Amazing Team, Best Investment
Before seeing Jita and her team in action, I wasn't totally sure what a wedding coordinator did that my friends and I couldn't manage for themselves. After seeing how Jita handled vendor management, setup, moving smoothly through our schedule, and ensuring that everything looked gorgeous without my having to lift a finger, I have absolutely no idea what we would have done without her! Jita listened carefully to all our requests and made our day so easy, and the Simply Bliss team made our venue flawless and ensured that our wedding party was able to enjoy our day with us instead of being assigned to chores. I am so grateful for the service provided and I would say to any other brides or grooms on the fence about hiring a coordinator: first, you ABSOLUTELY should, and second, I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than Jita and Simply Bliss. -

Jita was simply amazing. Trying to plan a wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic was extremely difficult and she was able to help me navigate all of the cancellations and plan changes with ease. On the day of, my wedding turned out exactly how I imagined. My table settings were gorgeous and surpassed by expectations. All in all, I would highly recommend Jita for wedding planning. She was invaluable to me and our big day wouldn't have been as amazing as it was without her. -

Not only is Jita a gem of a person, she is lovely to work with, super responsive and loves the joy of weddings! Jita is a great day of coordinator to work with, especially if getting married at The Water Oasis. She works for the venue and really knows this beautiful place inside and out. Jita wants you (as the bride) to have the best day ever, and is very helpful answering questions, giving ideas and more! I loved working on the planning with Jita. We got the timeline planning done in great time and were constantly in touch via text, call or email. Jita is someone who just loves LOVE! She does this work because she enjoys it and after working with her over these months, I just adore her. We got married at The Water Oasis last weekend. Thanks again, Jita! -

Paid for Full Planning & Design services, for a wedding NOT at the Water Oasis
Pre-Wedding: As per our contract (and Ranjita’s website), we were to receive the following services during the Pre-Wedding stages, however, this was our experience:
-- Vendor recommendations: Ranjita gave us a few recommendations for each vendor, and then my husband and I would research vendors if the recommendations did not fit our needs. As one example, Ranjita gave us one caterer recommendation that was half our total budget. We asked for further recommendations but was told this was the best priced catering vendor out there. My husband and I found a different caterer that fit our budget needs and provided everything we were looking for.
-- Vendor management and communications:
Ranjita managed our rentals well when their transportation was threatened by snow.
Ranjita managed our florals well, and personally returned floral rental items.
Ranjita helped us find a backup venue the week of when our venue may have had to close (due to snow)
Vendors were not completed being booked until a month out from the wedding. We started working with Ranjita a year before our wedding. As was told to us, vendors would take weeks or sometimes months responding to her emails, since we had a lower priority winter wedding. However, when my husband or I would personally email a vendor, we generally got a response or quote update within a couple days.
-- Creating timeline, Floor Plan Assistance, Design Concept, Full wedding checklist: We did not receive assistance from Ranjita with any of these items. My husband and I created a timeline, floor plan, design concept, and checklist without assistance.
-- Access to planning app: Ranjita did not give us a planning app.
-- Tracking budget: Ranjita did not help track our budget, or keep it in mind throughout her suggestions. We communicated with her early on our budget concerns, and she did not have recommendations of more budget-friendly ideas. My husband and I ended up spending twice the budget we had communicated to her.
-- Unlimited pre- wedding consultations: Almost every meeting we had scheduled with Ranjita, she had needed to reschedule. After meetings, she would often forget tasks she said she’d complete - even after we started sending her notes after the meetings
-- Directing Rehearsal: Ranjita did not direct rehearsal. My husband and I directed rehearsal, and when we asked her questions she seemed confused and looked to us for direction.
Wedding Day: As per our contract (and Ranjita’s website), we were to receive the following services during the Wedding Day stages, however, this was our experience:
-- Full setup of Head table, Ceremony, Reception: Ranjita set up part of the ceremony (backdrop of trees and a few tablecloths) while our family set up the rest of the ceremony and reception. We communicated with her verbally, written, and in print a checklist of setup needs. Some vendors mistook my mom as the coordinator. Some vendors helped with the setup when they saw my family struggling to finish. I was told later that Ranjita stood talking with her crew after they set up the trees.
-- Event Management: Ranjita sat in the vendor’s back room throughout the reception. We saw her once when she asked if we wanted to remove a table. We told her to remove the table in a few minutes. The table was never removed.
-- Handing out checklist/ Maps to all Vendors: We did not receive assistance from Ranjita on a checklist or map.
-- Ranjita wore sweatpants to our formal wedding, although attire was not specified in our contract with her.
