    I received an email tonight from Stephen who was concerned that a recent cancelled client was trashing him online. Someone who cancelled services and then threw a fit when he learned his deposit was non-refundable and wrote a scathing review. I don't know the details but just a quick read of his review and he seems like a whiner. Cancel services of course you lose a deposit.... everyone knows that, but whatever.
    Anyway, on to the good stuff. Stephen did our wedding in '07 and was amazing. He had clearly been working in wedding videography for a lot of years even then because he knew all the right places to be at all of the right times. The final video was so cool. Our guests hardly knew we had a videographer there, he was so unobtrusive. His professionalism and overall fun-to-be-around attitude was really appreciated. We watch our video every anniversary and it never gets old.
    We have booked them to video my daughters wedding in 2018.

    I really like their style, simple and elegant. I have seen a lot of photographers that really seemed over-the-top with crazy stylistic shots but i really appreciate the beauty of a simpler style. Its was refreshing.

    we were considering not having a videographer but are really glad that we did. I really like the fact that they offered documentary style options for us.
    We loved the final video and continue to watch it.

    We had a very unique wedding situation with two two full weddings. One eastern and one western. Silver Maple gave us a great price and did the video beautifully. The event was captured in exactly the way that we desired. The company was easy to work with and very professional at our events.

    My Husband and I used this company for our Vow Renewal. It was a great experience working with our videographer. Made us feel totally comfortable and at-ease. My husband was unsure of hiring a videographer but now that he has seen the video he is very much in agreement that we made a good choice.

    We were very pleased to find a videographer that still provides documentary videography. All the others wanted to make this "movie" of my day, I just wanted to see it as it naturally happened. We hardly knew they were there, they stayed out of the way and we loved that. We loved the footage that let us see all those parts of the day that just flew by.

    Couldn't have been more impressed with Silver Maple!
    When we saw the final video we were amazed. It is so incredible being able to relive our wedding day over and over. They captured all the best moments so tastefully. The crew was professional and polite. They captured it all while not getting in the way.

    I highly suggest getting the highlight video, it was great being able to put that on Facebook.
    We have referred several of our friends and they have had a great experience with them also.

    My husband and I used Silver Maple for our photography and videography in 2014. We had a very unique wedding and they captured if perfectly. Seeing my husband's reaction to the surprise I arranged at the reception was absolutely priceless. They did an amazing job.

    We love our video! We looked at a lot of studios and decided on this one as the best combination of quality and price. The final product exceeded our expectations. The videographer was polite and a pleasure to deal with.

    AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING. What a great choice it was to have the wedding videotaped. It was a last minute decision but it sure was a good one. Silver Maple made us a very nice video that we love. It is great for sharing with the family who could not be there. Having two cameras was a good choice too because it is nice seeing the different angles.

    We hired Silver Maple for our destination wedding in Cape Cod, USA. What an amazing find they were. Trying to book our vendors from England was challenging to say the least. They made the process very easy, I was able to do everything online and even manage my event via their web management system. They were pleasant and professional before, during and after the event.
    The final video (per our request) was delivered via an online download and it was absolutely amazing. The photos were uploaded for us to download. The digital delivery aspect was very important to us since we live in the UK.
    Overall they captured the flavour and style of our very unique wedding perfectly. We are very pleased.

    I am not one to write reviews but these guys really impressed us. I was so amazed that with out tiny budget that they were able to craft a package that suited out needs. We are thankful to have found this company.

    We ordered a documentary style edit and a highlight video from them. The regular video was cool but the highlight video was the best. We loved being able to share it with our family overseas via the internet.

    They showed up and got amazing footage of me getting ready. I never thought I would enjoy the prep footage that much but the way they put it together was so cool. the ceremony was done with three cameras which looked amazing. At my request they did guest interviews. Instead o going around table to table they had a videographer set up outside in the hall and invited people to be interviewed. I think that was a fantastic idea. Very happy with our DVD.

    Amazing..They exceeded our expectations and we have high expectations. They put together a perfect edit that captured our day perfectly. I felt they took the time to make it match our style and personality.

    The people at Silver Maple were amazing. They did videography for our wedding. Our whole family loved the video and we still watch it, and I cry ;-).

    We are grateful to have found this company. We had become very discouraged as to just how prohibitively expensive have videography at put wedding was. The prices were awesome and the video was done perfectly. I like that they really seemed to listen to our input in how we wanted our video.

    While in the end the product we FINALLY received was good, it took a long time to actually get it. Let me back up...

    We worked with Alex from Silver Maple Studios and while he was professional, on time etc on the actual wedding day, it took literally months for us to receive the DVD's (with all necessary components included). Following the wedding, Alex never told us he needed any songs from us to sync any video to, we just assumed he would pick something. We only found out about this requirement after my husband emailed him asking the status of the DVD's since we hadn't heard anything from him since our October wedding.

    After providing some music, Alex made US edit down the speeches by providing start-end times on a Dropbox file he sent us. Weeks later, we received an initial copy of the DVD's however while the quality was good, they were missing cake cutting and dancing. Alex told us he doesn't usually include dancing because it's "boring" but didn't know why cake cutting wasn't in there. I guess he never proof watched the DVD...

    Instead of just picking some fun dancing clips, he again told us to pick out parts we wanted included in the DVD. To us, that was equivalent of our photographers showing us 1500 photos and telling us to pick the best ones. We thought that was part of his job. So my husband and I spent about 2 hours each going through the enormous video file on Dropbox and picking fun dancing to be included. Weeks passed and we never heard from him.

    FINALLY, on March 28, 2016, 171 days after our wedding, we received acceptable DVD's.

    I'm not usually one to write such a harsh review about a vendor but your wedding is a once in a lifetime day and I wouldn't want another bride or groom to go through the headache we did; we'd advise you to look elsewhere.
