    NYE Wedding

    Can't say enough good things about Kelli, Esther, Nicole and the team at Simply Beautiful Events, literally helped create the best day of our lives, not sure what we would have done without them - we consider them family now!

    Simply Beautiful Events was amazing from start to finish. Without Kelli and her crew, we would have struggled to get everything done on time. It was so wonderful to know that we would have nothing to worry about at all.

    Initially, our planning began without her so we can say that we know what it is like to have no help to having all the help we needed.

    In addition, she worked around our budget and helped us stick to it. She didn't say we HAD to do anything and she didn't say well you CAN'T do that. We gave her a glimpse of what we wanted and she made it happen.

    We would highly recommend her and her staff to anyone!

    The best coordination with good taste and original ideas. She listens and adapts to your needs. On the actual day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about anything, every little detail was taken care of, from the guests to the DJ, it was wonderful.

    Creative, perfectionist, flexible, and fun - a perfect combo!

    My husband and I are so thrilled we found Kelli and her team. We got married in July 2018 and wanted to include some non-traditional elements like vinyl wall art, neon signs, and a disco-elevator, as well as things like seating vignettes and unique escort cards. We had millions of ideas and really needed someone to help us edit and execute. Kelly did a great job of connecting with our vision, and helping us to make it classy and stylish. We changed our minds and plans along the way at several points, and Kelly was flexible and patient with us, always willing to update our quote and help us meet our budget. Kelli's team helped us coordinate with other vendors, set up a mover when we needed one, and her amazing late night team pulled off the ultimate miracle in getting our space looking exactly as we hoped for our big day! No matter the moving parts or the logistics, Kelli and her team made it happen. We felt like we were in the hands of an expert, and someone who executes flawlessly.     Chris and I found Kelli Berg and Simply Beautiful Events by an intensive google search. At the time, we were living in Boston and the thought of planning a long distance wedding was not only unrealistic but unimaginable. One phone conversation with Kelli and I knew she was fantastic. She listened, she encouraged me to send photo inspirations, and most importantly, she stuck to our budget while making our wedding come to life. Kelli definitely gives it her all to her clients. The week leading up to the big day, Kelli and her team were at our side and made time for everything. She knows the wedding business, and her confidence proves it.

    During the event, Kelli and her team make the whole day easy. I was able to relax with my girls, enjoy the moments of anticipation, and not have to stress about the small details. The ceremony was planned to the detail but still had the feel of an informal event (my liking!). During the reception, Kelli was never far, you name it: candles light, mother of the groom fed, father of the bride beer in hand, my dress cared for, the vendors on point. To say I was impressed is an understatement.

    Long story short, she is worth every penny spent!

    Kelli was great to work with and made even the most stressful planning parts easier. At some times it seemed as though she had a lot of other brides she was workign with at the same time so meeting times were difficult to schedule or she would be getting confused with something she was doing for another bride. However, all in all had a great experience and our wedding day was flawless, the event was beautiful and Kelli was enjoyable to work with throughout the process.

    **Would definitely NOT recommend this company**
    Kelli did make our wedding beautiful BUT she messed up on so many things. I think she may be in over her head, taking on too many events at once and not being able to give each event the attention deserved for the amount of money she charges. I ended up having to do a lot of the work myself before the wedding because she was apparently too busy. She decided to do another event the night before our wedding and did not come to our rehearsal, and she did not fill in the woman that took her place that night, so it was a disaster (and pointless). Furthermore, she did not follow my instructions and made MANY mistakes, going WAY out of the budget (over 10K), delivering gift boxes to the wrong hotels, not telling the string trio to play the correct music, telling me to buy toasting glasses but not arranging for champagne at the wedding, and not initiating a bouquet toss. These are just a few of the many mistakes (my list is too long for this review). She really does not care about price so I would only pick her if I had an endless amount of money to spend and had no personal preference (since Kelli really only wants to do things her way.) Beware: She will charge you a ton of money for linen rentals, lighting, etc. from her own company ($55 per tablecloth?!). **She also favors vendors over the bride and groom's preferences.** She is also REALLY BAD at returning phonecalls and emails and she DOESN'T DO WHAT SHE SAYS SHE'LL DO. On top of all of this, when I called her out on (some) things, she never apologized or tried to fix it, but instead said she didn't know, even though I remember specifically telling her MULTIPLE TIMES. I really regret choosing her and I hope that she is better to other brides, because I unfortunately did not have a good experience with her.

    Edit: After writing this review, I asked Kelli to send me the contracts and noticed even more mistakes. She made a mistake with the florist in which we were OVERCHARGED by OVER $500!! because she gave them the wrong table count. Kelli refuses to reimburse me for this, so I made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They also threw out our cakes toppers.

    I can understand 1 or 2 or maybe even 5 mistakes, but more than 10??!! What a terrible planner!! AND she still never even sincerely apologized or tried to make up for it. DISGUSTING
