Southpointe was PERFECT. The quality of the service, food, coordinator and the venue was just gorgeous. I would reccomend this to any couple who are planning thier big day. Amazing planning and help form the lovely coordinators.

We got married at Southpointe Golf Club on 5/20/23 and has such a wonderful experience! We have been working with them since July 2021 and Heather, Lauren, and Sydney guided us every step of the way and made the wedding planning process rather seamless. The venue is beautiful, the staff is very organized, and all of our guests have been raving about how excellent the food was. I would recommend anyone to have their wedding here and would definitely plan another event here in the future!

We are SO thankful to the Southpointe Golf Club team for making our wedding dreams come true!!!! We cannot say enough positive things about our experience here. Southpointe was our second venue we went to look at when we got engaged and after seeing the space and talking with Lauren, we were sold. Throughout the entire year the team was so incredibly helpful, responsive, transparent, and overall AMAZING to work with. We had the absolute pleasure of having Michelle as our coordinator and by the time our wedding came around, she felt like family. Michelle, along with the rest of the team truly care about their couples and wanted to make our wedding everything we could dream of plus more. I truly can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else and don’t think we would have had the experience we had if we had our wedding elsewhere.

The day of our wedding, the wedding team was amazing. I truly did not feel stress at all because the team had everything under control, and I trusted them with everything or anything that could have come our way. They made sure every detail was perfect. Our guests had SO much fun and kept saying how smooth everything was. We went with the prestigious package and the vendors Southpointe works with are the best of the best. The food here is also AMAZING. We had so many guests tell us how it was the best wedding food they have ever had, and we couldn’t agree more. Our guests still tell us how they crave the steak or crab stuffed shrimp. I will forever be thankful for the team at Southpointe and will forever be wishing I could relive the day we had there!

My husband and I had our wedding in December and SPGC was the perfect place to host our special day. From start to finish, our day was perfect and it was all thanks to their incredible staff. Lauren was so fun to work with and accommodated all of my ideas. She guided us every step of the way and made the planning process seamless. Can we talk about the food?! Our guests STILL rave about the food we had for dinner - filet and crab cake. I also still dream of the wedding soup. It was months of planning and on the day of my wedding when I walked into the lobby, everything looked absolutely stunning and all of my ideas came to life. The club is such a special place for me and I am so happy we chose to have our wedding there. I will forever be thankful for the team at Southpointe and I wish I could relive it all over again!!!

Lauren, Tara, and the rest of the SPGC staff were such an amazing team to work with. They took care of every tiny detail, including coordinating with vendors and making sure the bridal party was taken care of from the second we stepped food in the building. Not to mention how beautiful the venue is itself. Such a seamless, memorable day - would highly recommend!

Southpointe Golf Club was the absolute BEST venue ever! Lauren, Heather, and Tara were absolutely amazing to work with and I would recommend this venue to anybody. We set up a few days of visiting venues and SPGC ended up being the last one we went to and as soon as we walked in the door, lauren greeted us with a glass of champagne and an awesome personality and just absolutely sold us. From there, there was never any doubts or hesitations on my end that we would be taken care of. Heather, Lauren, and Tara ALL went above and beyond. They answered emails promptly, were willing to meet whenever I felt needed, and always helped me along the way. This brings me to our special day.... We are a few weeks out and are STILL getting compliments on SPGC. The set up, the service, the food, everything.. was PERFECT. We had zero complaints, our families had zero complaints, our guests absolutely LOVED it. I cannot thank the girls and employees of Southpointe enough for making our day absolutely perfect!! Stop thinking about booking and do it!

On behalf of the newly deemed Mr. & Mrs. Metzler, we truly could not be more pleased with the decision to have our Big Day at the wonderful SouthPointe Golf Club.

They made the entire wedding planning process enjoyable and their wedding planning team (Lauren!) was top notch with how organized and easy they were to work with. With timelines for when things needed to be done, connecting us with all their vendors, etc. their entire operation was just very well organized and gave me and my wife confidence that we chose the right venue throughout our engagement. They also did a phenomenal job on our wedding day, flawlessly navigating our 22 Groomsmen & Bridesmaids throughout the day and keeping the whole event on time.

If there’s one thing that we recommend to any couple considering SGC as their wedding venue, it would be to go for it and then relax- your in good hands with the SGC team. They made our wedding day perfect.

1) All of our guests raved about how good the food was. We heard they had good food beforehand, but they definitely lived up to expectations
2) The mock wedding you get to attend to see all the vendors was very cool and unique
3) The vendors who work with SGC were all awesome and nice to work with

The best venue ever! Heather, Lauren and the entire staff were fabulous. Their attention to detail was perfect. The food was amazing and the space gorgeous. We cannot say enough about them all! They made the process seamless.

Lauren and the rest of the staff at Southpointe Golf Club went way above and beyond to ensure we had the most perfect wedding experience. They seriously think of everything! We were treated like VIPs from our very first day touring the venue. Lauren was my main contact and she was so quick to respond to any question/ call/ email I had and was so very helpful. They made the stress of wedding planning so much easier than it would have been. Anytime I thought something would go wrong, the ladies at southpointe had it under control and the day went off without a hitch! I wish I could relive the day again and again it was so beautiful. The food was incredible and so was the service! Everyone kept talking about how beautiful and well kept the club itself is, and on top of that how delicious the appetizers and dinners were. Having my wedding at southpointe golf club was the best decision I could have made. They are an amazing team and they are so professional. Your day will be beautiful- they make sure of that! They literally think of everything. If you have your event there- you will be in wonderful hands! I can’t say enough good things about this club, my experience, and Lauren and the rest of the staff. I am so lucky to have had my ceremony and reception there. 10000% would recommend them to anyone thinking of getting married in the Pittsburgh area! Best of the best!

I had such a great experience with Southpointe Golf Club. They were easy to work with and helped me coordinate every aspect of my reception to my liking. The reception was beautiful and everything I dreamed! I would highly recommend this venue to any couple for their wedding day!

We honestly cannot recommend Southpointe Golf Club enough! From the time we took our first tour until we left on our Wedding night, we have been in complete amazement of the venue and staff. We received so many compliments that night and many days to follow about their food, professionalism and how smoothly the whole wedding ran. Rebecca and her team are the absolute best ❤️ She was always attentive and very responsive to anything we asked of her.

We used the Southpointe Golf Club as our venue and Heather McDowell was our wedding planner! She was amazing! She met with us every step of the way and went over every detail. Heather was always available to answer all my questions, quick to set up a phone call, and calming when a stressful bride felt overwhelmed! It was an honor to work with such a prestigious vendor. Everyone was professional, accommodating, and left me to worry about nothing. Our wedding was perfect. This venue and their staff was beyond amazing and helped make our special day a little extra special.

I cannot recommend Southpointe Golf Club enough for anyone looking at venues outside of the city! Heather and all the staff were wonderful. In the months leading up to the wedding, Heather was always very responsive to answering our numerous emails and questions in a timely manner. She does so much work behind the scenes to make sure the wedding day runs as smoothly as possible. Our bridal party and so many people attending the wedding said it was the most efficient and best planned wedding they had ever been to. There was no stress for my husband and I on our wedding day! I’m addition to all the planning, the venue itself is gorgeous. Having our wedding at the end of October, we took beautiful pictures with the fall trees on the golf course. The food and service exceeded our expectations as well. Looking back, we couldn’t be happier with choosing SGC as our wedding venue!

I can’t put into words how thankful we are that we chose Southpointe Golf Club for our wedding. Everything was perfect. The venue itself looked gorgeous and so classy for our wedding day. The guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was and how smoothly the whole night went with serving 180 guests. Heather, the coordinator was amazing. She did everything for us. She set up the ballroom for us and handled every detail. She allowed us to truly enjoy our day stress free and really just focus on each other and our friends/ family. I really can’t stress enough how patient she was with last min changes and how responsive she was. I would recommend Southpointe Golf Club for everyone! We are so happy and will use Southpointe Golf Club for future events.

After going through many ups and downs with planning our wedding reception from being a Noahs bride and then dealing with covid Southpointe was there through all of it. They truly made our wedding reception amazing. We met with Lauren at Southpointe after Noahs was shut down and we were looking for a new venue. She gave us a personal cars and the gift of wine glasses and we felt so relieved to have a venue that actually cared and was willing to help us make our wedding reception perfect. Heather at Southpointe was also so great to work with, keeping us to up to date on all of our wedding planning needs. We finally got to have our reception on October 1, 2021 and we still have people talking about the venue, food, and overall wedding reception. We can't thank Southpointe enough for helping us plan our dream wedding reception with all the challenges 2020 brought us! It is definitely a night we will never forget! We highly recommend this venue!

Our wedding reception was perfect! We could not have picked a better reception location. Heather was amazing and always available by phone or email to answer both my questions and my mother’s. The food was great and we received a lot of compliments on our French fry bar for our late night snack. You cannot go wrong with picking Southpointe Golf Club for your upcoming wedding or event!

Southpointe Golf Club was the most perfect venue for our wedding day. Heather, Lauren, and the rest of the staff there were so professional, and helpful during the crazy times of planning and executing a COVID wedding. From the beautiful ballroom, to the gorgeous ceremony scene on the patio, we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We lost count of the compliments we received that night and days to follow!! Everyone thought the food was above and beyond and talked about how attentive the servers were. Everyone was very attentive to every email, fantastic job directing Heather team the day of the wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly. Her and her team did an amazing job decorating the hall with items we brought. Every Personal request was considered, whether it was about food or decor etc. We are so happy we found them and chose them to have our wedding at!! Would highly recommend.

If you are planning a wedding and need a venue, don’t even hesitate to book Southpointe Golf Club. After our wedding was postponed a few times in 2020 and needing a new venue, we immediately chose Southpointe Golf Club. Lauren was so incredibly helpful when touring the venue and signing the contract. Heather went above and beyond with helping us plan every single detail of our special day. She is so kind, sweet, and professional and our day would not have been the same without her. She took the stress and worry away when we were our replanning our wedding and helped make it so fun! The venue is absolutely gorgeous & elegant. We had our reception on the patio with a beautiful tent with gorgeous views of the golf course. Our guests are still raving on how breathtaking it was! To add, the food and service was exceptional. We had the best day of our lives and our wedding was beyond what we could have dreamed it to be thanks to Southpointe Golf Club!!

I do not think I will ever be able to thank the team at Southpointe Golf Club enough. When we realized having a wedding downtown during a pandemic would never work, we reached out to them to book and they were amazing to work with. Then, when we had to postpone our 12/12 date, they did everything they could to make me feel at ease and hopeful for our new 4/17 date. Heather is amazing to work with and will answer any question you have. I loved the fact they were all about doing the Christmas in April wedding since we could not have our Christmas December wedding. They put up a Christmas Tree and garland and supported us in this somewhat untraditional idea the entire time. The best part about switching was that I ended up getting the ideal wedding I always dreamed of. Southpointe is gorgeous and it was always the kind of venue I had in my head. The food is amazing and anyone there on staff will help you with anything you need that night. I have recommended Southpointe to a ton of brides and I will continue to do so. Thank you again for everything; you made my dream wedding come true!

From the moment we walked in doing our first tour of the venue until the time we left on our Wedding night, we have been in complete awe of the amazing service and all around attentiveness of the staff. Heather, the Event Coordinator, is a god sent and absolutely AMAZING. I am so Type A, and she made me feel at ease and stress free the entire year that we emailed back and fourth about everything and anything wedding related. So timely, so accommodating and so genuinely invested in making sure our special day went perfectly. We cannot say enough good things. We truly wish we could relive the day over and over again!

We had the most wonderful wedding at Southpointe Golf Club! Heather was the most helpful and kind person to work with. She made every change and roadblock so much more manageable and was able to work with us to make our guests feel safe and also have fun! The food was phenomenal and all our guests could not stop talking about it. Each and every one of the vendors we worked with were so accommodating. I can not thank Heather enough for making our wedding so flawless.

Heather and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. My husband and I knew we wanted SPGC the moment we toured, and Lauren and Heather made the process so easy for us. Southpointe Golf Club is wonderful! They helped us transition from 2 previous reception venues during COVID and put together the wedding of our dreams in just 29 days! They are amazing to work with and take care of you from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding.

I cannot say enough how grateful I am to have been a SPGC bride. I came to SPGC with about a month until my wedding because my original venue was cancelling on us. After postponing once already, I was overwhelmed but determined. Lauren, the sales director, was responsive, kind, understanding, and willing to work with us to have the wedding we had been dreaming about. After signing a contract within 3 days of contacting her, I met our wedding coordinator, Heather. She is my all time favorite human being. Heather understood my vision and made it happen. While we planned a ballroom wedding, COVID forced us outside and Heather was there every step of the way to help me figure out how to get the vibe and style I dreamed of. She FaceTimed me when the tents were set up, she let me change floor plans 5 times, she was honest and helpful every single time we spoke. SPGC had multiple weddings and events in the weeks leading up to my wedding but I felt like the ONLY BRIDE the entire time. Wedding day arrived and Heather and her team executed everything perfectly. She handled some family drama, made my mother feel special and included, figured out how to present my grooms cake and brought my husband a toothbrush when the icing turned his teeth a funky color. Her team brought me my own plate of mashed potatoes when it became clear they were my favorite part of the meal and kept our drinks full through dinner. My parents said they felt like VIPs. Everyone raved about the food, especially the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer. Every staff member was aware of the entire plan for the event and who the important people were. I felt like royalty. Not to mention the gorgeous views my guests were able to enjoy all night. Planning a wedding in 2020 was a rollercoaster but landing at SPGC was an absolute blessing. My day was perfect and Heather gets so much credit for it. SPGC was worth every penny.
