We are very grateful for the work she did and taking on the dress, when no other dresses could be found in our budget.

  Nightmare added stress

  Please do not use this woman. She quotes one price and then charges way to much for the little that she did as well as not providing any communication. She had the dress for over 8 weeks when we called because the wedding was in less then a month she said it was ready. We went in and she had not sewn anything and said that was normal and we could pick it up the day before the wedding. This was not ok so we asked that it be ready asap so we had time to make sure everything was good. She said a week. When again we had to call her she said she hoped to do it that night and we set up a time two days later. The dress was not what we were expecting and her bustle was an eye sore that we had to fix. Please don’t waste your money.

  Do NOT take your dress here! I was a bridesmaid for a girl who won "free alterations" to this woman at the Brides for Breast Cancer event. We read the one same review(which is on here and other websites as well) and decided to try her out. She is an hour and a half drive from Portland, but we figured it was free alterations so we would make the drive. She got a dress that was 2 sizes too large for her at the event, but it was a $3000 dress that she got for $600 and it was beautiful. The seamstress at the event said it would be no problem to alter.
  
  She seemed to know what she was doing and was professional. We even decided to enlist her for the making of the bridesmaid dresses. She RUINED my friend's dress. She cut off so much material the the FIRST fitting, we couldn't even zip her into a dress that started off 2 sizes to large. The dress was ripped, and she blamed it on the bride, saying that she much have ripped the lace some time before. The SECOND fitting was even worse, and she removed so much from the bottom that the dress was 3 inches too short for her shoes! Sue was insisting that the dress wasn't too short, and that her heels were going to sink into the grass. The THIRD alteration was EVEN WORSE the dress was still too tight, the material was pulling and wrinkling all over making the strapless dress pull down and exposing half of my friend's chest. This was also when my dress was supposed to be ready to try on, and she brings in a Frankenstein looking pieced together pieces of fabric that wasn't hemmed and didn't even have a zipper. It was appalling and heartbreaking. There was even a FOURTH fitting scheduled (how many times does it take??! When I got married I only had ONE and picked up the dress before my wedding and it was perfect). We took the dress and ran, and demanded our deposit back for the bridesmaid dresses, which I'll admit we did receive.
  
  We took the dress to Tatyana (you can find her on citysearch with 67 positive reviews) who was able to repair some of the damage. She had to wear flats with her dress to make it long enough to look right. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR!
