    You need to hire SAV!

    I purchased decor from Blaire of Sparkles and Vintage and started following her on social media. Her design work with event planning and florals is absolutely stunning!

    I had already hired a different month-of-coordinator, but if I could do it all over again, I would hire Blaire in a heartbeat!

    She’s absolutely amazing and was always willing to give me great advice and recommendations for my wedding even though she wasn’t my coordinator! I can only imagine the lengths she would go to in order to help her own clients! :)

    She was so much more helpful in my wedding planning than my own coordinator and I keep kicking myself for just taking a loss on my deposit with my coordinator and hiring Sparkles and Vintage instead.

    Dream wedding come true thanks to SAV!!!

    We originally hired Blaire to do our wedding florals only. Blaire went out of her way to send us multiple design plans that fit our style and our budget. We had a separate wedding planner, unfortunately, things were not going well and I found myself reaching out to Blaire for advice on a regular basis. My husband and I made the decision to forfeit the deposit we had already paid for the original wedding planner and hired Blaire to do the design and reception coordination. Blaire suggested we start with a clean slate and revamp the reception design. Even though we had to start from scratch with all the vendors, it was such a fun and positive experience. Being in a unique position to compare the services of two wedding planners, it is so clear that Blaire has great attention to detail, a great working relationship with vendors, instinctive creativity and she truly cares about her clients. I have a very Type A personality but I had 100% trust in Blaire and I was truly able to enjoy our absolutely amazing day because I knew she had everything under control. Walking into our venue was a dream come true. Our night was truly perfect, I did not hear about any hiccups (vendor and guest related) until after we returned from our honeymoon. Blaire has such a positive and infectious energy and I cannot wait for her to help us plan events for the future milestones in our lives.

    Hire sav - they're amazing!

    Blaire is simply amazing. Read no further. Hire Sparkles and Vintage! She assisted us with event planning, day of coordination, and florals for our wedding in San Diego in June 2019. She is so easy to get along with and fun to work with, and my parents and in-laws loved her too! She did a great job in understanding our vision and turned it in to something even better than I could have possibly imagined. She was very detailed and thorough during the planning and thought of every aspect of the wedding. Blaire has a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable during rehearsal and the day of, and she is extremely organized. The entire SAV team is very detail-oriented and caring. Blaire had excellent and timely communication! Highly recommend Blaire and SAV!

    Blaire’s floral work is absolutely stunning. I wanted a bouquet on the smaller size even though I was the bride (who usually have larger ones) and she delivered! It was so perfect (color, size, design, everything!). My husband wanted a succulent boutonniere and she delivered as well! I didn’t really have a vision with our other floral decorations and trusted Blaire’s recommendations and judgment. Everything turned out so beautiful. Thank you Blaire and Sparkles and Vintage team!

    Blaire and her team are AMAZING and saved my wedding life. My husband and I live in NYC and got married in LA. Blaire was extremely flexible and patient as my husband and I were working crazy hours on the east coast and supported us in ways that I never knew we would need during this planning process. Unbeknownst to us, our venue underwent a grand opening, and Blaire was there to help me stay calm and design around the surprise paint jobs that caused me to panic as they completely clashed with our original design. The night before our wedding, we experienced obstacles with our venue management that resulted in last minute changes. Blaire and her team made game-time decisions that were executed flawlessly, and left the design looking better than I could have imagined. During the wedding, we experienced some hiccups, but Amanda and Jenn went beyond above and beyond to manage the situation, keep us calm, comfortable, and positive so that we could fully enjoy our day. Blaire and her team are so much of the reason why we were able to have the wedding of our dreams despite the hiccups caused by our venue. She made this process fun as she is personable, enthusiastic, and will lift you up when it is most needed. I can’t thank Sparkles and Vintage enough and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Blaire and her team for planning, coordination, flowers, and design. Blaire and her team are brilliant, passionate, and SO AMAZING at what they do!

    Sparkles & Vintage made my wedding dreams a reality!

    Blaire from Sparkles & Vintage is a Godsend to the world of wedding planning!
    My husband and I knew from the moment we interviewed with Blaire over the phone that we wanted to work with her.
    She has so much personality and energy and at the same time is super focused, answering all of your questions and taking care of any and all of your concerns.
    I had so much stress leading up to the wedding but every time I spoke to Blaire she took those worries away. I trusted her 100% to make my wedding beautiful and perfect and she did not disappoint.
    I also had to fire my florist just a few months before the wedding which was super stressful but Blaire came in and saved the day. I told her what happened and what I was looking for in terms of colors and flowers and she drafted a floral proposal for me and a mock-up of the centerpieces and I was sold. I hired her to do the florals for my wedding and I am so happy I did because they were so beautiful.
    Honestly, I would recommend Sparkles and Vintage to anyone who is looking for a wedding planner or a florist. Blaire is definitely a rockstar! I couldn't imagine hiring anyone else for the job.

    Hired Blaire and Sparkles + Vintage for a proposal + engagement party. The event was at a private home in Van Nuys, and I was planning from New York City where my fiance and I live.

    Blaire was AMAZING to work with - she not only made my vision come true but she blew it out of the water. Blaire set up a OUTSTANDING proposal in the front yard with candles, lights, flowers and signs. She then had a perfect step-by-step move from the proposal into the party, where she decked out the backyard with beautiful furniture, an amazing jazz band, KILLER tacos, and more. The home was unrecognizably beautiful, everything was perfectly orchestrated. We could not be happier or more blown away, and I wish I could take any credit for how perfect the day went or how amazing the party was!

    Blaire and her team are incredibly professional, creative and super sweet! Blaire was in constant communication with me for MONTHS, providing frequent updates and keeping me on budget. On the day of her team was fun, professional and helpful. My mom noted that at the end of a LONG day and night of planning and execution when everyone was exhausted, Blaire could not have been more supportive and friendly to her employees.

    Overall she MADE my proposal (no one can stop talking about how beautiful the set up was), she crushed every detail I asked for and thought of about 1 million details I could have never come up with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

    Blaire was our DOC for our wedding a month ago! I loved working with her! I hired her about 6 months before our big day and she was super supportive throughout then when one month deadline hit she took over. She kept in touch with my vendors, let me know how things were going, and listened to my vision for the wedding. I literally sent her a bunch of flowers from the ceremony to the reception for her to set up as she sees fit and it looked beautiful. She really wants you to have a beautiful wedding day and will aim to make it as stress free as possible! Thanks Blaire!

    I have worked with Sparkles and Vintage at a few events. talk about having a "friend in the biz", Blaire (the owner) will become a fast friend as she guides you on your planning journey. Blaire and her team are sensational. If you are looking for a wedding planner that will oversee all details, SAV is the company for you. Its important these days when planning a celebration, to deal with professionals right from the beginning. Especially if you want to save money! Our mentality is buy right, or buy twice! Planning weddings or Planning Parties seems like its easy, but the attention to detail is where SAV really stands out. I can't recommend them enough. Whether planning a wedding, planning a party, planning a sweet 16 or planning a birthday party, sparkles and vintage is your one stop shop!     Sparkles and Vintage was wonderful in allowing us unlimited phone calls when we had questions about design or aesthetic. She created a timeline and revised it promptly when needed. They helped walk us through our rehearsal and kept our actual wedding day on track and running according to our timeline. Sparkles and Vintage also gifted us with several rentals for free.

    I can't rave enough about Blaire and her team at Sparkles and Vintage. From my very first meeting with Blaire to tell her my crazy idea of doing a modern Renaissance themed wedding to calling her whenever things got crazy with friends and family to being completely amazed with her work on our wedding day, Sparkles and Vintage surpassed all of our expectations. On our first meeting, Blaire came prepared with tons of great ideas that made me feel like our wedding was special to her. She is incredibly passionate about her work and will do everything in her power to make sure you have the day of your dreams.

    We hired her in December for 6 months of planning for our wedding in June. Her team designed a gorgeous custom backdrop for our photobooth and did lots of other arts and crafts projects like ribbon wands to make our event truly one-of-a-kind. The whole event looked like it was out of a fairy tale and it was all thanks to Sparkles and Vintage. Blaire was there every step of the way to make sure I remained stress-free, knew what to do and when to do it, and helped us save a lot of money by connecting us with her incredible florist, DJ and bakery. She was honest about the things that we should splurge on and what we should not bother spending money on. She was very detail-oriented and made sure that every aspect of the wedding was personalized and stayed true to what we wanted.

    On the day of my wedding, she wrangled all of my crazy family and friends, executed the most beautiful reception room and probably did WAY more than I even noticed because I was able to relax and drink mimosas while the insanity ensued.

    Blaire Kimball from Sparkles & Vintage events is the best! Blaire was one of the most professional, responsive, and organized vendor my (now) husband and I experienced throughout the wedding planning process. Not only is Blaire a genuinely happy person and a delight to work with, but she also "gets" the stresses that come with planning and will do what she can to ensure it all works out perfectly! We loved our vintage furniture rental (which we made into a special "Selfie Lounge"); we received, and continue to receive, so many compliments on the setup and team! If you're looking for furniture/decor, wedding/day of coordinator, etc. Blaire and her team does it all! Please check them out, you won't regret it!

    WOW. This is probably the hardest of all the wedding reviews for me to write because this (work) relationship ended up being the most important, influential and most game changing. Where to even start? We first met Blaire at the big LA Convention Center Bride Expo, her display drew us in like a pair of bears to honey (not sure how accurate that is...). I'm sure everyone says this about their wedding coordinator but Blaire and the Sparkles and Vintage family ARE THE BEST IN THE BIZ. When I first started calling vintage rental vendors, SAV was based in LA so I called local companies and actually was snubbed and ignored more than once. But from our first meeting to our last, Blaire has been as memorable, beautiful and inviting as her rentals (s/o to the beautiful Haddie...the couch I first fell in love with). This relationship ended up being so much more than just rentals and I am so happy and blessed to have met her!


    Somehow, Blaire understood both me and everything I wanted. It was probably such a daunting task to set up and organize all these random crafts that my family and I lovingly constructed but she took this event as though it was her own wedding. She set everything perfectly and even better. I was so busy planning all other aspects of the wedding that I never thought of what to do about our sweetheart table but guess what? Blaire did. People cannot stop talking about our wedding and Blaire/SAV was a HUGE part of that. Above and beyond does not cover what SAV does, that's just the tip of the iceberg.Blaire understood my vision which in my life has been rare, over active imagination I've been told. Blaire made me wedding dreams a real thing, she took all the elements and made it into a day..an event. I am still left breathless thinking about it.

    I hired Blaire to be my wedding day of coordinator. It was probably the best decision of my wedding. I have a big family, and it is very diverse. I wanted a coordinator who could handle my Black side, my Chinese side and my husband's Latino side. Blaire wrote a very detailed timeline, and she stuck to it. She had herself and a team of three other girls at my wedding making sure everything went perfect. My flower girl arrived 2 minutes before the ceremony was going to start, was I stressed? No, because Blaire had been training a replacement flower girl on standby just in case. Did I remember to eat? I wouldn't have if Blaire hadn't gently lead me to the table and made sure that I ate something. There was a lot going on that I didn't have to worry about because Blaire and her team took care of everything. I really and truly adore Blaire, she is such a wonderful human being and she is so good at her job. She used to work in catering so she understands the flow of food at a wedding, she used to be in drama so she can project her voice and direct people with ease. She was even able to calm down my very stressed out mother. She is patient, kind and a wonderful day of coordinator. If you want your wedding day to go by smoothly, then hire Blaire and her team. You won't regret it. They even have walkie talkies so you feel like your the president and Blaire and her team are a part of the secret service.

    I used Blaire as my event coordinator and she was wonderful. She always called and checked in and took charge the day of. I had some issues with my decoration vendor and she stepped in and tired her best to resolve the issue. Blaire is very professional, attentive and organized. She is the best!

    The most beautiful vintage items I've ever seen all put together in one place. I feel so lucky to have met a decorator who cares, be a part of my wedding. She truly took the time and dedication to make sure every detail was perfect. If your looking for a person who wants to make your vision come true, (for your special day) this is the way to go.     I rented these gorgeous pink chairs, wooden doors (freshly painted for me!), vintage suitcases, and some tabletop gold accents for my daughters royal birthday bash! My vision was to set up a little vintage lounge area for the little princesses at the party. Sparkles and Vintage helped me turn that vision into a gorgeous reality!

    Blaire was a pleasure to work with. She was very professional, always got back to my emails (and texts) in a timely manner, and she is very flexible. She made sure our schedules worked out from the time we met to choose the items at her shop, all the way to the pick up at the venue! I would definitely recommend Sparkles and Vintage to put a gorgeous vintage touch to any event! She's got beautiful and unique pieces!

    She was amazing at what she did. She took my ideas and totally ran with them. I contacted other people with my ideas that specialized in tea parties and no one really understood my brain. But Blaire TOTALLY 100% got me. She was super fast with responses. I loved her spunky attitude and she felt like family. Love Sparkles and Vintage and I'd recommend her again and again to anyone!! :]

    Blaire of Sparkles and Vintage created several decor items for my wedding in Cincinnati, OH. I saw several of her designs and fell in love with her unique style... I knew it was exactly what I was looking for when planning my winter wonderland of a wedding!

    She designed my reception hair piece that really tied in with my simple, yet elegant, wedding dress. Her attention to detail blew me away... even on this little piece of jewelry. That really showed me she appreciated what she was doing for me - and added a little piece of flair to my wedding attire!

    She also designed an amazing card holder that was a four-tier handmade paper wedding cake with gorgeous accents of flowers in all my wedding colors. The detail alone was out-of-this-world! And, she shipped it, partially assembled, with easy to construct final instructions since I was in Ohio.

    I received so many compliments on the uniqueness and style her designs added to my dream wedding. And, being the type A personality I am, I was thoroughly impressed with how detailed and organized she was; making it easy to pull our ideas together even though I was in Ohio and she was in LA. She was easy to work with throughout the entire process, listening to what I wanted and offering her professional input and design ideas.

    I would highly recommend anyone use Sparkles and Vintage to add that classic vintage with a modern twist that offers a certain level of uniqueness and style to create a beautiful event! Thanks, Blaire!!

    I cannot express my thanks to Blaire and her team. From the moment I called her, she was responsive and paid attention to the details. I did an initial planning meeting, one month before planning and furniture rentals.

    At our initial planning meeting, Blaire took notes and was sure to get the ball rolling on things we wanted; color palette, ribbons, furniture, piñatas for our dogs, papel picado, etc.We texted from time to time and she helped me with an invitation vendor that could meet our very picky needs.

    Once we got to the one month date, she was on it! She would circle back with all my vendors to be sure that details were agreed to and signed off on. She helped my facilitate payments and we talked often to sure be no detail was missed.

    The day of planning was awesome! Because we had a restaurant setting, I gave Blaire the option to use the space the best she saw fit. When I showed up, it was perfect! She used the space in an amazing way! It felt intimate and special and not like a restaurant at all (which is exactly what we wanted).

    My friends and family said that Blaire was cordial to everyone and the owner of the restaurant said she really had it together (which she does!). If you want a personal relationship with a wedding planner that feels painless, then Blaire is awesome. I'm not sure about the ONE star review because Blaire executed every vision I had and even went out of her way to find someone to make us dog piñatas (because our dogs couldn't attend the wedding).

    I had a unique situation when looking for a day of wedding planner as my florist was part of my wedding party. When I explained to Blaire that I needed someone to be able to help with that on the day, she jumped at the challenge, and even though she was more than I was willing to spend, I went with her anyway because of this fact. Besides our site visit, which I had to initiate with her, the next time I heard from her was three days before the wedding when I had vendors contacting me because they had not received a timeline yet. I was unhappy with the timeline she gave us and even after I told her what I had wanted, it came back worse, so myself and a friend ended up doing the entire timeline for my wedding, one of her responsibilities. It was also at this time that she informed me when she would be able to get there on the day which I told her would not be enough time, and that the florals were not her hob and therefore she would not be able to help me with that. (The whole reason I hired her.) During the wedding, I felt as though everything went well, however, the morning after the wedding, the first day of our Honeymoon, we got an email from Blaire outlining in detail everything that went wrong and all that she was upset about. Talk about unprofessional! She was upset that some of my bridesmaids were helping her and ended up "stepping on her toes", which as I reminded her if she had done her job, she she was paid to do, they wouldn't have needed to. My parents and family ended up having to do a lot of the clean up at the end of the night as well.

    Overall, I felt that Blaire was very unprepared for my wedding, by her own fault for not having a meeting with me where I could have told her all that was happening. Whenever a problem occurred, instead of solving it herself, she asked others for help then got upset when they solved it. She was unprofessional and very inexperienced. Hopefully this was a learning experience for her.
