Mike (SoCal DJ Pros) was on the vendor list for Pomona Valley Mining Co. & he was the first DJ I had called for our wedding. I just had a good feeling about him even before reaching out. From the moment I spoke to Mike on the phone for the first time, I knew he would be our wedding DJ/MC. I instantly liked his positive, friendly & welcoming nature. And once my husband, who was my fiancé then, met him for the first time, we trusted Mike from then & there! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Mike for our wedding, and he was seriously amazing! Mike was our officiant, MC, and DJ – and he knocked it out of the park in all three roles.
From the very first time we met him at Starbucks, it was super easy to talk to Mike. The meeting was laid-back, and he made us feel really comfortable. He didn’t pressure us at all to book him, which I really appreciated! He was just genuine and easygoing, and it felt like he really cared about making our day special. He also shared stories, photos, and videos from the previous weddings he has done.

Mikes amazing! So it took us a while to find an officiant we connected with and after a while we were so happy to have met him. Our very first conversation, we knew immediately he was the one based off his personality and the sincere words he shared that didn’t feel like they were pitching a sale to us. We had sessions getting to know each other, writing our story, customizing our Filipino Ceremony Traditions, and constantly checking in with us during the prep and even after. Mike was amazing and so much fun to work with! All of our guests told us how much fun they had! We all danced so much our legs were swollen the next day. From the moment open dance started to literally the end of our closing song, people were dancing! Mike anticipated the crowds desires while also keeping in mind the songs us as the couple wanted. Mike was incredible from start to finish. From our first meeting my wife and I could see that he truly cared about making sure our reception went smoothly. Mike was extremely responsive to any question we had and really worked hard to get in the mindset we were in to create the best playlist for us. He used his experiences in weddings to assist us in finding games for the reception to make the entire event kept up in energy and avoided any dry spells. 10/10 would hire for all weddings. -

When wedding planning, my husband and I knew what type of music we wanted to hear but also picking songs that our guest would enjoy. Dj Mike gave us the opportunity for us to pick our music from the beginning of the pre ceremony all the way to the end of our very last song of the night! To us it was meaningful to have music that we listened to together for the past 7 years. We also had the photo booth added to our package, Mike let me design the graphic for the print of the photos. Our family and friends had a great time using it all night! I love the customization that we were able to make with Dj Mike.

He was patient with us and worked with us to hold meetings at times that were most convenient for us and our busy schedules. DJ Mike was great at our challenging outdoor venue, Malibu Creek State Park. His compact system was a perfect fit for our venue. With no electricity, he was able to run off a provided generator. While we would’ve liked the music to be played a little louder during the dancing hours, we understood that running off the generator it could’ve risked shutting down the whole system, so it showed that DJ Mike was looking out for us on our special day. Mike was our DJ, MC and provider for the Photo Booth. We had been planning our wedding for a year and a half and had to reschedule once because of covid. Mike was so understanding and supporting through it all. He has guided us through the plan by process as we have not done it before.
