    Book them!

    Smoking Kow has been the talk of our wedding! All of our guests took time to tell us how incredible the food was - and the leftovers we took home didn't even last through the next week! The meat was so flavorful and juicy, the sides were delicious and a huge hit - even some of the sides that are considered "less-popular" like the collard greens and street corn salad were just gobbled up! I wish they could cater for us weekly!! In addition to tasting, looking, and smelling incredible - Dylan was so awesome to work with! He responded quickly to all my emails/texts/phone calls and made sure everything went off without a hitch on our day! We even had to change the venue two weeks before the wedding and Dylan made what could have been a super stressful situation work out seamlessly! He helped us with getting the perfect bartender and even helped set up some additional decor for the buffet & bar areas. I cannot recommend him, his team, and Smoking Kow enough! They are incredible and we will definitely be recommending them to all our friends; we don't have a single negative or even a minor hiccup to share about them, they really are the best. If you're looking for great BBQ, you've found it - no need to look any further just book them now!

    Smoking Kow is wonderful!

    The food is incredibly good. Everyone loved it. It is also plentiful and affordable. Dylan is great to work with. We needed a good vegetarian main. He was really flexible and worked with us to come up a good option. Reviews of that dish were great just like of the meat dishes and sides. I completely recommend them!

    Smoking Kow will be the best decision you make for your wedding.

    We hired Smoking Kow for our wedding in Oct 2021 in Rockville, MD. We worked with Dylan who was very friendly and organized. First of all, their ffood is amazing. I literally shed a tear during the tasting and everyone during the wedding loved it. We even have friends that went back to the restaurant weeks after the wedding and even catered Smoking Kow for a work event. One of my groomsmen said it was the best wedding food he’s ever had. Dylan is very responsive and organized with all the wedding details. Dylan responded to all emails very quickly and was very patient with all of our questions. He kept track of all of the details of the wedding and executed them the way we wanted. We had sort of a chaotic vendor walkthrough at the venue and Dylan was very patient and provided honest feedback that helped us plan the details of the reception. His staff was great as well and the reception went perfectly. They were fast, clean, and organized. I would recommend Dylan and Smoking Kow to anyone who wants to do buffet style food at their wedding.

    Excellent Caterer!

    My wedding was on September 22, 2019 just outside the DC area and I hired Smoking Kow BBQ to cater. I have to say the food and the service were spectacular. Dylan (the owner) was extremely responsive and attentive to all of my Type A requests! The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone was not only satisfied, but several people told me it was the best "wedding" food they have ever had! I can't recommend Smoking Kow enough!

    A+ Vendor and A+ Food

    Dylan absolutely crushed it for our wedding. Even working around and getting creative with some annoying venue policies to ensure that we had exactly what we needed for our wedding to go off without a food-related hitch. The guests all raved about the food and continue to do so nearly a year later, although as the groom and bride, we did not get to enjoy it as much as we would have preferred. But that comes with the territory. If you're from a land of BBQ, absolutely consider Smoking Kow for your wedding. I might order some for a COVID quarantine dinner tonight, now that I think about it.

    Best Food Truck Decision You will Make

    Smoking Kow served our entire 130 guest wedding outdoors Sept 2018 . They were absolutely incredible. Guests are still raving about our wedding food to this day! They were exceptionally professional, accommodating, and accountable. We loved everything on their menu especially the grits, so they accommodated us by offering everything on their menu to our guest in some sort or fashion whether it was during cocktail hour or during the main dinner. My husband and I would absolutely use them again for any event we have in the future.

    Delicious BBQ, Great Value, Terrific Service!

    We were so thankful to have found Smoking Kow BBQ for our wedding catering! They were responsive, flexible with our dietary needs, affordable, & everyone RAVED about the food. My uncle still mentions it whenever we seem him & we've been married for 2 years.
