Could not recommend more!
Scott is one amazing person! He made the whole process so easy. He helped keep me sane through the whole wedding process, I never had to worry about getting in contact with him or anything, he is on top of the ball every step of the way he has this down to a science. I got so many beautiful photos back that thank goodness he helped me design my wedding album because if he didn’t I would probably still be trying to figure out what photos to pick since I love them all. Scott did an amazing job at catching all the little moments that myself and my husband missed durning the day. He caught all the fun everyone was having and really captured the mood and that is what we were looking for. I cannot recommend SMJ photography enough. This group did an excellent job . They helped the bride if she needed anything and were even going around and asking the guest if they needed anything. Great group to work with. Would highly recommend them. -

Our favorite vendor!
Scott was such a great photographer to work with. From the day we inquired about using him for our wedding until now months after the wedding, Scott has been such a helpful person to us. He is very available for any and all questions you have, he is prompt with his timeline, and he really takes the time to get to know you and what you're looking for. He makes the engagement session very personable which is great to get to know him before the big day! He was such a pleasure to be around and I felt very at ease the entire day. He keeps things moving in a smooth and timely fashion. When we got our photos back we were absolutely floored. The entire experience from start to finish was better than I could have ever imagined and I hope to continue our relationship with Scott in the future. Thanks again Scott, our favorite vendor!

If you’re looking for professionalism, a personal approach, and an epic moments vibe Scott and his team at SMJ photography are THE choice. From start to finish Scott worked carefully with us to make sure he understood the vision we had for our wedding photos, so that he could make it a reality. We met with Scott several times throughout the process, and he was timely, punctual, professional, and easy to work with. Each meeting felt important and helped plan out concrete aspects of the next step in our photography journey. Above all else, Scott delivered photographs that were visually stunning, emotionally impactful, deeply personal, and artistically unique. We cannot recommend him and his team enough.

We ordered metal prints from both our engagement shoot and wedding as well as a wedding photo book. They were excellent quality and reasonably priced.

In short, Scott is a genius. He produces one of a kind photos that you're not going to get by going through anyone else. Scott and his associates not only make you and bridal party comfortable and at ease, but they also have you and your bridal party laughing throughout the day. Scott is honestly the only vendor at my wedding that didn't screw up and actually went above and beyond to make our day extra special. Even our friends and family members loved having him around. Absolutely incredible!
Scott is AMAZING!! Words cannot express how happy we are with how our wedding photos turned out!! Scott is so creative, and truly has an impeccable style that captured our wedding exactly how we wanted. Given the pandemic, we had to postpone our wedding, and Scott was so helpful and flexible in allowing us to do so. He brought a professional team with him the day of our wedding to make sure every single moment was captured, and it sure was! Over the past three years since we first met Scott at the beginning of our engagement, until our wedding now, we have seen his work grow and just continue to evolve. He has his own style that he truly embraces and it’s perfection! He’s open and honest with you, and truly wants the relationship between you and the photographer to be the right fit. If you book SMJ Photography, which I definitely think you should, you should also have him run your photo booth for you, The Loose Booth - which was honestly such a hit at our wedding (uh, hello Boomerangs!)

Stunning Photographer
Booking Scott as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. His photography is absolutely stunning and his creative eye is so unique. I wanted a photographer that was comfortable shooting photos that aren’t typical, but I also wanted an experienced photographer who was comfortable handling all of the chaos that comes with a wedding. It is not an exaggeration to say that we loved every photo we got back! His entire team was professional and fun to work with. I also thought his pricing and packages were extremely reasonable considering his skill level and compared to other photographers we looked into before booking him. He was also very flexible with our specific needs - for example, our package came with an Engagement Photoshoot, but we already had one done so he worked with us and swapped that out for different items. We are so grateful we found him and are ecstatic that he captured so many incredible moments from our wedding day. Highly recommend!! -

Worth every penny!
If we could give 10 stars, we would! We only met with one photographer and we instantly knew we wanted Scott to capture out big day! We connected instantly. Our initial meeting went amazing and we loved that he brought samples of his work to show us, both digital and print. We wanted someone who had shot at our venue (Cork Factory Hotel) and had a unique and artistic style. We didn't just want some beautiful photos, we wanted art and that's exactly what he delivered with our engagement shoot and wedding day. We knew photography was very important to us and we wanted to "splurge" on a photographer. It was worth every penny. The age old saying "you get what you pay for" is 1000% true. Scott may be a bit higher than the average photographer, but Scott isn't average by any means. His professionalism and passion for photography is unmatched. His was extremely timely in answering any questions we had, we got our photos back within the contracted time and he was very tech-savvy. We were able to communicate via video chat when we couldn't meet in person (we lived 2.5 hours apart). On the wedding day, Scott and his awesome team blended seamlessly into our day. Except for our photos before the ceremony, we hardly even knew they were there! Every photo was taken organically, nothing was "posed" or "re-created" except for our couples portraits which we were told what how to stand so that Scott could capture an epic photo. We kept to the photo timeline and everything was right on schedule. From the initial consultation to the album design and delivery, Scott was absolutely amazing and always gave 100%.
We absolutely love our photos and our album and we cannot recommend SMJ Photography enough! -

Best Photographer in the game!
Scott and his entire team are amazing. They really helped us through the entire process. If you are interested in them act quick he is in high demand! Scott was the first vendor we booked over a year and half before our August 2019 wedding. He really help plan out our day so we didn’t miss a single special moment. From the planning process to the wedding day to the follow and planning of our wedding album. Scott is just leaps and bounds above others we looked into. Everyone has said how amazing are pictures turned out. Do yourself a favor and book them right now! -

I considered our photographer to be the most important vendor we would hire for the wedding, that being said; without question Scott was the best possible choice we could have made. From the first couple emails, to our consultation at his office, we all meshed instantly. He is funny, extremely sweet, and very serious about his work. One thing that I absolutely love about him, and his team (Chuck and Bryan), was that they always made sure you were having fun. We even got them involved in an old Scottish ceremony we did at the wedding (so, sorry guys, you're all part of the family now!). Scott and his whole team made the entire process feel effortless, at least on our end, given that I know Bryan was in a bush at one point... and I may have kicked my high heels right in his face (couldn't get out of them fast enough!!). I can't thank them enough for everything that they did. My husband and I cannot wait to see our photos when they are done, and we are already in love with the teaser one that Scott sent us! So, in short; if you want a wedding photographer that will capture the most breathtaking pictures that you have ever seen, but will also make you laugh and truly forget that the camera is there, SMJ Photography is the absolute best possible choice!! -

This talent is worth every penny!
Scott was the best choice we could have made in a photographer. He was professional and courteous. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, which I personally am not! Our album came out beautifully, as well as the print we invested in. I would recommend doing the engagement shoot which was a huge help to our wedding day. It helped us feel natural in the poses and remember the silly times we had. Talent like this comes along few and far between and we were exceptionally lucky to have had it for us. His assistant Brian was definitely top notch. We also had the second shooter for our wedding. Scott chose the perfect person to compliment his work and Priscilla did a fantastic job! Thanks Scott and team!!! -
