  Hiring a Day of Coordinator was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding process. Joelle was assigned to my wedding and she did a fabulous and efficient job. Even though she was my "Day of Coordinator, " I was able to start meeting and talking with her 3 months leading up to the wedding. She went on final meetings with me and my other vendors and she was able to create a thorough timeline with all the detail for the entire day.
  
  On the day of the wedding, she came prepared with a kit to fix anything. (I had gotten a makeup stain on my white shoe that she got right out). She also kept every person in my wedding party and my family on time and on task. She helped with arranging my centerpieces and decor at the reception. If anything went wrong, I did not even know about it because Joelle was able to take care of everything. It allowed my mom and sister to enjoy the day as well!
  
  I would definitely recommend this company as they do a great job and they are priced well. My mom and I cannot say enough good things about how helpful Joelle was to the whole wedding day.

  Melissa is an absolute dream to work with! We purchased a day-of package, where she organized and handled everything 2 months prior to and the day of the wedding. I never thought that I would have needed so much help, but she made everything so much easier. Her attention to detail really helped make everything go as smoothly as possible. I wont lie, when she sent out a schedule of events that was planned down to the last 10-minutes on our wedding day, I did not think everything would go that smoothly. However, everything was on time and was perfect!! This degree of detail oriented attentiveness really could not have been done by anyone else. Melissa really made me feel special on our big day, and our event always seemed like the only thing on her mind -- even though we both knew she was busy with so many other events. We really could not have done it without her, and I can't recommend her enough!!

  I do not know how I would have survived without Laura Kolodzinski from Simply Perfect. I could not believe how much help and services she provided with the "Day of Coordinator" package---priceless work! She was very helpful in the few months prior to the wedding with suggestions and coordination with vendors. She was always open and flexible with meeting times. We were so happy with her professionalism, calmness and patience. I loved her itineraries she created for the bridal party/family and master for bride and groom---extremely helpful. We were so grateful for her making our wedding day flow so well and take the stress away from us.

Melissa was organized, professional, and a wonderfully calming presence on my wedding day. She made sure that everything went off without a hitch, and I didn't have to be at all responsible for keeping the day on schedule because she was on top of it. She made sure that my parents were able to enjoy the event that they had worked so hard to plan, and she took so many things off my to-do list that would have been stressful for me to deal with. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

If you need someone to pinch every penny out of a small budget, manage many details, have special circumstances, are very picky, have a large budget, but want a really amazing, unique wedding, or anything in between, she is your gal. There is no way my wedding would have come together so perfectly without her help.

  I hired Melissa to be my Day of Coordinator. While I knew I wanted to do the planning, I wanted to be able to just show up and have a great time on the day of not having to worry about any of the details. Melissa did an amazing job of ensuring that was exactly what happened. I was able to provide her all the details, and stuff for set up, and she created a detailed timeline, ran the rehersal, ensured the reception room was set up perfect, got everyone in the right place at the right time, and kept us on time (which is hugely important). She also made sure to take care of all our gifts, other "stuff" and packed up our car when we were headed home. She had an assistant with her that day that did a great job as well. I think Melissa is worth her weight in gold. My family, my husband's family and we didn't have to do anything but enjoy the day. She worked so hard and did a fantastic job.

  There's so many wonderful things I can say about Melissa Philips. I contacted her before I got engaged for some planning advice and upon getting engaged she was right there, excited and eager to hear what I wanted and to help me make it happen.
  Not only is Melissa professional, courteous and completely knowledgeable- she is easy to talk to, warm and fun! Definitely great qualities when discussing your wedding! You also feel like her only client- even though she is hugely busy. I never once felt like I didn't have her full attention or that I wasn't her first priority.
  Also- she is understanding of budgets, timelines and family affairs that all come up naturally during the wedding planning process.

  I did not personally care for her, she is lacking in client service and is not all that pleasant to work with. It seems like she over extends herself with too many clients/brides and is very unresponsive to questions and concerns. I booked her because I read her reviews on weddingwire and saw that she contributed to some magazines. However, that was a poor decision and I suggest that if someone is looking for a good wedding coordinator, go by personal referral from a friend. I would not recommend her to any of my friends. One of my main regrets during the wedding process is not going with a wedding coordinator who was more suited to my personality and expectations.

  Out of all of our vendors this is the one vendor who not only did I have the worst interaction with, but my guests and family also complained about. Things were going good until about three weeks before the wedding when I emailed her on a Thursday afternoon and didn't hear anything back until Tuesday. And with me planning the wedding from out of state and most of my bridal party being out of state I needed to get out the bridal party letters and packets ASAP. Since I didn't hear from her I created my own and got that out to the them-something that I was really relying on her to do as I was not only at the last minutes of planning-but was also wrapping up work stuff for the three weeks I would be gone. Once we got past that-the days leading up tot he wedding weren't much better. I had to intervene between her assistant and the priest at the church as on the day of rehearsal, she tried to tell the priest how to run his show. The day of was not much better-we had guests who asked what to do with gifts and were told very rudely that it was not in her contract to deal with gifts. The assistant looking at the must shoot sheet walking around the church asking for the father of the groom, instead of Father Matt the priest-which wouldn't have been a big deal except the father of the groom is deceased! My dress was not completely unbustled by Melissa and her assistant so my train was not as long as it was supposed and I was tripping over part up as I walked down the aisle. The list could go on and on! I am so lucky I did not completely rely on Melissa and that I had other vendors able to step in where she feel short. The only reason I gave her a D instead of an F was because through her I found our lighting vendor and ordered my invites and because I forgot to pu ton my garter and she went searching in my suitcase for it.
