    Sheryl was amazing! We met with her a couple months before our wedding and instantly knew we wanted her to marry us! She is so pleasant to work with and created a beautiful ceremony for us! I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for an officiant!

    Sheryl was wonderful to work with. She worked very hard to ensure that our ceremony fit us perfectly, and was always open to our suggestions and opinions. We are very grateful for the beautiful ceremony she wrote for us! She was recommended to us by friends who had similar experiences, and we will absolutely pass that recommendation on.     Sheryl did an awesome job with our wedding and made it very personal for my husband and I. She really got to know us and how to make our ceremony special and one of the best days of our lives.

    Sheryl Goodling married my husband and me. She was fantastic. She made our ceremony extremely personal. We could not have asked for a better officiant. Our wedding day was perfect and she was an integral part in making the day so wonderful.

    Sheryl was an amazing officiant. The ceremony was wonderful and exactly what we wanted. She took the time to get to know us and tailor the ceremony to our personalities. It was a personal touch that improved the experience for everyone. We received many compliments on the ceremony.

    Working with Sheryl was an absolute pleasure. After having some trouble with a previous officiant, we ended up hiring Sheryl about a month out from our wedding date. We were so fortunate that she was available because she did an incredible job. We are both confirmed Catholics and she was able to incorporate some of our traditions for our outdoor ceremony. Sheryl was not only reliable, prompt, and professional but she is also very passionate about officiating and it truly came across during our ceremony.

    Literally, from the moment we met Sheryl, we knew she was perfect to marry us. Completely genuine, down to earth; one of those people that you meet and feel you have known for years. She was so kind and friendly, so incredibly professional and so fairly priced for her services. My husband and I would do this a hundred times again if we knew we could work with her in the end together. We won't ever forget our ceremony or how perfect she presented it and wrote it for us. She is truly amazing and in the line of work that she's supposed to be in, no doubt about it. We will reccomend her for everything possible for everyone we know.

    We had a beautiful wedding ceremony thanks to the thoughtfulness that was put into writing it from Sheryl. She hadn't known us long but ended up writing a ceremony that described us like no one else could. She was very down to earth and caring person that wants to make your wedding day the most special of all...and ours was because of her. Highly recommend her for any event.

    Sheryl was awesome! We loved our ceremony and all of our guests came up to us afterwards and commented about how beautiful the ceremony was. She helped to make our day so special and was available every step of the way. We were kind of clueless about what exactly we wanted for our ceremony, we just knew we didn't want a traditional church ceremony, and she listened to all of our ideas and pieced them together to create something beautiful. I would definitely recommend Sheryl, she was a pleasure to work with and we will be forever grateful for what she did for us.

    Sheryl was the best officiant I could have asked for! After another officiant backed out last minute (and took my deposit with her) and I was in a panic to find another. Sheryl met with us, made a ceremony to fit our needs, and even reduced her price a bit for us due to our difficulties with the prior officiant. She was responsive to all my questions and prompt in her replies. Everyone commented on how beautiful the ceremony was, and it was exactly what I had envisioned. Thanks Sheryl!

    When we looked for an officiant, we wanted to choose someone who would make a memorable ceremony, but without turning it into a spectacle or by injecting personal dogma that makes everyone uncomfortable.

    Sheryl could not have been the more perfect choice. From the very beginning, she was clearly interested only in providing us with exactly what we wanted, and spent a great deal of time crafting and tweaking the ceremony with us. We knew it would be great long before the day of the wedding.

    On the day itself, she showed her expertise even more. We had all sorts of potential problems, including heavy rain (for an outdoor ceremony), but Sheryl remained cool and calm the whole time. She gave us the feeling that we could have had half the wedding site ripped out by a tornado, and she would have still delivered it calmly.

    She was dressed professionally and appropriately, spoke loudly enough to be heard by everyone without sounding like she was shouting (we did not amplify), made no mistakes, and led everything perfectly, and at a price much more affordable than a lot of the other officiants out there. We were able to stop worrying about the ceremony completely and let her do her job, allowing us to simply enjoy the beauty of it. We felt like we had a perfect day and a perfect ceremony, which many people commented on afterward.

    If you're still trying to decide on an officiant, stop looking and pick Sheryl. You'll be certain to have a wonderful wedding.

    Sheryl was WONDERFUL. We could not have asked for a better officiant. I had spoken with a few different officiants on the phone, and after speaking with Sheryl, I knew I wanted her to be a part of our day. She was flexible, friendly, professional, and just and all around great person to work with. We met with her one time before our wedding, and we felt like we already knew her for years after just a few minutes! She gave us plenty of material to look through and really made our ceremony personal. We are so grateful that she was a part of our day.

    Sheryl was a wonderful officiant to work with. She took the time to go over everything we wanted for our ceremony, customizing it to meet our needs. I am Jewish and my husband is Catholic and she took the time to learn about both of our customs to include aspects from both religions. Sheryl had great recommends to include a wine box ritual and find a special way to honor my grandmother who passed away right before our wedding. She was professional, patient, prompt, creative, and very friendly. My husband and I would recommend her very highly!

    Sheryl was an absolute pleasure to work with. We honestly could not have been happier with our decision to have her officiate our wedding. From our first meeting we found her to be very warm, sincere, funny and easy to talk to. She was extremely responsive throughout the whole process, and the ceremony itself was wonderful. She is great & I highly recommend her!!

    We felt comfortable with Sheryl from our very first meeting. She listened actively and carefully to what we wanted for our ceremony. My husband had a lot of ideas during our first meeting and Sheryl took those ideas and some of her own creative and meaningful suggestions, and put it all together for us in a proposed ceremony. We were pleased with how willing she was to work with what we suggested, and her openness to us revising the ceremony as our ideas evolved. Throughout the process, Sheryl communicated with us frequently, making adjustments as we asked, and continuing to offer guidance based on her experiences.
    At the rehearsal and on the big day, her presence was calm, friendly and reassuring. She led our group through the rehearsal, allowing us to jump in where appropriate, and provided a bit of calm in the storm of preparations.
    Sheryl's warmth and professionalism really came through during our ceremony. We were touched by her delivery, and the ease and lightness she conveyed. Our guests couldn't say enough great things about the ceremony. To this day, we still hear how moving it was.
    We would definitely recommend Sheryl as a wedding officiant. Thanks, Sheryl, for making our day so special!

    From the first time we met with Sheryl, we knew she was the perfect officiant for our wedding. We really wanted someone who could deliver a humorous and upbeat ceremony and she did just that. She wrote a beautiful ceremony for us and had many wonderful ideas as we were a bit clueless in the beginning. One could really tell the amount of care and time that she devoted to making the ceremony perfect for us as a couple. All of our guests told us at the reception how beautiful the ceremony was. She was both extremely professional, personable and flexible. She even came to my husband's parent's house to lead the rehearsal the night before the wedding. Everyone involved felt very confident in their roles afterwards. We could not have asked for a more perfect day and we would recommend Sojourns of the Heart to anyone!

    My wife and I just recently got married and Sheryl was our officiant for the wedding. Sheryl was great from start to finish, I would highly recommend her to anyone and this is why.
    The great part about working with Sheryl was, being able to get in touch with her anytime, and having fast responses by e-mail and phone. When it came to planning the wedding my wife was getting very stressed (as most brides do) so it was such a huge relief to have instant & caring responses when working with Sheryl.
    She is open to new ideas and her joy of working with couples is quite obvious. My wife had a very specific vision in mind for her ceremony and wanted to include a new twist with a unity drink instead of the traditional sand pour or candle lighting. Sheryl was all for it and was able to capture my wife’s vision perfectly.
    My older family members, Grandparents, aunts, uncles and even my own father were skeptical about me finding an officiant on the internet. My father and others wanted my wife and I to find a Paster from their church…
    My wife and I really liked Sheryl from our first meeting so we stuck with her. This was the best decision we could have made. After the ceremony my father and family could not stop raving about how amazing and beautiful the ceremony was. She could not have done a better job, and she received many compliments from our family members.
    This review is getting long so I will leave you with our favorite thing about working together with Sheryl.
    Sheryl’s open mind, fun attitude and sincere caring heart made our experience with her and our ceremony one to remember forever.

    From the moment we met Sheryl, she just made us feel that we have known her a ling time. We talked, laughed, and truly enjoyed her company. The day of the wedding, Sheryl come in wearing a robe in the same color as our theme (nice surprise!), talking like an old friend. The ceremony was exactly what we wanted. She gave us options for our vows, which we took a piece from a couple to make the perfect one for us. Sheryl made it "our" ceremony and made our day just perfect!

    When my husband and I were searching for the perfect officiant we never could have imagined finding a better one than Sheryl from Sojourns of the Heart. Upon our first meeting, we instantly clicked. She was so understanding and really listened to what we wanted for our special day. She was extremely knowledgeable in the different ways we could express our love and gave us many options that she thought went well with our style. As I flipped flopped between decisions she was always accommodating and very professional. After the ceremony we got tons of compliments on how beautiful it was and how perfect it was for the two of us. I truthfully believe that if we didn’t have Sheryl’s guidance and understanding, our day couldn’t have been as perfect.

    Sheryl was the officiant for my wedding in May 2014. She was friendly, helpful, flexible and very dependable. We first met with her in March, where she gave us ideas for our wedding ceremony. We liked her so much that we decided to book her for our wedding. We hadn't met with any other officiants at this point, but we had emailed and spoken on the phone to several, and none of them seemed as professional and nice as her. After we booked her, she emailed us a lot of different options for the components of the ceremony -- readings, vows, and ring exchanges. Then later Sheryl emailed us a draft for the entire ceremony that she had written for us. It was nicely written and was a great option to have. However my fiance and I wanted to write our own ceremony, so we did, and Sheryl was happy to use it. It was very nice to have her script as an example to follow and we used many of the ideas and themes from hers. At our second meeting, we gave her the draft of our ceremony script and she helped us figure out logistics for the wedding ceremony. She wanted the final ceremony script at least three days before the wedding so that she could read it over and get it in her mind before the wedding. She came to our rehearsal the day before the wedding, and was very patient even when I was twenty minutes late. On the day of the wedding, Sheryl arrived early so that we wouldn't have to worry. The ceremony went through without a hitch. Sheryl spoke loudly and clearly and at the right pace. We couldn't be more happy with our officiant!
