  As a planner, perfectionist, and control freak myself, I didn't think that a wedding coordinator was necessary because I usually handle everything on my own. However, my husband and I decided that a day-of wedding coordinator would most definitely be worth the money, as we wanted to enjoy our entire wedding day and not worry about the MANY behind-the-scenes parts that the day entails. We are not from the Tyler area, so we had to do some research and discovered Simply Yours by Design. What a fantastic business Deann has! We could not have asked for a better day-of wedding coordinator. Deann made our wedding day the easiest, smoothest, most wonderful day of our lives. As the bride and groom, we were overwhelmed and didn't get to see every little thing that went on at our ceremony and reception, but our friends and family bragged on how thorough, kind, and helpful Deann was from the beginning of the day to the end of the night. Our wedding day was completely stress-free thanks to Deann. If you find yourself questioning the necessity of a wedding coordinator, just book Deann! I have so many great things to say about her that I can't even put them all into words...seriously she is the best. So, THANK YOU, Deann. We wish you nothing but continued success!

  Our daughters wedding was a picture perfect event because of the help of Deann, Robin and Brynn. From the first planning session to the last personal item from the reception packed away, these ladies were fantastic. As Mother of the Bride, I was able to enjoy the day without worry!

  Deanna was so amazing. Not only did she save us by recommending catering and an officiant (that were both amazing), but she even went as far to make sure she knew how my dress was bustled. I have no doubts that without her our big day would not have been half as amazing as it was. She was so helpful and professional throughout the entire process. As our Day of Coordinator she was very down to business and must have been pulling some serious strings as I still dont know of anything that went wrong. She was so organized and attended every meeting we had with vendors to ensure we were taken care of. I am so glad she was part of our big day.

  Deann is absolutely wonderful!!! When I spoke with her on the phone I knew she was the planner for me! I had not originally planned to have a wedding coordinator, and I am so glad I did!
  Deann was professional from start to finish. I had only 3 months to plan my wedding, and she was so patient with me through the entire process of originally planning to have a wedding at home and then changing it a month in to a venue. To say I was incredibly thankful to have Deann is an understatement! She went above and beyond in working with the vendors to make my wedding perfect!! I didn't lift a finger the day of my wedding. Deann and her crew worked hard to make everything beautifully perfect! Deann had a positive and professional demeanor toward my groom- who at the time did not understand why we needed a wedding coordinator. After our wedding, my groom raved on and on about how perfect everything was and after attending several weddings where there wasn't a coordinator- my groom remarked how unorganized and stressful it is not to have an incredible planner like Deann.
  Deann is the absolute best! You can't go wrong with her and her team!! In my eyes, she is the only wedding planner for East Texas!

  A "Godsend" is the first thought that comes to mind about our experience with Deann Robertson, owner of "Simply Yours By Design" - Wedding & Event Specialist in Tyler, TX. One month before Katelyn and Michael's wedding, our photographer, Krystle Akin suggested we consider a "Day-of-Coordinator" due to the vastness of their wedding and recommended Deann Robertson. I emailed
  her late that night and she promptly called me the next morning. As fate would serve us, I had worked with Deann's dad 30 years ago and knew her as a little girl. So needless to say, when we met the next day, it was a precious reunion. We contracted her to complete the coordination for the Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner for 120 guest, and the Church Wedding and DInner-Dance Reception for 600 guest. I can truly say that Deann's countenance, smile and laugh are infectious and her involvement literally changed my state of stress to one of sheer elation. She quickly envisioned all our plans and immediately began implementing each and every detail. Her sweet and calm spirit entwined with her experience, creativity, organizational skills and passion for her work are amazing. By all accounts, she has earned an excellent reputation in the world of wedding and events and has established a great rapport with vendors which proved to enhance our lives. Also, it should be noted that her fees are more than reasonable, but the value of her abilities are immeasurable. Start to Finish, she and her staff did an incredible job of what is often referred to by our circle of family and friends as an "OVER THE TOP" wedding. My one regret is that we did not hire her from the beginning.

  I was under the impression when I began planning my wedding that a wedding planner was a luxury but not a necessity. Thankfully, my mom hired Deann and I honestly do not know how we could have done it with out her! First I have to say that her prices are beyond reasonable. You will be amazed at how many hours she works from your first meeting through your wedding day. It was easily the best money that we spent on the entire wedding and her seamless efficiency will not only save you hours of frustration but in the end the value translates into less time for you. Deann was my coach and friend from the moment I met her. She made sure that I stayed organized and kept in touch the entire time. She reminded me of what I needed to get done along the way and helped me create the illusion that I was actually organized. She has wedding planning down to an absolute science. She never missed a beat and made the whole elaborate affair seam effortless. Your investment in Simply Yours By Design will give your wedding a wow factor for less overall cost. Everyone at our wedding said it was in their top three all time favorites and everyone walked away thinking that our wedding must have cost over double the actual expense. Deann and the vendors she partnered with created my absolute dream wedding. It was a fairytale. I cried tears of joy throughout the entire night and I never wanted it to end. I never had to lift a finger, make a difficult decision, deal with contracts/payments or coordinate a single detail our wedding weekend. It actually poured on our wedding day and I honestly keep forgetting that our original plan was to be outside! I never once gave a thought to the weather! My husband and I were absolutely blown away the night of our wedding. I never in my wildest dreams thought that my wedding would be so picturesque. It was the best night of my life and the gift of her involvement was priceless! Thank you so much Deann! You are a gem!

  Deann was invaluable to myself and my daughter in assisting us in planning my daughter's wedding. My daughter lives out of state and Deann was always on top of every detail we asked about. She also guided us through the entire process with complete finesse and professionalism. She kept in contact with my daughter and myself and was always so easy to work with. She made the day a dream come true for my daughter in bringing all the details together in the theme we had chosen. It was over the top nice and a gorgeous event thanks to her. She was the glue that held us together. I don't know how we would have managed without her. She is simply the best!! We just love her!!
