  Great work

  Was very easy to work with, provided a wide variety of cookies (wanted a cookie table for my wedding instead of a cake), and was one of my easiest vendors.

  Delicious and elegant cakes!

  Maryann makes the most elegant, delicious cakes. We really enjoyed the cake tasting so proceeded to order a cake. It came out absolutely gorgeous. Maryann is very considerate and generous and helped me with advice on decorations, etc. I appreciated working with her so much. Be sure to check out her website and Facebook for photos - her cakes are just gorgeous and just as delicious!

  We are not big dessert people, but we LOVED the desserts at our wedding! Maryann made the most delicious cake, whoopie pies, cupcakes, and cookies, and they were beautiful too. She also was the only baker we talked to who could guarantee that we wouldn't have any problems with a serious nut allergy (including cross-contamination), and she even made a sign saying the desserts were nut-free. She must have totally cleaned out her kitchen before making our desserts. We are so grateful for her amazing work and delicious desserts!

  We were so pleased with the wedding cake Maryann Kane created for my daughter's wedding. I called her several times prior to the wedding to discuss ideas and options, and each time, MaryAnn willingly listened to my ideas and answered any questions I had. My daughter and her fiance enjoyed their own private cake tasting at MaryAnn's home, which helped them decide on the cake flavor they preferred. One of the reasons we decided on MaryAnn is her use of a true buttercream frosting for her cakes, and we can attest to the fact that her cakes are both beautiful and delicious! We also found her pricing to be quite reasonable compared to many others. MaryAnn makes it a point to personally deliver the cake to the wedding venue and insure that it is placed appropriately, which we appreciated. We are very pleased we chose Simply Elegant Cakes by MaryAnn!

  Maryann is extremely talented and a pleasure to work with! Her cakes are delicious, her designs are exquisite, and her creativity is unparalleled.   The BEST lemon cupcake I have ever had. We also had MaryAnn bring dozens of cookies for our guests to enjoy. While they were all amazing, her raspberry bars were to die for! She brought the extra cupcakes to my guest room for my bridesmaids to enjoy before the wedding. Excellent service!

  Maryann did our cake for our wedding in July and it was SO delicious and incredibly beautiful!! It came out even better than I imagined and everyone kept commenting on how good it was. Also, she is great for the price! Way better than the pricey guys.

  Maryann was very accomodating. She listened to what we were envisioning for our wedding cake, then showed us photo samples of cakes she had done in the past that were similar. She described how she would make and deliver the cake to us and had told us we’d have plenty of leftovers after the wedding, as she makes her cakes large enough for leftovers. The cake looked absolutely beautiful at the reception with fresh flowers from our florist and Maryann’s silver cake stand. The cake was very good, however, we were disappointed that we didn’t get any leftovers. The wedding coordinator said it was because it was crumbling a lot as they were cutting it, so they lost some of the cake, but who knows. It wasn’t a big deal to me, but I swear my husband only married me so he could have wedding cake (haha!), so he was a little upset.
