Multiple guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had

Shooby Doo was one of the major elements in making sure our wedding was a success. Multiple guests said that our wedding food was the BEST they've ever had, and these were guests that have been to countless weddings. We wanted to make sure our wedding had a bit of Asian influence, and we were not disappointed with all the options we found on the catering menu. Guests especially loved the salmon, kalbi, bulgolgi skewers, duck buns, and tuna tacos. Everything tasted juicy, fresh, and hot. The food wasn't dry or cold whatsoever, and every bite tasted like something you might find at a high end restaurant. They also accommodated our cocktail choices (Yuzu G+T and Blood Orange Margarita)....

We Loved Shooby Doo!

We booked Shooby Doo for our 140 guest wedding in September of this year, and they were absolutely perfect!

While planning any event or wedding, you always worry if the food will be good especially for large events, but with Shooby we weren't worried about this at all! Our guests were SO impressed with Shooby and how good the food was.

For our wedding we had:
-Cocktail hour: cheeseburger sliders, salmon poke endive, and caprese skewers
- Dinner: summer berry salad, smashed potatoes, asparagus, salmon, and Kalbi ribs
- Late night food: chicken and cheese quesadillas, cheese pizzas, and mini corn dogs

In addition to the great food, Shooby's team are experts in helping to coordinate all necessary details for your event. We worked with Maggie directly, and she was excellent. She had great communication, helpful insight, and great attention to detail. On our wedding day we had to shift our ceremony from outdoors to under a tent due to rain, and Maggie and her team worked so hard to change everything around last minute. We are so grateful to the Shooby Doo team for doing this, and truly making our wedding a dream!

You will actually love the food

Do you like food that tastes good, good service, and a great price? Hire Shooby Doo. We had a 100+ person wedding at the Seattle Asian Art Museum on short notice, and Reese with Shooby Doo was so easy to work with and the food and beverages WERE SO GOOD. I’ve gone to a lot of events in my time and this food was among the very best. Loved them and highly recommend!

We highly recommend ShoobyDoo Catering for your wedding or any special event. Not only was their food absolutely DIVINE; paired w/ their professional and friendly staff, the entire experience w/ them was just AMAZING. Lauren and Nicole were always quick to respond w/ our questions, and always had great recommendations for us when we were not sure on things. WOW were we impressed with Shooby Doo Catering. They got amazing reviews on yelp.com so we scheduled a tasting (a fun $50 date night with the fiance, which is credited towards your package if you sign with them - which we did once we tasted the food). We had been to a handful of tastings and every one of them was "nice" wedding food, but Shooby Doo stole the show. My mouth is watering right now as I think about those lamb lollipops we had - yum! And they make everything so easy for you - what a great value. I would recommend them to anyone for any sort of food service (private dining or catering a huge wedding). Thank you Shooby Doo!!!

Delicious catering and excellent service!

This was our 2nd time working with Shooby-Doo Catering for a wedding of 125+ guests. The menu options were so varied it was fun to taste and choose, our selections were delicious and the presentation was lovely. Their events staff assists with coordination of all details, clearly and quickly communicating back/forth. The wait staff was excellent, showing great consideration and graciousness in their response to our guests. We highly recommend Shooby-Doo Catering and hope to work with them again in the future!

Delicious Foods

We decided to go with PACCAR Pavilion Olympic Sculpture Park for our wedding venue. Shooby Doo is the only exclusive catering vendor. The foods and drinks are delicious! A lot of options. Great portion and presentation. All the guests were very impressed.

Shooby Doo was awesome! Erin and Lauren were super responsive and helpful. The day of team was professional with a high attention to detail and the food, of course, was amazing. I have worked in catering all my life and they gave me complete confidence in their expertise and ability to execute. We received so many compliments from guests and of course loved it ourselves. The pork belly is SOOO GOOD! Couldn't have asked for a better team or final product.

Fantastic company and excellent food! We had Shooby Doo cater our wedding in April 2018. The menu selection is unusually extensive, the staff is very gracious, attentive and easy to work with. I didn't have to worry about anything - the set up or logistics, they did everything on time. The food was very delicious, cooked just right and presented in a sophisticated way. And yet, they're much more affordable than other companies I've considered. I highly recommend them to everyone

The two most important things we cared about for our wedding: food and alcohol. We basically picked our venue because of this caterer. After we went to their tasting - we were blown away and decided to bite the bullet and use Shooby. Best decision ever. Nearly all of our guests have come back to use telling us that this was by far not only the best wedding food they've had - but just some of the best food in general. We did a buffet style for 170 guests. Our menu had the braised pork belly, fish fillet, grilled asparagus, washington salad and some custom veggie pasta. Along with this our appetizers were the crab cakes, prosciutto wrapped prawns...

They helped with the transition from ceremony -> reception super quickly and everything was perfect. One thing to know is that they are on the pricier side but I would say it's 100% worth it if you care strongly about food quality. It's definitely worth the money imo. We have no regrets and even now we wish we could have some more of that pork belly.

We initially thought we wanted food trucks for our wedding, but quickly realized that we wanted a caterer who would provide more than just the food. Shooby Doo went above and beyond - they took care of the rentals, setup/cleanup for the ceremony & reception and even provided suggestions for our timeline! The food was DELICIOUS - We were looking forward to leftovers after the wedding, but found out our guests ate the majority of it. :) I highly recommend the truffle mac and cheese!

With Shooby Doo, you're also getting somewhat of a day-of coordinator. They helped keep the night on schedule, moved chairs and other decor around throughout the night, made sure we had food and drinks in the bridal suite right after the ceremony, and helped ensure everything was set up in the correct spots.

On top of all of that, the food was actually amazing. Many people went out of their way to comment on how great everything was. We did what I think was one of their cheapest buffet options, and it still blew the guests out of the water. I really can't say enough good things about them.

Will definitely use them for any catering needs in the future, and refer to friends!

I had them cater my engagement party at my parents home in Bothell. I also happen to work for a catering company myself in Florida, so I had pretty high expectations and I have to say they exceeded them all. The sales person I worked with Kelsey was very responsive and extremely helpful with all dietary needs for my menu both gluten free and vegetarian items. The staff that showed up on site was wonderful, very respectful, and made sure all of our needs were met. The food was also delicious! All of our guests loved it and he presentation was beautiful. I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone.

Our wedding was at Delille Cellars. They have a preferred catering list and if you deviated from the list they asked that you pay an additional 500.00 fee. I got several quotes and we tried a few different menus but I wasn't really excited about any of them. The food was good but it wasn't great and my family is made up of all foodies. After signing the contract we went ahead and did another tasting to decide on the final food list. We chose: Parmesan Tartlets; Potato Cups with Smoked Salmon, Sour Cream and Chives; Proscuitto Wrapped Prawns; and Crab Cakes for appetizers. For dinner, the guests had their choice of two salads: Spinach Salad or Berry Salad; and 3 entrees: Quartered Chicken finished with Lemon and Thyme; Filet Mignon with a Red Wine, Green Peppercorn Glaze; and Wild NorthWest Salmon with a Red Pepper Cream Sauce. The food was out of this world amazing!!!

As the RSVP's started to come in we had some issues with a couple guests that we didn't forsee. One woman was a vegetarian and we didn't know that, another was dairy free, while another was gluten free. Shooby Doo had no problem accommodating these requests and it was at no additional charge to us. I was shocked! They were so flexible!

When it came to rentals, they went above and beyond again! We were getting most of our rentals from Cort. However we weren't a fan of the tablecloths or napkins Cort had. Shooby Doo was willing to go all the way the Pederson's Rentals in south Seattle to pick up the tablecloths and napkins we fell in love with down there and return them for us! They are amazing!!!

We hired Shooby Doo Catering for our wedding and they were fantastic across the board! They offered ideas and suggestions that were perfect! The food was out of this world! Great price point! They were so thoughtful that they made me and my new husband, a plate of all the appetizers to eat while we signed out marriage license. My husband’s Aunt mentioned in passing to the chef that her husband had a slight allergy to Thyme, so she made a plate special for him, with items that did not have thyme without being asked or expected to do this. I also had some guests that had to take an elderly guest home as she was tired, the team made up plates for all the people so that when they returned food was already and hot for them! No that’s what I call going above and beyond!
For our dinner we had the Citrus Fennel Salad, Roasted Chicken, Braised Short Ribs, Gratin Fungi (amazing) and Seasoned Roasted Potatoes. Everything was just amazing! Everyone loved the food, even our picky eater. For dessert we had a lemon and vanilla bean cake that was so good, people were eating it for breakfast the next morning. For the guests we had mini apple, cherry and blackberry pies. I had a few guest eat one of each because they were so good!
I also got all my rentals though Shooby Doo, which made things so much easier for me! I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everything was dropped off, set up and then cleaned up, torn down and the next morning picked up by the rental company.

Shooby Doo Catering is simply the BEST. Shubert and his crew were confident, professional, and made our wedding day easy and stress-free. When planning the event, Shubert was prompt with responses, and open to the many different ideas and timelines that we were intent on using. His staff members were courteous and respectful, and always made sure we were happy throughout our wedding reception---and did so without being in our faces all the time. It was like he was two steps ahead of us always, and did everything before we even said anything! The food looked beautiful, tasted excellent, and was presented perfectly. The catering staff and Shubert were excellent...we couldn't have asked for more! I would highly recommend...

In addition, our wedding planner said Shubert and his team were a dream to work with - efficient, beautiful presentation, professional... We could not be happier! Shooby Doo Catering is the BEST.

My husband and I just had our wedding catered by Shooby Doo. We and our guests loved the food and LOVED the service. Shubert and his staff were extremely helpful and great to work with both the day of the wedding and in the process of planning it.

Shubert was always easy to get a hold of when we had a question or needed to make a change. He was great at accommodating specific requests, dietary restrictions, and so on, and he also gave us great advice on what sort of menu selections and rentals to choose. He allowed us to provide our own alcohol for the bar, and he helped us decide what and how much to...

My husband and I just had our wedding catered by Shooby Doo. We and our guests loved the food and LOVED the service. Shubert and his staff were extremely helpful and great to work with both the day of the wedding and in the process of planning it.

Shubert was always easy to get a hold of when we had a question or needed to make a change. He was great at accommodating specific requests, dietary restrictions, and so on, and he also gave us great advice on what sort of menu selections and rentals to choose. He allowed us to provide our own alcohol for the bar, and he helped us decide what and how much to buy. We always felt like he was helping us with issues we didn't even know we had--such a huge help during the planning process.

The day of the wedding, the service was incredible. Everything was smooth and effortless. They did everything: setting up the rentals, flipping the room between ceremony and reception, cleaning up the space and taking out the trash at the end of the night. We were even more impressed with their ability to respond quickly to requests that came up on the fly. We asked for a bottle of wine in the dressing room while I was getting ready, and it was there in just a couple minutes. We didn't think about bringing a cake knife and server, and we never mentioned it to Shubert, but they had us covered anyway.

We somehow managed to order only forks with our rentals--no knives. We just didn't notice that knives were left off the contract. It was our fault, but since a few of our guests had asked for knives and they hadn't brought any, they gave us a refund on our rental costs.

Our one minor complaint was that one of the bar tenders seemed pretty inexperienced. She needed instructions from our guests on fairly basic cocktails (an old fashioned, for example), and her single malt whiskey pours were way too large, so we ran out quickly. Neither would be a big deal, but our guests are pretty big booze snobs.

All the same, Shooby Doo was excellent, and we would highly recommend. Such a great caterer to work with, and the food is delicious!

All around great!

We were so happy with went with Shooby Doo for our wedding caterer! We worked with Ariana who was so helpful with guiding us through the whole process and super easy to communicate with. Shooby Doo helped us create an all-vegetarian menu for our wedding and was really flexible and helpful with finding a menu that would appeal to all our guests. They were very careful with tracking dietary restrictions and helped accommodate several guests with celiac by providing gluten free bread and adjusting some menu items to make them gluten free. We got so many compliments on the food from vegetarian and carnivore guests alike. Shooby Doo does a great job and we would definitely recommend them to anyone!

We hired Shooby Doo catering for our outdoor wedding. With many details to deal with to make this situation work with the space provided, they went above and beyond to ensure we had great service. We received nothing but compliments from everyone at the wedding about how awesome the food was. It was truly spectacular!

Wonderful food and choices

The food was beautiful and delicious. My only complaint was that all the guests didn’t get to have all the different choices and it was left up to the guests to get their own food, it was disorganized in that way. Because some guests were getting seconds before all tables were served. Also, As the wedding party and bride and groom, the wait staff should have brought us food, or I thought that was the plan and it didn’t happen. I only say this so maybe another couple could avoid this and give more straight forward direction. I saw a lot of staff just standing around instead of helping guests unless asked directly. But no one complained and the venue is stunning and over all an amazing day.
