Loved working with Simi!
The photos Simi took for our wedding are unbelievably gorgeous -- and working with him was fun, easy, and affordable.
We first met him on our engagement shoot, which was included as a part of his wedding package. We're not always the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Simi made us both feel comfortable throughout. He spent a lot of time with us and the photos he took during that shoot were the best photos of us we'd ever seen... until we got the photos back from the wedding, that is.
He was the only photographer for our wedding (no team), so we were honestly shocked by the number of different angles and moments he...The photos Simi took for our wedding are unbelievably gorgeous -- and working with him was fun, easy, and affordable.
We first met him on our engagement shoot, which was included as a part of his wedding package. We're not always the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Simi made us both feel comfortable throughout. He spent a lot of time with us and the photos he took during that shoot were the best photos of us we'd ever seen... until we got the photos back from the wedding, that is.
He was the only photographer for our wedding (no team), so we were honestly shocked by the number of different angles and moments he was able to capture. We were delighted to see so many beautiful moments we didn't get to experience firsthand as the couple -- seeing friends and family connecting, hugging, laughing and tearing up the dance floor. Multiple family members also said they were surprised by all the photos, because they barely noticed him taking them.
We had an extremely tight timeframe for friends and family portraits, as well as our own portraits -- but Simi made it work and somehow everyone came out looking great. And the photos that Simi took of the two of us are the best photos of us that we've ever seen. Some of them are really art.
We got our wedding photos back right as we were spending time with our families over Thanksgiving, so we spent the weekend reliving our wedding day with our parents. Looking the photos, it feels like he captured not only our wedding, but us too.
As you can tell, we can't recommend him enough! -

Amazing .
Amazing. Easy to work with, professional, relaxed, and captured tons of amazing photos. Couldn't say enough good things about his work, and I'm glad we picked him because now we have these amazing memories of our special day forever! We really loved his style, he captured tons of amazing moments not just of us but of our guests and venue and decorations.
Part of me would consider getting divorced just so I could get married and hire Simi again. He was that good.Amazing. Easy to work with, professional, relaxed, and captured tons of amazing photos. Couldn't say enough good things about his work, and I'm glad we picked him because now we have these amazing memories of our special day forever! We really loved his style, he captured tons of amazing moments not just of us but of our guests and venue and decorations.

Super Amazing
Simi was incredible. I think the quality of Simi's photos and joy you can see captured in them absolutely speaks on its own in his portfolio, and working with him was amazing. He was able to capture many very natural moments, and he was so personable and easy to talk with before the wedding. And when he says 'unobtrusive' at the wedding and reception, he means he is like a ninja-- I'm in some of these photos (and they look amazing) and even I'm asking myself, when did he take this photo?! I didn't even see him??? Additionally, the online galleries Simi sent to us after the wedding were very nicely categorized, and easy to share.
I am still absolutely speechless...Simi was incredible. I am still absolutely speechless at all of the photos and can't stop smiling when I look at them and remember all of the happy moments of the day. I feel very lucky and grateful he was available for our wedding day. His pricing was incredibly competitive as well, and he was very flexible when we asked for changes (re: additional time at wedding).
Everyone we have showed photos to has complimented our choice of photographer, saying Simi did an amazing job, and that everyone looks so genuinely happy. I cannot say enough nice things about Simi and his work, especially since his photos are something we will be able to cherish and share long after the wedding. -

Amazing Photos of Our Day!
Having Simi photograph our wedding was a dream come true. He got every shot and location we wanted + even more. Amazing Photos and Great to Work With!!
Simi captured such amazing photos both in our engagement shoot and on our wedding day! Looking back at the photos, he did an amazing job capturing our personalities and the personalities of our guests. The candid pictures of our guests laughing and dancing will be one's that I'll treasure forever. My husband is an amateur photographer, and was very particular during the hiring process. The fact that he was so happy with the photos really says a lot. Simi is a true professional!Simi captured such amazing photos both in our engagement shoot and on our wedding day! Easy to Work With and Perfectly Priced
When I was looking for photographers it was between Simi and one other person in the Boston area. Since I don't live in MA, Simi agreed to meet with the parents to go over his process and show them some examples of his work. They were more than impressed!
Coming from a big southern family, my parents really wanted portrait photos. Although some photographers want to stay away from stand and look at me, Simi made what is normally very boring, into playful and memorable. During the reception, he went table to table with the groom and me to make sure all of our guests were in at least one photo, weird request but he didn't mind!

Although he was supposed to leave following the bouquet toss, he stayed a little longer and asked if I wanted any more photos before he left, a true sign of his character :) The groom and I have not seen any wedding photos but if they are anything like our engagement photos, I am going to be blown away.
Simi is the type of photographer that can adapt to any situation and make people who hate photos of themselves pleasantly surprised at how good they look! Besides being a great person, his price is the best in town. I was able to have an engagement shoot with Simi prior to the wedding and now that the wedding is complete, he is working on a photo album so that I have something to look at any day I want.
Thank you Simi for working with our quirky family! If only we had more events for you to photographer :)

Best Wedding Photographer
Simi was phenomenal to work with on our wedding day. His eye for pictures and attention to detail were astounding. Numerous wedding guests commented on how quickly, quietly and efficiently he worked the wedding. We heard several people mention how impressed they were that he was constantly monitoring the lightening, assessing the weather outside and always on the look out for the perfect shot. He was very professional and organized.
It was a breeze to work with Simi. He was quick to respond and easily approachable. He is very organized in his approach and presented us with a comprehensive wedding package. We started with an engagement photography session which gave us the opportunity to get to know Simi,...Simi was phenomenal to work with on our wedding day. He showed up to the location early and had already scouted out some great areas to take some pictures. As some of my friends or husband might attest, I am not a big fan of having my picture taken but he made this engagement session fun and relaxing and the pictures were stunning!
In the weeks leading up to the wedding he presented us with a photography shot list. We found this incredibly helpful as we had not yet thought too much about the “must have” photos that we wanted. He used this list as a guide on our wedding day to take pictures of the special moments we requested. His focus was always on the wants or needs of the bride and the groom. He was quick to finalize our wedding photos and we were thoroughly impressed with his work. It was such a special moment looking through our wedding photos together, Simi really took the time to capture the event in its entirety. If you are looking for a skilled wedding photographer with a keen eye, I would highly recommend Simi.

Amazing Photographer - Highly Recommend!

Simi came to meet us and also knew EXACTLY where to go to get beautiful and unique...Where do I even begin. He has an amazing eye and he captured the tone of our wedding day perfectly. We already got the pictures back and they are stunning. They look like they could be right out of a magazine. I knew that they would were beautiful, but it is awesome to hear form so many other friends, family ( and random people on Facebook) how absolutely stunning they are. I could not be happier with choosing Simi to be our photographer for our wedding day. I would HIGHLY recommend Simi- if I could rate him higher that 5 stars, I definitely would. My husband and I could not have been happier with our decision to hire Simi Rabinowitz to photograph our wedding. We had looked extensively through the Wedding Photojournalist Association's (WPA) list of photographers, and Simi's photographs stood out as some of the most striking and beautiful, in our minds beating out much more expensive photographers' photos. We met with him soon afterwards and discovered he is not only a terrific photographer, but also a really nice and down-to-earth guy. He offered us a complimentary engagement photo session as a chance for us to get to know each other. Needless to say, the engagement pictures turned out amazing, and we were excited to have him for our wedding. He got all the portraits that we asked of him, and spent the rest of the time being a fly on the wall snapping tons of candid photos. Simi was completely unobtrusive. Clearly drawing on his experience as a nature photographer, he quietly let our magical day unfold and expertly captured it. When he sent us the photos a few weeks later, we were stunned. There were hundreds of photos, each offering a different glimpse into our wedding, and each truly spectacular. Simi is an artist, and there is a reason he is listed as one of the top photographers on the WPA's website. His photos capture some of the more delicate and raw emotions on people's faces: delight, joy, silliness, and happiness. None of the smiles were those fake ones you see people making for posed pictures. It's hard for us to figure out how one single person was able to capture so many special moments. We laugh that he must have been all over the place, yet neither we nor our parents noticed him most of the night. I could go on and on about how great Simi is, but I'll just end it at this: Simi is an incredible photographer and he'll be great for your wedding. Hire him now before he gets booked up! -

I can't recommend Simi highly enough. He was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond our expectations. My husband and I had our engagement shots in the public garden and they came out beautifully. He was there waiting for us when we arrived, made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process and had some really creative shot ideas. On our wedding day it rained so I gave up pretty much all hope of getting any good outside shots, but Simi was able to get some really nice ones of us outside during a few short breaks in the rain, he even used the rain to his advantage, with some pictures showing some really creative shots of the rain...I can't recommend Simi highly enough. He was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond our expectations. My husband and I had our engagement shots in the public garden and they came out beautifully. He was there waiting for us when we arrived, made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process and had some really creative shot ideas. I should also say that my husband and I are not exactly photogenic and aren't comfortable being in the spot light, but our pictures came out gorgeous and we felt comfortable the entire time. My husband and I interviewed several other photographers (charging nearly double what Simi does), but the quality and creativity of their work was nowhere near Simi's. He added so much to our wedding and now we have all these beautiful photos that we will have forever. I am so pleased with Simi and would recommended him highly to anyone. -

Simi was the photographer for our wedding. He was so easy to work with! I initially wanted Simi to photograph our wedding because I loved the emotion and artistic eye he was able to bring into each shot. When we started to communicate with him, whether it was in person, email or phone, Simi was always so responsive and made us feel like we were his #1 priority (even though we knew what a busy guy he was). Our first shoot with him was for our engagement photos. It was extremely awkward at first since my husband and I are NOT professional models, but Simi was able to give us direction and got us to relax so we could...Simi was the photographer for our wedding. We ended up using one of the pictures for our save the dates because we liked them so much. On the day of the wedding, Simi was prompt and extremely thorough! He was able to capture every single minute detail that I worked so hard at putting together when I didn't even ask him to. During the day he was also so elusive, almost like a ninja, that at the end of the night when he said goodbye I almost forgot he was even there! When we were finally able to see the photos I became obsessed with them! I think I have looked at them over 50 times because I love them so much! He was able to capture all of these amazing moments that I was not privy to on the day of the wedding. I can't help but look through all of the pictures while smiling from ear to ear every time. I would suggest Simi to anyone and everyone who is planning on getting married. I am beyond pleased with our entire experience and photographs that we got from him. One day when we have kids, we'll definitely be contacting him for family portraits! Thanks Simi! -

Simi was wonderful! He came highly recommended from a family friend and exceeded all expectation. He was very professional and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. He got some great shots and his wife Judy also came and helped pose us and our wedding party-they made a great team. Would highly recommend Simi to anyone. His package, which I found reasonable compared to some photographers I looked into, also included a nice hardcovered photobook which had 120 photos. Thank you Simi!!Simi was wonderful! On the actual wedding, Simi was awesome, he was able to add to excitement and take high quality photos. Simi captured all of the important moments during the wedding. We're really excited for our book. The draft was completed promptly and the layout looks great. He was both creative and flexible - and while he blended into the background at the wedding, he also got some amazing shots and was able to get people to do what he needed them to do (like line up and smile!). From our very first telephone conversation, we knew Simi would be the perfect photographer for our wedding - and we were right! We wanted a non-traditional wedding and needed our photographer to understand our hopes and be flexible as the day unfolded. Simi's personality was perfect in capturing our day - he is very professional, but also has a laid back personailty so there was no pressure added to our day. Simi took amazing photos throughout the day and truly captured the happiness in our faces and the fun had by all. Simi was the photographer for our engagement pics and for our wedding. He was on time and very professional. He took amazing shots of the entire day, including our dog, Marvin, as he sat and watched us get ready. He was very nice and polite.
