WOW - we are FLOORED at how incredible the Herban Feast/Sodo Park team was to work with. There's so much to rave about but some highlights are:

- Unbelievable planning staff. Matt Tamayo, Tayler Doffner on the Herban Feast side, as well as Rebecca Dashow and Amy Gilman on the Herban Design Studio were so incredible to work with. Every question was met with professionalism, and a "let's see how we can make it work" attitude. It was easy to trust their decisions, especially since we came in with large ideas around our guest count and complicated live music priorities :)
- Servers, bartenders, general event staff were so friendly, accessible, and accommodating
- The space is STUNNING. It was so so so helpful to have so much space and to have the upstairs for before/during to go hide away
- Holy cow they are EFFICIENT. We were really concerned about timing having such a large guest count, having some important moments near the end of the wedding, and at one point we were running 10 minutes early, I couldn't believe it. I barely even noticed the room flip from ceremony to reception, and that was a lot of moving pieces.
- Food was so delicious. They ended up catering both my bridal shower, as well as our rehearsal dinner as we came up on booking difficulties having our rehearsal dinner on Valentine's Day! Still dreaming about the crab cakes and steak with chimichurri
- We really appreciated that they were not strict on other vendors. My husband's dad wanted to make our wedding cake, we had a friend make our bridal party flowers (HDS provided the rest of the florals) and there's just not that many locations out there that are willing to work with you that much.

Overall - I would recommend them to everyone, for anything. They absolutely made our day what it was, and we were both so thrilled to go into our day stress-free, deeply trusting that everything was taken care of because of the Herban Feast and Sodo Park team. We can't thank them enough

Matt and team were wonderful to work with. There’s a reason Sodo Park is booked every Friday/Saturday weekend. Me and my fiancé are not Seattle natives and loved the authentic Seattle interior of Sodo Park. I love that weddings are turnkey with Sodo Park - tables, chairs, gratuity, etc. everything was provided to you without having to hire an outside vendor. We were initially skeptical because of the Sodo location, but Sodo Park was perfect - you can dress it up, you can dress it down. We had 220 people are our wedding and the space was perfect. Note to brides who get married in the summer months - the building can get hot, but the team brings in portable ACs.

Herban also catered the first night of our wedding festivities and I was impressed with their creative food selection. Some of the favorites were latkes, chicken waffles with syrup and chicken endive skewers. You won’t regret choosing Herban Feast or Sodo Park.

We got married on a snowy perfect day in February at Sodo Park. Our engagement was 4 months long and we worked with Matt Tamayo from the venue and he made everything wonderful and seamless. He was always quick to respond to questions and point us in the right direction when we had questions. Our ceremony set up was absolutely beautiful. We were able to use some of some of their décor and some of our own. I will say they had a full warehouse of décor that was really cool, I just enjoyed doing our own crafts! I definitely recommend the Italian lights and drapes, they draw everything together. The whole place had so many neat surroundings to take great pictures! We got many compliments on the food and appreciated that we got to go to a taste testing to pick our favorite stuff. We had a really easy time with the bar. We got to pick the beer and wine we wanted and they allowed us to also do his and her cocktails which I had really been hoping to do. The flip from ceremony to reception was quick and easy. The ambiance made the cocktail hour so fun that we barely noticed them changing everything. The set up was great and I know our coordinator said they were super easy to work with. The dance floor was set up nicely to feel welcoming and fun! Bonus, the grooms room, brides room, and bridal party hang out area was really cool. It was nice to have our own area to get ready in and to relax in before the big show. I cannot say enough of how much we LOVED our experience! The venue was perfect, the night was perfect. Everything was more then I even imagined!! Thank you thank you to Matt and the rest of the team at SODO park for our making our special day so magical!!!

We just had our wedding last night 7.1.17 and we have loved working with everyone at SoDo Park from the beginning. Rosalyn was our venue coordinator and she was incredibly helpful and responsive, willing to answer any of our questions and help with everything we needed. The venue was absolutely beautiful, the wait staff were wonderful and our guests even commented on how nice they were, the food was delicious and we can't recommend them highly enough. We also went with their Herban Bloom and Design for flowers and décor and they did such a beautiful job. Our flowers were so fresh, color combinations perfect and so well organized!

The venue is amazing. You can't go wrong having your reception here. The openness and the look of this place feels magical. The team at Sodo Park are amazing so accommodating and they work with you every step of the way. And the food is amazing, we had so many guests rave about how much they liked the food. We were so pleased with everything!

This review is for the overall team at Sodo Park/Herban Feast Catering but mostly for Martha B and Matt T who held my hand throughout the entire process of planning. I can't tell you how many times I changed my mind, had questions, needed follow up...they were always there with a smile and eager to assist. When it came to the day of, I felt the team did a flawless job. If anything didn't go to plan, I didn't know! The food got so many compliments (best wedding food they've had) as well as the service. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating to our guest's wishes. Billy did an outstanding job making sure that the venue looked amazing with the help from our day of coordinators. The lady who took care of me and my (new) husband was so incredibly sweet and I feel terrible that I cannot recall her name. But she made sure we had everything we needed the entire day but wasn't overbearing. I also cannot say enough about the response to a very sensitive situation we went through that almost caused us to have to postpone. Reese and the upper management team really helped us and we'll forever be thankful for that.

We had our wedding at the Sodo Park location- and it was beautiful! Two months later and our friends and family are still raving. Darby helped us coordinate- and she was great!

There aren't words to describe the amazing service that sodo provides. All the servers made my guests feel welcome and were very friendly. Matt T was so fun to work with and very helpful! Thank you sodo for the amazing food, service, and beautiful space!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. My husband and I chose this venue 100% based on reviews since we live out of state. We didnt even see it in person and booked it!
My initial contact was with Reese and my planner was Kristen. They were responsive on every little question as annoying as I'm sure I was. I LOVED working with them and absolutely LOVED the venue. This venue includes everything from linens to chairs to tables, etc - nothing hidden! I had a budget that I stuck to which meant having a Thursday wedding. This allowed us to have cafe lights, open bar, 2 appetizers, an amazing chicken buffet dinner and to top it off sliders&shakes at 10:45pm to make the party last through midnight. I have nothing bad to say about Sodo and their employees. They even made sure my husband and I had drinks all night as well as bringing us our dinner - SO VERY HAPPY!!!!!! If you are considering getting married in Seattle, SODO is the way to go.

Everyone at Sodo Park/ Herban Feast catering was awesome. Matt was such a pleasure to work with and I felt like he really was excited for our big day. The staff was great and the venue is just to die for! We had only 86 guests and still made it intimate thanks to Matt's suggestions of layout, etc. Love them!

What can I say? Our day was perfect and EVERYONE is still talking about how delicious our food was, how nice the bartenders were, and how beautiful and perfect the venue was. Our wedding was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and everything went so perfectly. With lots of space for dancing, photo booth, mingling, drinking, and eating and tons of beautiful photo opportunities, this venue is one of the most beautiful venues in the country, not just in Seattle. We also sprang for the Italian wedding lights, which just made Sodo Park even MORE beautiful (if that's even possible). Reese was the most wonderful, helpful person in the world to work with! She dealt with all of my questions and last minute changes gracefully and kindly and was always super warm and helpful. I could not have asked for a better, more beautiful place to say "I do!"

We chose to host our ceremony and reception at Sodo Park for our January wedding. As we began planning, Reese was phenominal to work with. She was incredibly responsive to my numerous questions, always followed up with more information and options than I asked for, and never said no to any of my ridiculous requests.

The wedding was a stunner. The service and food were a complete hit. Everyone was raving about the food, and everything down to the blood orange garnishes on the cocktail tree was just spectacular. I couldn't have been more pleased. Also, the staff was so responsive and friendly to work with, I felt like all of our needs were really taken care of, and nothing was left undone or uncoordinated.

We had a unique style of wedding that mixed sessions of dancing with courses of food. The Sodo Park staff worked seamlessly with our MC/DJ to make sure that the courses flowed with the music and all of our guests knew where to be and when.

Honestly, I feel that Reese was the backbone of our wedding planning experience. I didn't hire a full wedding coordinator, and I could have never done it all without her help. If the space doesn't speak for itself, the service and impeccable experience that we and our guests enjoyed should.

Booking Sodo Park was the best decision we made during our wedding planning. As others have said, initially, it seems very expensive. Then when you break down all that you're getting- space rental, catering, drinks, rentals, etc. and you compare- it's pretty much on par with the average price.
I can't rave enough about the people there- the caterers, servers, bartenders, other staff, they were ALL great to us. Reese was my main contact when planning and I'm pretty sure she answered every email of mine in mere minutes. And if I learned one thing in my planning, it's that responsiveness is the most important thing in this business.
I was too busy to eat but my husband and all the guests raved about the food.
I truly hope all my friends get married here just so I can go to this amazing place again! Thank you for a wonderful night, Sodo Park/Herban Feast. :)

One of the first vendors we booked was venue/caterer – Lucky for us they were a team booking. From the moment we booked them the luck continued and their work was more than we could have ever asked for. Our guests have not stopped talking about our food for both cocktail hour as well as our dinner entrees. They also have not stopped talking about how wonderful the drinks were (we had an open bar!)

Sodo Park is a very unique special venue and to understand it is to greatly appreciate it. Our guests understood it and therefore the moments and memories captured there are way beyond something we will forever greatly appreciate. Thank you so very much to BJ and Sarah who get special shout-outs because their professionalism mixed with friendship never crossed paths and thus working together was super easy and pleasant, always. Another thing that can not go unnoticed – everyone was very responsive via email and phone and they got answers to us straight away.

I would recommend Herban Feast and Sodo Park to anyone and everyone who wants a wedding day of perfection with a touch of added Luck =)

We booked Sodo Park for our wedding ceremony and reception. Not only is the venue stunning but the staff is amazing. They were accommodating throughout the planning process, although at times it did take a while to get a response from my coordinator Martha B. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I was incredibly pleased with the experience overall.

SODO Park was an AMAZINGLY beautiful venue. They really did work with me to come up with a budget that was doable for me. I had some leverage since it was January and their low season. However, they do like to charge money for every possible thing (their stringed lights cost $$$ if you want them). The food was really wonderful (get the black cod, everyone was talking about our black cod) and service was impeccable. After you get over the shell shock of how much they cost, everything goes more smoothly and more wonderfully than you would have ever expected.

Sodo is beautiful and so well run. It is a machine of venue, catering, and design. We picked Sodo because it was so much more simple to have all the amazing team work together on what they are best at, rather than pick a venue, hire an outside caterer etc.
