Andrea Sent on 10/29/2015I just purchased my wedding dress last night from Sophie's last night and the service I received from my bridal consultant, Ianna, was outstanding. She was so patient, caring, helpful, and did not pressure me to go over budget. They had a wide selection of designer gowns and had some really great sale items! I can't wait to go back for my first fitting! -

Debbie Sent on 06/21/2015I just bought my dress from Sophie's this weekend. A woman named Cheyenne helped me and she was great (and I think she was new too). She was so helpful and friendly and made my dress shopping experience fantastic. I showed her dress styles that I liked and while they did not have the dresses I showed her, she brought me similar styles after listening to what I liked. It just so happens I bought the first dress she brought me to try on (after trying on many others, going home and thinking about it, and then returning the next weekend.) She was also really funny and personable and paid attention to my budget. I am so happy with my dress and the experience I had there. I will probably go back to buy my bridesmaid dresses from her assuming the designers they sell have the colour I'm looking for. I can't wait for my dress to come in and I hope the rest of the process is as smooth as this. -

User1574464 Sent on 04/02/2014I went to Sophie's for my bridesmaid dresses (I wish I could have purchased my wedding dress there!). When I went with my bridemaids in December, we had an amazing consultant (I wish I could remember her name)! She was VERY patient with us and let us try on multiple dresses. We were a little bit of a challenging group because two of my four bridesmaids were hoping to be pregnant in time for my wedding. With that being said, she did a great job and found us a reasonably priced dress that everyone loved!
When we went in to try on the dresses for the first time (in mid-March), my MOH dress didn't fit her because the zipper was ruined before she even tried it on. My other MOH had her clasp break as she tried to do it up. The manager, Tanya, came over and assured us that these issues would be fixed right away. We decided to get those two dresses altered at the store to ensure the problem was fix. When we arrived for the first fitting, I was happy to see that the zipper and clasp had been fixed!! The dresses fit great and the seamstress was awesome!
I can't say enough good things about Tanya (the store manager). She has an AMAZING personality, and did everything to ensure we were happy with our purchase. I really enjoyed working with her and would recommend this place to ANY of my friends! if you have any issues, ask for Tanya because she will solve it and make you feel so much better!! -

Katie Sent on 06/01/2013Bought my bridal gown at Sophie's last summer and it was an amazing experience! We *finally* got married on May 18, and the dress was absolutely perfect. They were very flexible - because I was moving to the United States in December, they put a rush on my gown, and had it ready a few weeks before I left. The seamstress was able to add an extra layer of crinoline to my crinoline that I purchased online, to make the dress extra poofy. Working with Tanya was a godsend. She is so talented at what she does. From the moment I tried on my dress, everyone agreed that it was absolutely perfect for me. We didn't even need to make any big alterations - all we did was add detachable cap sleeves, to suit the look that I wanted!

I was helped by Joanne, She was very professional and a lovely person to talk and consult with. She was extremely helpful and was honest to tell me what would suite me and what would not. Sure enough I loved what she showed.
Surely take an appointment as saturday and sundays they are very busy.
Joanne is the star of Sophie's Bridal in Mississauga. -

Chelsea Sent on 08/16/2016I went to Sophie's in a Friday afternoon, so I had a lot of space, and was not too crowded full of other brides and their groups. I could see it getting very squishy and crowded on a busy Saturday, so I recommend a weekday visit if you can. Gordana was super helpful and pulled many dresses that I loved. There were a few that I just stood and stared at myself for a long time and she was totally patient with me, and felt like part of my entourage. She let me change into the gowns myself, and came in to help zip/tie the back- if anyone is nervous about having someone in your change room! I never felt pressured to buy anything. Out of all the dress shops I've been to so far, Sophie's selection is massive... You could definitely find something you liked here. The only thing I didn't like was that the sample sizes were a little too small, so I had a hard time picturing what they'd look and feel like in a bigger size. -
