  Bbq + texas= great southern wedding

  Bar-B-Que and Texas, what more can you ask for! We decided on having BBQ at our wedding in a buffet style. Smokin R BBQ had great reviews as is but Melinda is what sold us. We decided to head down to West Columbia near Angleton to try Smokin R BBQ with the whole family and meet Melinda. She gave us loads of foods to sample and we just feel in love with it. There macaroni and cheese is to die for along with their brisket. On top of feeding 210 people, we had 10 vegetarians and 5 vegans. Melinda was able to accommodate all of our guest with a smile.

  Best food ever!

  All of our guests loved the food! I am still getting questions about who we had! Also, their cream corn is the best cream corn in the world!

  Let me start off by saying the food was super delicious! We used them for our outdoor wedding and I'm so glad we did! We heard about Smokin' R from our DJ and decided to make a trip and try out their menu before our big day. We live about an hour away from this restaurant and the food was so good that we came back the next weekend! It was decided that they would be our caterer for the special day & we have no regrets. We chose the 3 meat/ 2 sides plate and it was more than enough to fill up each guest. My favorite is the chicken & sausage and I normally don't like sausage! Our guests raved about the food and I had quite a few asking who catered. If you want great quality meals with excellent customer service then you have to give this place a try!

  We cannot say enough about The Smokin R BBQ! They catered our daughters wedding the day after Christmas and everything was perfect! They went out of their way to make this day special and the food was fabulous. Best wedding food we've ever tasted!

  I want to thank Steven and Melinda for everything they did for the dinner rehearsal on 10-16-15. The food was absolutely delicious. The wedding party and guests raved about it all weekend. I have been recommending them to anyone that asks. Thank you again for making Jerry and Mandy''s night

  We used Smokin' R's for our son's Rehearsal Dinner and they were amazing. The Brisket, Ribs and Sausage were amazing as well as the beans, and twice baked potatoes. We were able to meet with the owners before hand to discuss the menu and held our dinner in the back room of there restaurant!!!! We had family come from all over the country and everyone raved about how good the food was. Even those New Yorkers...who think their food is better than everyone elses!!! Kudos to the Smokin' R's crew!!!!
