  Absolutely amazing!

  If you have been wishing the universe would give you a sign as to what photographer you should choose for your wedding/event/family pictures, then congratulations because you just got that sign. Out of a 5-star rating, Tamara deserves a 10. There are literally not enough words to describe how amazing Tamara and her partner are and how happy we are that we chose them. They are so incredibly personable and sweet it’s like you are hanging out with your friends because you are laughing and having a genuinely good time while they pose you and capture the most incredible pictures that truly tell a story. It’s like sorcery. I waited until we received our wedding pictures so that I could give a true review of the entire process and I can say from experience that every step of the process with them from the initial outreach, engagement photos, coordination for the wedding day, wedding day, to receiving our wedding pictures back was seamless and exceeded expectations. They are very communicative and responsive, and the quality of their work speaks for itself. I am so thankful to them for documenting our special day so beautifully and capturing such special moments for us.

  The best!

  Tamara is AMAZING!!!! She is super flexible and will work hard to give you the photo experience you want. We used her for our engagement photos, our wedding photos, and we love her so much, I asked her to take headshots of me too. She does some truly beautiful editing. So many people have told me my wedding pictures are stunning. And they are right; the pictures are breath taking! You should definitely go with Tamara!!!

  Best wedding photographer EVER!

  After multiple attempts and cancelations from my previous photographer I was left scrambling with little time to get my engagement photos taken. With little time left and very low expectations at this point I began looking around for someone who looked like they could accomplish something close to my vision. There is no doubt about it that I’m in full bridezilla mode at this point of the engagement. I have a very specific vision for every little detail of my wedding especially my photography. I knew I wasn’t going to find anyone who would understand my vision at this point and I definitely gave up. I saw small red threads photos and I loved her editing style and saw it was very close to what I was looking for. I contacted her and she got back to me within minutes. She asked me more about my vision of the shoot than other photographers which instantly impressed me. She was down to travel to the location we wanted (unlike my other photographer 🙄)We booked a date and she showed up early so she could wander the property and find the perfect places to fit my vision. Oh, did I mention it began to rain and she didn’t complain at all. She continued to help us beat the rain to get the perfect shot. Knowing that we were on a time crunch to get the photos back she edited them in record timing and they beat my wildest expectations. She left my fiancé and I in tears. We love them so much and can’t wait to work with her again for our wedding. Thank you so much for making this bridezillas dreams come true!

  Timeless, fairly priced, accommodating

  We are so happy that we hired Red Thread Photography for our wedding! Tamara and her partner were amazing to work with! She was beyond accommodating as we planned our wedding in a short period of time and from a distant city. At the time (prior to major shutdowns), the precautions we took for the health and safety of our guests were over zealous, however Tamera and her partner were very respectfully compliant and helped set a good example for our more “care-free” guests. Additionally, I didn’t even notice her and her partner (second camera) during the event. Our wedding was small and we tried to buck several traditions with our ceremony, Tamera was a valuable resource to help us determine what would look good in images to aid in our planning process. I watched hours of videos about what to look for in a wedding photographer and how wedding photography should be priced based on the market, Tamera literally checks every box. Her wedding packages are fairly priced, the quality of her service is impeccable, and the product she produces is timeless. I loved that she has the skills to do a wide range of photography trends and more experimental techniques in addition to the classic images. Tamara is the embodiment of professionalism. I will hire Red Thread Photography for other events, and I have recommended her to other couples.

  The Best Wedding Decision We Made!

  There are not enough stars to give Tamara the rating she deserves. From our initial phone call a year before the wedding, to engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and the wedding itself, Tamara was there every step of the way. She was just a text or phone call away with any questions or concerns we had, and was completely honest from day one. She helped us include our fur child in pictures, even when they didn’t go quite as planned during the wedding. Tamara is so much more than a photographer. She is a friend, a therapist, the BEST advice-giver, and just a true joy to be around. Her professionalism is beyond compare, and her ability to connect with people and make you feel comfortable and beautiful is a true gift. My entire family just adores her! And our pictures – they are truly something to cherish. She captured every piece of love, every glance, every laugh. I cannot recommend Tamara enough. She’s amazingly gifted!

  Amazing, talented, personable, exceeded all expectations

  I loved working with Tamara for our small wedding and man did we throw her some curve balls!! As soon as we booked our wedding Tamara and I had a phone call discussing what I was looking for and made a schedule of when to send pictures and additional information over to her. The week of the wedding rain chances increased to over 80% and a couple of days before the wedding our wedding site contacted us saying the bathrooms were out of order; we ended up having to move our wedding to our backyard with only a few days to plan. I contacted Tamara worried that she would be perturbed by our sudden wedding location changes and the newer weather forecast. However, Tamara was amazing! She sent over an email right away after our phone conversation with pictures and inspirations for backyard weddings and shoots done in the rain, she also sent over a new schedule for the day. She reassured me that we would get the shots we needed and that the day would be beautiful. I will always be thankful for her reassurance this day and her hustle to reorganize our thoughts. Of course Tamara was awesome the day of the wedding and we were definitely on a tight schedule with our new location changes. We received a few BEAUTIFUL images the evening after our wedding. Tamara went above and beyond for this small wedding and we are so thankful! Her creativity and artwork are so impressive. We would be lucky to use her again for any future life events. Thank you Tamara for going above and beyond for us!

  Amazing work!

  I love the photos Tamara took of our wedding! She was very easy to work with and I truly felt she cared about the work she was doing on the day of our wedding. Even before the wedding she was very easy to communicate with and definitely got the right idea of how we wanted our photos to turn out. I would recommend her to anyone who wants great photos and someone super sweet and easy to work with.

  Great work for a great price

  Tamara did a fantastic job photographing my wedding. She is the perfect mix of professional and personable. She kept in touch as needed and answered any questions I had leading up to the big day. I chose to work with her simply because of the amazing photos on her page, I was more than impressed by what I received. She captured ever beautiful moment in my wedding.

  Amazing photographer with such a good vibe and amazing pictures.

  Tamara was amazing from the get go. I'm very awkward when it comes to pictures but she made me feel so comfortable and walked us through the posed pictures. From the start she was very communicative and made sure to understand what we wanted from her.

  Excellent! Professional! Timely! Artistic!

  Tamara was wonderful and easy to work with. She managed to stay in the background and still caught all of our special moments and then some. She was timely and always quick to respond. Tamara was also very reasonable and I’m more then impressed with the quality!
  I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a photographer for any special occasion.

  Everything we wanted!

  Tamara has been incredibly wonderful! She was really flexible and really listen to your ideas on how you want your pictures to be like. She took many candid shots which turned out great; this is because Tamara knows how to work a camera and has an excellent eye for composition. My husband and I have a big height difference (I'm 6 inches taller) and she was able to produce stunning compositions even with this wrench thrown in (which can make many standard wedding photo poses not work out for my husband and I).
  Tamara is also very professional regarding payment and speed of delivery following the event. We couldn't be happier with our photos and we will treasure them forever!

My husband and I were initially very worried about our wedding photos and how they'd turn out as we're both not the most comfortable in front of a camera until we met Tamara. She and her husband made us so comfortable, and also they got the most natural and beautiful photos and made everybody feel so at ease.

  I contacted Tamara about a week and a half before my wedding, and I am beyond grateful she was able to be our photographer. She genuinely cared about the types of images you wanted captured.
