I'm so sorry to hear that your experience at Silver Springs State Park did not meet your expectations. We began a formal review of our event processes and planning procedures when you initially contacted us in November. Since then, we have enacted changes to ensure continual communications with the events team, proactive communications with the client, increased staffing to work events and clarification and event processes and procedures.

We have restructured our event management team. I am leading all events at Silver Springs State Park (and am available for my clients through text, call, or email any time of day). We have also added seven employees to our events staff. These team members are responsible for setting up, breaking down, and cleaning the rented space both before and after a wedding. This is now a standard service for of our wedding packages.

We have developed a 12-page wedding guide to provide clients with all of the options, packages and details as well as clearly stating our policies and procedures. Our event planning and contract processes have been structured to communicate updates to the entire team. Contracts can’t be altered without acknowledgement by all parties.

Again, I am so sorry for the inconvenience and service you experienced. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. While it is not always easy, we are grateful to hear about how we can improve, and we feel confident that because of your feedback, we have resolved these issues that you faced going forward.
