An unforgettable experience
The experience with Christine and John at Soiree could best be described as lifesaving! If ever we were to come across a couple in life with talk of getting married I would strongly advise them to not even attempt to do it without a wedding planner and for that wedding planner to be Soiree. We learned this the hard way in the beginning of our wedding planning stages when we attempted to do it on our own. After a month of frantically pulling our hair out and getting practically nowhere trying to find caterers and doing whatever else we thought we needed to do we came across Christine and John and instantly felt at ease. We were looking to share a very special experience with our friends and family with one of our favorite pastimes, Afternoon Tea. Us being the particular people that we are, we were afraid that no one would be able to quite grasp this experience as perfectly as we ourselves have come to expect. Lo and behold, Christine and John were actually very well versed in the ways of Afternoon Tea and were quickly able to set us up with the most wonderful caterer. In the months leading up to our wedding day after our initial meeting, they introduced us to photographers and musicians and a wonderful florist. They even set us up with a rental company with beautiful fine china and a baker for our wedding cake which turned out to be just as delicious as it was beautiful! We had lots of questions throughout the planning process to which they always had answers for and not once did they ever make us feel as though it was all too much for them to handle. From those first moments in the beginning when we sent out the invitations till the end when we were picking up our tuxedo’s and completing all of the final touches it felt like we were celebrating all these special moments with them which was very nice. If we could have done anything differently the only thing would be to have brought Soiree on sooner. It truly does bring tears of joy to our eyes when we think about everything that Soiree did to ensure our special day could be celebrated as perfectly as it was and it something that we will never forget. -

Phenomenal!!
Simply put, Christine & John were phenomenal. Our wedding was flawless - from the florals down to the napkin folding, no detail was overlooked or too small. Christine and John were incredible to work with - extremely professional, thoughtful, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. They genuinely listened to what we were looking for, took our ideas and made them way better than we could have ever imagined.
Soiree’s service was beyond exceptional. We had a pretty challenging vendor situation to navigate, and they thought of and managed everything. They went above and beyond to make us feel heard and deliver thoughtfully curated details. We felt like we were their only clients and always felt like they were in our corner, representing us and our best interests. Most especially, they took every ounce of stress out of the planning process.
Soiree delivered the most beautiful, elegant and tasteful wedding we and our guests had ever seen. They managed to truly capture what we were looking for. Our wedding was uniquely us and every aspect of our wedding reflected us as a couple and what we wanted our guests to share in and experience. What they were able to create for us in only 6 weeks was beyond our expectations and brought tears to our eyes when they revealed the final set up – it was gorgeous! It felt like we had stepped into a magazine wedding. We couldn't have asked for anything better. It truly was a phenomenal experience working with them. I guarantee you will not find better than Soiree. -

I truly can't say enough amazing things about working with Christine & John. It is so important when hiring a planning team to work with someone that really gets you -- and that's exactly how we felt with them! From start to finish they understood my vision and went above and beyond to deliver the most wonderful wedding we could have ever imagined! We hired them after finding our venue and many of our vendors but they stepped in and took over everything seamlessly. John was absolutely amazing to work with for full design and decor planning - he understood my vision and elevated it every step of the way. He worked so hard and with such enthusiasm to find all the perfect decor rentals - everything from the perfect chairs and table linens to tableware, bar rentals, decor pieces (even the most perfect salt and pepper shakers!) He went back and forth over countless options of each individual piece until we were able to put together the perfect combination to execute my vision. They worked with all our vendors to make sure everything was cohesive and helped to put our entire design together- stationary, florals, lighting, day of details -- they took care of everything! On the day of he supervised all the decor and vendors teams to make sure everything fell into place perfectly - the moment of seeing our ceremony and then reception room is one I will never forget. And Christine, the organization goddess of my dreams! Christine kept me on track and sane every single step of the way. She was so on top of every single detail -- all the planning aspects from keeping track of and communicating with my vendors, to building our timeline and constantly easing all my anxieties. She was an absolute life saver throughout the entire process, I couldn't imagine doing it without her. As a a super organized, type a person myself - it was an absolute blessing to hand everything over to her and feel confident that I never had to worry. The week of the wedding she spoke with me so many times so ease any concerns and reassured me that she had complete control. On the day of the wedding all my nerves disappeared and I really did not think of a single thing, let alone worry about anything. She took care of everything from last minute seating changes, keeping us on schedule throughout the day and still oversaw all the tiny details she knew were important to me. Her organization and attention to detail is unmatched. I'm so incredibly thankful for everything they did to not only deliver the day of our dreams but to alleviate all our stress throughout the day and help us to actually enjoy it. I could go on forever about how wonderful they were to work with, thank you John and Christine! -

I have been trying so hard to find the words that truly express all of our gratitude. It was BEYOND perfect. Every detail was amazing - I wouldn't have changed a single thing! We have been getting so many calls and texts saying it was the best wedding people have ever been to and I quote many that said "wedding of the century". Working with you both was an absolute pleasure - your skill and your taste and your work ethic is UNMATCHED! I have never worked with anyone as good as you two. People are lucky to have you plan their events. I didn't have one stressor over the wedding itself - you made every step so easy and perfect. And you totally got us - you really curated the best of everything and understood the mission and over delivered. It was the best day of my life! And you two made that happen!! Thank you so much - although that doesn't feel big enough. You two are national treasures. I am so grateful to have met you and worked with you. -

We can't imagine our wedding without them!
Christine and John did an absolutely incredible job with our wedding. We hired them less than 2 months before our wedding day for month and day of coordination services. We originally thought we didn't need a planner and that our caterer's day-of coordinator would be enough, but as the wedding approached things started to get overwhelming and it became clear that we needed more help if we wanted to actually enjoy our wedding day and not be stressed and managing the setup and details ourselves. It is actually scary to imagine what our wedding would have been like without Christine and John! They took over all of the stress and details and made sure our wedding happened seamlessly. From day 1 Christine was a calming and reassuring presence, offering creative solutions and really helpful advice, and always quick to respond to emails and calls. Moreover, she got things done- and fast! When our florist fell through, Christine found us a great new florist (AP Floral Designs!) just weeks before our wedding who worked within our budget and gave us everything we wanted for half the price of our previous florist. Just with that, they saved us almost as much money as it cost us to hire them! Christine also found us great cake bakery options including an allergen-friendly bakery, dropped off cake tastings at our house, booked our hotel shuttle, and made sure all our vendors knew our timeline, where/when to set up and all the details they needed. I gave her and John a bunch of random decor for our welcome party and they made it look amazing, and they did the same with the wedding. They had no problem setting up a ton of decor for us including a neon sign, family photos, a DIY photobooth, and our welcome signs and seating chart which they had professionally printed on foam board for us. They also ran our rehearsal and planned our ceremony in a non-conventional garden venue, and Christine helped us scope out the best photo spots. They truly went above and beyond for us, and were a calming presence on our wedding day while also keeping us on schedule and making sure everything happened flawlessly behind the scenes while we just enjoyed the day. I cannot recommend them enough and we will always be so grateful! -

I can not thank Christine and John enough for their wealth of knowledge, dedication, creativity and talent in making my wedding dream a reality. My vision was a Great Gatsby/1920's wedding. Every design and production element was beautifully woven into the perfect day and evening. From the moment I met them both, I knew I was in excellent hands. They immediately put me and my mother at ease throughout the entire process. They are extremely patient, kind and there for you every step of the way along the wedding planning journey. Navigating and coordinating multiple vendors for a large scale event can be overwhelming, but they handled it with such ease and professionalism. I am so grateful for them. Thank you so much for everything, Soiree! -

A scale of 5 doesn’t do justice to Soiree. Christine and John’s expertise, work ethic, vision and talent are exceptional and well beyond any conventional rating. Soiree oversaw every detail of a spring, outdoor wedding at our house. Event planning is an art and a science—requiring handling multiple, potentially complicated logistics and understanding the sensibility of the clients and bringing it to life in the best possible way within budget. The outcome was utterly amazing. Christine and John developed plans for siting several tents while minimally impacting our landscape, provided recommendations for, negotiated with, and handled all interactions with selected vendors, and designed a breathtaking cocktail and dining space. Every selected vendor was outstanding. All were consummate professionals and required absolutely no oversight from us. Their competence and hard work were an inspiration. Aside from their event planning expertise, Christine and John were always unflappable, responsive, punctual and, equally important, reassuring. They provided for every contingency and assured us we did not have to worry about anything. And we didn’t—not even the weather! I offer my highest recommendation for Christine, John and Soiree. I look forward to another event when I can use their services!
