  Alen and Becca were amazing. They were SO accommodating. They made our wedding so fun! They were open to all suggestions we had for them. They also had a lot of helpful suggestions for us as well! I would definitely recommend sound investment to anyone!

  Memorable: We made a sound investment

  To future brides and grooms let me set your mind at ease... Sound Investment DJ is the right choice to make your special day memorable. Their professionalism and upstate NY charm sets them a part. They are a four season DJ and Photo Booth service that offers karaoke if that is what your party needs. My wife and I had our wedding in 2014 on New Years in Upstate NY and Sound Investment was the best investment we could have made. From the happy hour music to the dinner introductions and traditional dances to the new year’s Eve party we put on for our guests we had Alan and his team moving from room to room of our venue and the party never missed a beat. He was our Jack and Jill DJ at Halloween and we could not have asked for anything more from up lighting to Laser light wedding announcement on the dance floor no stone was unturned and the price was the best in town. Alan relocated and now it’s summer all year long so look no further and make the Sound Investment with Alan. We did and we have lived happily ever after since 12/31/14

  Rude and argumentative to our party

  The actual music and dj service was fine but the team is extremely rude and even argued with a couple members of our wedding party, particularly the woman who assists the dj. They also just took over the coordination which really upset our actual wedding coordinator. I wouldn’t recommend them

  You have the wrong DJ Service. On November 9, 2019, we were in route to our home in Florida. I can guarantee it 100% because November 9th is my Birthday! At this point, I am not affiliated with Alan or Sound Investment but, I will defend myself when people are rude to me! You have yourself a great day!

  Horrible services and very rude

  Sound investment DJ was a very terrible company to do business with. Melanie was extremely rude and forceful pushing my bride into everything and very uncooperative. They were extremely rude and did not abide by any of our requests. The agreements we made on music were not anything that we asked for. They would not play any explicit music after 9pm which was agreed upon. Melanie threatened to shut down our event because I was asking for certain songs to be played. They would not take any requests from the girls for songs. They screwed up every single name of my groomsmen and said the wrong last names for my best man. Completely unprofessional and would NEVER EVER recommend them to anybody. For $900 i could of found much better services elsewhere. They reeked of cigarettes through the entire ceremony and reception. 100% wish i would of chose somebody else. I feel bad to anybody who chooses to use them

  Wow! Have never had a bad review on any of our 503 weddings we have DJd. We have top ratings in every site and organizations we are listed. We went above and beyond on this wedding. Traveled 4 hours back and forth giving up a pay job to make their ceremonial rehearsal. He had lost his job so we let them out of our Photobooth contract to give them some financial relief. All week long and up to 7:30 the morning of their wedding they were hitting us with song and bridal party changes. All that we accommodated. Melanie even put a make shift bridesmaid bouquet together because they were short one. All of the songs they asked to be played were played. The groom was absent most of the reception so he couldn’t possibly have known what was played. There were absolutely no mis pronounced bridal party names. I verbally pronounce their names at line up time to reassure that they are right. The GM of the Hilton approached us, unsolicited, and asked for our brochure and card so she could put us on their preferred vendor list. I checked with the groom all through the day with him relaying his satisfaction with our service. The dance floor was active all night and all requests were taken and played with the exception of one. Afro Man. A very explicit song that we refused to play. The groom knew up front we will only play clean versions of explicit songs. The groom became very angry and verbally abusive to my Wife, Melanie, at which point she defended herself and the business. The night manager of the Hilton also advised him that it is their policy not to have explicit music played at their functions. Sadly, we felt bad for this couple and gave them an incredible price. We were with them for 12 hours Officiating the ceremony, ceremonial music and the reception and only charged them five hours. It should be noted that urinal partitions were ripped off the wall in the men’s room and beer taken from behind the bar during closing. The night manager shut down the wedding five minutes early due to the beer being taken. Both the Hilton and us took a lot of abusive during this event. I will say that the Bridesmaids were on the dance floor most of the night and they were a lot of fun. We wish the Bride and Groom the very best and stand by the integrity and professionalism of our business.
