  Rustic wedding

  Maria at Silver City was absolutely fantastic. Our wedding was an unbelievable experience that we will never forget. Not only were we able to enjoy a beautiful outdoor ceremony we were able to share the experience of a rustic barn and old town with our guests. Thank you Silver City!

  TALK OF THE TOWN
  Talk of the Town exceeded our expectations hand’s down! Their name is Talk of the Town for a reason and my personal experience verified it.
  1. Food was Incredible. From the taste-testing to the event presentation my family couldn’t have been more pleased. It was everything we were promised and more. Susan Mullaney and her staff were top notch - professional, on-time, well-mannered, well-dressed and very eager to make us happy. The true test was our guests who overwhelmingly commented on the quality of presentation, portions, and taste of the food.
  2. Communication, partnership and preparation was stellar. Talk of the Town left nothing to chance. Susan’s communication and support was fantastic (especially for a type-A, OCD-ish client like me). They continually prepared for and thought of all details. From planning to presentation (and the presentation of the food was superior) Talk of the Town was fantastic!
  3. Total Turn Key Event. There was literally nothing we had to do or be concerned with. It was totally turn-key for my family which meant we were free to enjoy the event and all our guests.
  
  SILVER CITY FARMS
  What can I say – Silver City Farms is simply incredible! Meticulous, rustic, farmhouse eye-candy! Silver City Farms is, by far, one of the best event venues I have seen and very reasonably priced. Virtually every person who attended commented on the allure of Silver City Farms as a venue – the grounds, the amazing attention to detail and its ability to keep our guests entertained, talking and exploring.
  Alyssa Causey was great pleasure to work with and fully deliver to our needs. She was extremely communicative and ensured we were satisfied. Special note: Alyssa introduced us to Wayne, one of property owners. Wayne, without doubt, was the highlight for my family. He and his partner built this property from the ground up and his stories are amazing. Wayne is a “must meet”.

  What an amazing event venue!
  From the moment you pull up, you forget where you are and fall in love with the beauty of the property. The pride the owner has for the property is apparent everywhere you look. The antique decor and stories of all the pieces add the uniqueness of the venue. We fell in love with the venue immediately. The intimacy of the bar/saloon made our 100+ guest wedding seem half the size.
  
  We cannot thank Silver City Farm enough for being our wedding venue.

  We had our wedding here in November of 2016 and we chose to do the inside of the facility for our ceremony! I can not say enough about the venue itself- it is absolutely perfect (both inside and out) our pictures came out flawless due to the beautiful surroundings of the pond, the barn, the arbors EVERYTHING!! The staff was beyond perfect, they worked with us again on EVERYTHING and they were all there to help with anything we needed. We are so glad we picked this venue and literally for us,nothing else compares.

  We absolutely love the venue! The owners are amazing and have worked with us for all of the dates. They have helped with any questions we have had in a quick email always responding the day I sent it. The venue is also amazing! It is the perfect place of a BBQ nice wedding and very nicely kept. The barn is already has a lot of character so very little decoration is needed. So excited to be getting married here!

  This venue is gorgeous and the staff was so easy to work which is what you want when planning a wedding or other event! Our only issue was that the bartender had just started and wasn't up to par with the other staff. I'm sure once he gets used to working events, he will be just as good as everyone else.

  This was a beautiful venue to hold a wedding.
  All of our guests loved the landscape.
  Even though it was super hot, the covered pavilion with fans gave a bit of relief from the heat.

  I got married at Silver City Farm in October of 2015. The only reason I give them the one star is because it is a beautiful venue. The staff, in particular the owner, Gary, was terrible to work with. He was fine up until he got all the money for our event.
  
  My main problems with this venue were:
  Had several meetings where we were told many things by the owner that were later changed. He could not remember what he had told us.
  We were told sparklers were totally fine, if we had a proper disposal method (we had a bucket and sand). Literally minutes before my husband and I were to exit (AFTER sparklers had been passed out to guests) Gary informed my father that they were a fire hazard and not allowed, even though in the contract it clearly said they were. He had also previously said they were allowed. This seems contradictory seeing as there is a fire pit on the premises.
  Was told multiple times that we would have the day before the wedding for as long as we needed for rehearsal or whatever we needed. I chose to use the time for rehearsing and setting up what could be done. We arrived at 5PM (about 45 minutes before we were to actually start rehearsing) and Gary told us we were not supposed to be there and we would have to pay for an extra day if we wanted to use the time to set up.
  Gary was very sensitive about the floors in his venue, especially the ones behind the bar. He has no means to keep drinks cool behind the bar besides a mini fridge which does not cool enough beverages for an event this size. My in-laws brought a rubber mat to put down under coolers so as to not mess up the floor. Later, he literally kicked the mat out the door from behind the bar.
  
  Overall, the venue is pretty, but not worth all of the hassle. The sparkler thing definitely put a damper on my night, causing me to cry because I was so angry. Gary is a very unprofessional man who needs help communicating. I would not recommend this venue to anyone.
