    It was very easy working with Social Butterflies. They were quick to respond to phone calls/emails and were very flexible with changes. They had excellent ideas and suggestions and I would recommend them.

    Social Butterflies provided the best services that anyone ever could. They made wedding planning fun, took ALL the stress out and had so many creative ideas. I would do it all over again the exact same way.

    Very creative! Helped me get the most out of my budget ... while not sacrificing quality or style! People kept commenting how "extravagant" the wedding was. Very pleased with the attention to detail - especially when incorporating my personality into the venue.

    I honestly can not say enough wonderful things about Michelle Hope and Social Butterflies. Michelle was top of the line and always professional. She made my life as a bride so easy. She listened to what we envisioned for our day and brought all the vendors to us which was amazing with my busy travel schedule. Even though she was pregnant during our wedding, nothing stopped her from tending to every detail. All we needed to do was enjoy our day. Our guests still comment on how fabulous the wedding and especially the reception were. It was a great event and we owe so much of it to Michelle.

    I am so thankful for everything that Michelle helped my do prior to the wedding and the day of the wedding. She was fabulous to work with, and she had great ideas that really added to our special day. I have recommended Michelle at Social Butterflies to all my newly engaged friends!! Thanks Michelle for all you did!

    Social Butterflies knew the vendors that could provide the best services at the lowest cost. I saved time and money using their knowledge. I didn't have a huge budget for flowers so we focused on candle lighting and flowers that gave us the most bang for our buck. I can't tell you how many people commented how beautiful our reception tent looked!

    Michelle Hope with Social Butterflies was amazing and such a blessing during my wedding planning experience. Her professionalism, organization skills, personality, and passion for what she does is one of a kind! She has a true desire to provide quality services and create the perfect wedding for each bride. She goes above and beyond to meet every need and strives for perfection. She made my experience wonderful and i enjoyed every aspect of working with her and SB.

    They were Extremely knowledgable about anything and everything that had anything to do with planning a wedding. They were very good at making plans and strategies and executing them on time. We were trying to plan our wedding from out of town, so we only actually met with them in person 2 times, and we came to them with very few ideas of our own about what we wanted, but they got to know us and took our few ideas and created the perfect wedding. I think that they knew what we wanted better than we did! There is no way that we could have ever had a more beautiful and perfect wedding or reception without them!

    Wonderful to work with; we really enjoyed your personalities and had fun working with you all!

    We did have some concerns regarding detail orientation and proactivity - while always very responsive when we asked for something to be taken care of, the proactive handling of details was lacking a bit: the photographer did not receive the list of desired photos that we carefully pulled together. The florist didn't receive an image of the cake, and therefore we didn't get the end result that we had hoped for. The gifts and leftover cake were left around our bed in our wedding suite in a thoughtless manner - cake on the nightstand in our romantic wedding suite!? - when there was a whole other room that could have been utilized for this. The little things like that add up.

    We loved working with you, however the proactive handling of details like this would have made us even more happy with the service. :)

    Just be very careful about which vendors you recommend ie the band at my sister's wedding who at the reception said they couldn't play their chosen first dance song, though they originally approved it.

    The Butterflies were very responsive to our needs prior to the event and afterwards when we had issues with vendors. The day of our wedding was a little too chaotic for what I what have preferred with hiring wedding planners, my husband and I didn't feel like we got the attention we needed because of other factors going on that day. There were several interns helping out but none of them took the time to introduce themselves to my husband or I and see if we needed anything.

    1. Several things before the wedding ceremony didn't flow smoothly. I almost ran into my groom twice while at the church because the planner wasn't clear on his location and didn't know where to tell us to go to avoid this from happening.

    2. Whenever my aisle runner was ordered the planners told me they went to the church and measured the aisle to make sure it was the appropriate length. The morning of our wedding, the first thing I noticed was the aisle runner was at least three feet too short. This didn't look good, it was embarrassing and it could have been avoided.

    3. For months leading up to our wedding, we'd talked about lining the aisle runner with pink rose petals all the way down. I paid $250 to make this happen and the morning of the wedding, the planner informed me the church didn't allow rose petals down the aisle. This is something that should have been addressed way before the day of the wedding, so that we could've made other arrangements.

    4. For over 20 years, I've dreamed of walking down the aisle to "Here Comes the Bride" but for whatever reason on my wedding day, the string trio played the wrong song as I walked down the aisle. I'm still unclear as to how this happened since I discussed with the wedding planner several days before the wedding what I wanted played. Although this may not seem like a big deal to some people, it was the most important moment of my life and unfortunately, I will always remember the wrong song being played as I walked down the aisle to meet my husband. This along with several other things could have been avoided with more attention to detail during the planning process.

    5. After the ceremony, the entire bridal party got into the limo and there was no alcohol waiting for us. My husband made it very clear that he wanted alcohol in the limo for the bridal party and we even confirmed the planners the day before the wedding. For whatever reason, the alcohol ended up in our Phantom at the end of the night and went to waste because there was no way we could or would drink that much alcohol after drinking all night at our reception.

    6. We heard from several people that our cocktail hour wasn't well attended in the outside courtyard. Several people said they were unaware there was a steelband playing music outside because no one escorted them out there or advised them to go outside. They also said the servers never brought food outside, so most people stayed inside to ensure they would receive passed apps and drinks. It would've been nice to have our planners escort the guests outside, so they could've taken full advantage of the cocktail music and outdoor scenary.

    7. From the start of the actual reception, we were pleased with how things looked and the overall flow of the evening. It was a LOT better than the flow of the ceremony. We felt that the reception planner did an amazing job with keeping things on track and our guests raved about your positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile. The only complaints we had from the reception were that the sweetheart table wasn't elevated like we previously discussed, there were no candles on our table, which made it very dark and we never got a piece of our own wedding cake. It would have been nice if the planners would have wrapped up a piece of cake for us to eat at the hotel later that evening.

    In summary, we're well aware that things happen and there's no such thing as the "perfect" wedding. However, we were very disappointed in the number of small things that weren't taken care of after a year of intense planning. For the amount of money we paid Social Butterflies, we were expecting superior service and honestly we didn't feel our expectations were met.

    Again, we appreciated their efforts and liked them as people but as the recommended wedding planners of Memphis, we were not impressed. Hopefully this feedback will be of assistance with future wedding planning.
