We had our wedding in SV this March. It was absolutely amazing! We chose it because of their amazing wine (we are wine lovers!), great landscape and really friendly and knowledgeable day of coordinator (Lauren). Lauren was an awesome day of coordinator and really helped make our day even more amazing. Before the event she was very helpful and made sure to answer of all of our questions in a timely manner. She is very nice and really knows her game about coordinating weddings. Our event went without any issues. SV is such a beautiful place!! We did our wedding under the trees which provided good amount of shade and all the plants really added a special touch. We followed Lauren's recommendations for food, beer and rental vendors, and we couldn't be happier. We saved significant amounts of money and everybody loved the food! Also the best food I have had in a wedding hah. The wine is so good!! Certainly one of our favorite. We are part of the wine club now :D All in all, we 100% recommend SV and working with Lauren. We are so happy and thankful for having had this much luck and having had such a perfect day.

My husband and I got married in September. With Covid being current we weren't sure how it would play a roll in our wedding. Lauren was so helpful and allowed us to make changes to our plans in ways to make it the day we had hoped for. She was such a great help during the planning process. We got married under the big oak trees. The ceremony was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Our reception was an absolute blast! Lauren made sure we spent our special day enjoying ourselves. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was

Texas Charm!! When chosing a venue my husband and I knew we wanted a vineyard in Texas Hill Country. After visiting surrounding vineyards, we knew Spicewood was the place for us! The area is surrounded by vineyards and cobble stone. It is a warm and romatic location. And not to mention the wine is to die for. Lauren was a pleasure to work with and helped us in every step during our planning. When it came down to the day of Lauren was on top of everything and made sure the day went without a hitch!!

My son’s wedding at Spicewood was perfect in every way! The ceremony was out under the oaks and all our guests agreed it could not have been a more beautiful setting. The photographs taken in the vineyard and wine cellar are absolutely stunning. Lauren was wonderful to work with; her pre-planning was extremely well-organized and covered all the bases, and her wedding-day coordination eliminated the stress of making sure everything got done - we didn’t worry about a thing and were able to simply enjoy every minute of the day and night! The vendors she recommended were all amazing. And of course the delicious wine at Spicewood was the icing on the cake! Highly recommend!

We couldn't have asked for a more amazing wedding and Spicewood Vineyards (and their event coordinator, Lauren) made it happen! We got married in April 2019 with about 80 guests, and everything was just magical, from the weather to the gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony. The indoor space is perfect for an intimate reception that still has plenty of room for a dance party! They can also easily move an outdoor ceremony indoors with a few hours notice. Lauren helped us plan and pick our vendors in addition to running the show the day of, and I can't imagine things running so smoothly without her! I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a Hill Country wedding!

Our experience at Spicewood Vineyards for our wedding venue was amazing and unforgettable. We were luckily paired with the amazing Lauren Spocetta as our planner and she made the celebration so breezy to plan. Everything that we planned went smoothly and in a timely manner. I can’t thank this venue enough for the beautiful scenery and staff for the best night ever. They suggested our photographer, caterer, blooms, and beverage supply and all were amazing!! All we had to do was give the thumbs up and everything was taken care of. If you’re looking for a place for an inside or outside ceremony, reception inside/outside, amazing views during the day and lighting at night, and the whole place to yourselves??? Spicewood Vineyards is where you want to be. You won’t regret it!

If you are thinking of having a vineyard wedding in the Texas Hill country, this is the place! Choosing Spicewood Vineyards as our wedding venue was the absolute best decision. Lauren, the event coordinator, was phenomenal. We live in Washington, DC so we planned our entire wedding from a distance. Lauren worked with us throughout our year-long engagement, answering every single email and phone call. The day of the wedding, Lauren handled every single coordination issue. My groom and I were able to peacefully enjoy our wedding day.

The event center is spacious and beautiful. It's great that they allow you to bring in your own caterer and other vendors. This saved us thousands of dollars. The wine here is honestly the best in Texas! It's also great that you get a significant discount on the wine. We had many wine aficionado guests from California and they were all impressed at how good the Spicewood Vineyards wine was. The bar tenders that Spicewood provided were also excellent. The ladies made sure that our glasses were filled at all times.

After the wedding, it felt like the staff were part of the family. I am looking forward to going back and celebrating anniversaries here. I am also crossing my fingers, hoping that they start shipping wine to the east coast.

Spicewood Vineyards was the perfect place for our wedding event. It is an inviting and warm environment with a beautiful back drop. Lauren and the staff were great to work with from start to finish, and after.

We decided to get married with the vineyard behind us, but there were other lovely spots that we could have used as our backdrop if we so chose. The hall is available for the ceremony, but we used it for our reception. It is an easy place to decorate for most styles. We had just under 100 people and felt that there was enough room to dance and mingle. The wrap around porch was a great place for four 'cocktail hour' and relax.

Some of the perks with the venue include tables, chairs, and Lauren! She was perfect for our day of coordinator. Lauren always responded in a timely manner and was always willing to talk to us if we randomly showed up at the vineyard. She offered great tips, was quick with problem solving, shared some helpful resources, and was not shy to getting things done. Her experience shows in her ability to keep calm and keeping the event going when something unexpectedly happens (like when the bride's father manages to cancel a shuttle right before the ceremony).

There is not enough room to go on about how much we love this place and the people who work there!

We loved having our ceremony and reception at Spicewood! The venue was incredible, and the price was perfect.

Lauren acted as our day-of coordinator and she did a phenomenal job. We ended up doing the ceremony inside due to the possibility of rain and Lauren walked us through making the call, then handled the changeover. She was absolutely incredible.

We loved the facilities, loved the staff, and loved the wines! We're so glad this is the place we chose to have our special day!

Lauren was amazing on the day of our wedding. She kept me relaxed about having to move our ceremony location indoors due to weather and made sure my husband and I had time to reflect on our ceremony by ourselves. That was also awesome! Everyone at Spicewood was so kind and helpful. The location is beautiful. I highly recommend!

We had so many compliments on our wedding at Spicewood Vineyards and I can't recommend them enough! We toured lots of gorgeous but wedding-factory-esque venues in Austin/Houston, and then we found Spicewood. I think we both knew it was our spot after we saw people enjoying wine on the patio, the owner's dog casually roaming about, and the venue coordinator poured us a glass of excellent wine. We wanted to get married outside and have the reception inside - luckily the weather worked out for us - but they had an equally-as-awesome rainy day plan.

We originally worked with Spicewood's venue coordinator, Marie, and she was fantastic. After she moved, Spicewood hired another excellent lady, Lauren, and the planning transition was seamless. Lauren was great with answering any questions and the whole venue was very flexible with requests. We loved that Spicewood had no vendor restrictions and they were very "yes" - other venues were quite the opposite. We were able to have the wedding of our dreams in this beautiful vineyard.

As wine lovers, we also chose Spicewood because of their wine selection - if you haven't visited, at least go for a tasting! Alcohol and budget were important to us - we were stumped by other venue's $25+ per person open bar fees, restrictions on bringing in alcohol, and selling Beringer for $15+fee per bottle (say what?!). Spicewood provided us with their label's red and white for a fraction of what they sell it for in the tasting room...it's also great wine, none of that Beringer business. You can also provide your guests with any of their wine for a discount. We had kegs and champagne brought in, no problems at all. Our guests loved trying different wines and our wallet was happy too!

Overall, we were so impressed with Spicewood Vineyards/Lauren and would highly recommend them again and again. The venue is an outstanding choice for a beautiful hill country wedding.

Hidden Gem in Hill Country of Austin!
I came across Spicewood Vineyards after searching for places to get married at in Texas that were not in Fredericksberg. I found that Spicewood Vineyards made top ten vineyards to get married from Texas Monthly magazine. And once I did a little more research, I knew it was the place for us. What sold me right away were the reviews for the flexible option for a back up rain plan if we weren't able to have an outdoor ceremony. Well, our wedding was November 7, 2015 which it rained nearly the entire week before, the day before and luckily (maybe?) the day of our wedding. So we were one of those couples that had to switch to the back up rain plan. Even though it wasn't my choice, the indoor option of the event center was absolutely beautiful and the cathedral style windows made it feel like we were in a chapel in the woods. The other positives that stuck out were that Spicewood was very dog friendly. So much so that every time we visited in the preceding months prior to the wedding, we always saw several dogs running around the property. We asked if our boxer, Casey, could be in the wedding and they didn't even hesitate. Casey walked down the aisle with our ring bearer and sat right next to my husband during the entire ceremony! Lastly, when I was researching vendors, the most important quality I look for is their responsiveness to emails. We worked with Marie in the beginning during the planning then Lauren took over Marie's position. Both these ladies were so on top of returning my emails and answering any questions. The owner, Ron, also went above and beyond to make our day perfect. It was such a pleasant experience from start to finish. Spicewood Vineyards is truly a hidden gem not to mention their wine is top tier Texas wine!

We just had our ceremony and reception at Spicewood Vineyards and, hands down, it was the best decision we made about our wedding! The venue itself is beautiful - tucked away in the Hill Country, the indoor reception area and outdoor ceremony options are really picturesque. There are great options for "first look" pictures (if you're planning to do that) and a beautiful wine barrel room where you can also take pictures. Marie, the venue coordinator, is a bride's dream - she is super responsive, she is flexible, and she calms you down if you're ever getting stressed during planning. I have to say - Marie went above and beyond - on our wedding day, there were flash floods (we later learned that the governor declared a state of emergency!) - while that could have been a total stress-inducing nightmare, Marie handled it superbly. She put as at ease - our guests didn't even notice what was going on because they were having fun and drinking the superb Spicewood Vineyards wine. Marie even went out onto the roads to check them periodically so that she could report back to us. She was amazing! We received countless compliments on how fabulous the venue was - we had at least 2 friends tell us they wished they'd gotten married at Spicewood. If you're looking for a venue that creates an intimate, beautiful setting - with a fabulous coordinator and delicious wine - Spicewood Vineyards is for you!

The first time my now husband and I went to visit Spicewood Vineyards we knew it was where we were going to get married. It is laid back and beautiful. The reception hall is stunning. We are so happy with our choice to get married at the vineyard. Marie the events coordinator was amazing. We knew nothing about wedding planning and she walked us through everything making it super simple, and easy for us to understand. All our friends and family were super impressed and absolutely loved it. Half our party flew in from New York to be there and they could not stop raving about how gorgeous the vineyard was. I couldn't be happier with out decision.

While this was a drive from the church, it was totally worth it. Marie was sensational!! So sweet and professional. She responded to all my questions, phone calls, and numerous visits to the site. The wine is quality and setting was so relaxed. We crammed 230ish people in there. It was tight, but we were able to make it work. If I could go back, I'd cut down the # of people - we were able to use the outside wrap around patio which helped. She did all the set up with the supplies we gave her. The chairs are really nice and the flow worked out well. She knows what shes doing . The day of the wedding - cool as a cucumber. She kept things flowing for me, she would just show up with a smile, kindly ask how I was and what I needed. Stealthy!! She really was a ninja. Loved that we got to use the wine barrels. Guests got to spread out on the lawn. Highly recommend, but maybe for a medium sized guest list.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of wedding venue. The venue itself is so gorgeous we did not need much as far as decorations and flowers. We liked the feel of using both the outdoor and indoor spaces, and both are stunning at Spicewood Vineyards. I wanted a rustic feel but several places we looked at were just TOO rustic. For us, this venue hit the nail on the head with a rustic "chic" feel. Marie was our day-of coordinator and was an integral part of making our day run smoothly. She made sure everything was perfect and the day would not have been as flawless without her. The air conditioner actually went out a couple of hours before the wedding and I had no idea - with our wedding being in the middle of June this would have been very bad. Marie and the staff, along with some of my family, made sure it was fixed before guests arrived and even kept me from finding out so that I wouldn't stress. The pictures turned out beautifully and everyone raved about how amazing the venue was and how much fun they had!!

My (new) husband and I were recently married at Spicewood Vineyards. The day itself was a perfect whirlwind of family, friends, food, and dancing. Spicewood was an incredible venue and the employees went out of their way to ensure that we had a perfect day.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. They have an indoor event space on site that is the perfect blend of rustic and elegant. Inside, there is a beautiful, all-wood bar and amazing wood rafters. Outside, there is a wide open patio which is perfect for cocktail hour and a creek surrounded by trees which served as the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. The pictures of our wedding are stunning in large part due to the beautiful surroundings.

Before and during the wedding, Marie, Spicewood's day-of coordinator, was an amazing source of knowledge, experience, and organization. Luckily for us (and our budget), Marie's services are included in the cost of the venue, but even if this hadn't been the case, we would have hired her to organize our day. She met with us about two weeks before the wedding to discuss seating, the event timeline, etc. Her expertise and knowledge was invaluable - she brought up several potential issues that we had not considered and offered us simple but brilliant solutions. On the wedding day, she and her staff helped organize the various vendors and deliveries and had already set up most of the chairs/tables by the time we arrived (at 1:00 pm). She ensured that everything - from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception - went smoothly and coordinated with the DJ/photographer for all of the important moments (our entry, bouquet toss, etc.). We truly had the perfect, stress-free, problem-free wedding and it was all because of Marie's experience and expertise.

This had turned into a long post and so I will end here: Spicewood is a beautiful setting for a wedding and the staff ensure that your day is perfect. We could not have found a better venue for our day.

Annie is amazing and such a fun sweet person to be around. She was very helpful on my wedding day keeping stress low and everything organized and running smoothly. The vineyard is so beautiful the way it is, we barely needed to provide any kind of decoration. A wonderful venue. And I cant forget to mention the tasty wine ;)

Spicewood Vineyards was the most amazing place to get married. For our June 2nd wedding, the vines were lush and green, creating the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and some amazing photos in the actual vineyards. Lauren was awesome to work with and was able to calm any of my worries about set up, weather, or having to take home too much rose. All the wine is provided by the venue and doing tastings is the perfect excuse to keep going back over and over before the day of. While they're not involved in the event itself, the staff at the vineyards are so nice and recognized us after our first visit. The indoor event space was wonderful for our reception and was super comfortable for our 75 guests and epic dance party. It was so nice to be able to do makeup and get dressed on site. The venue is also wheelchair accessible which was really important to me. One of the best parts of a summer wedding was getting to go down into the barrel room to take pictures. It was so cool after sweating through the ceremony and our photographer loved working in the space as well. Overall I could not have been happier with my venue choice. Spicewood is the perfect Texas vineyard with good wine to boot!

My husband and I got married at Spicewood Vineyard a few weeks ago and we were so pleased and happy with the experience! The week following the wedding we had several guests reach out to us and tell us that they LOVED the venue and thought it was such a perfect place for our ceremony. Lauren (our venue / day of coordinator) was also extremely helpful leading up to the big day and when the day was here, we had nothing to worry about! We would highly recommend this venue for your special day and afterwards, it's a great winery to keep coming back to for delicious wine and great memories.

We had our wedding in June, and Marie did an excellent job with the coordination. It's very stress relieving knowing you have someone with a wealth of experience whom can guide you in the right direction to make your day memorable. There are a few flaws - you cannot have beer cans or bottles due to the name brand? I found that odd, but we got past it by just pouring them in solo cups. Also, no liquor which is ok, but I highly recommend spending the money to do Sangria (Marie makes this for you from scratch). It was a huge hit at our wedding, and it was gone before we came in from photos. All in all, a great experience I would recommend this beautiful venue.

We cannot be happier that we had our wedding at Spicewood Vineyards. It turned out wonderful and we got nonstop compliments from our guests. The venue is so gorgeous you need minimal decorations which makes it even better! The house wine they offer you at a discount is a great value and it's tasty. The wedding coordinator knows her stuff and she did a great job on our Big Day. I would totally recommend this place to anyone. The price is beyond great considering what all you get.

We are totally enamored with the property and their wine, we received a lot of compliments on the beauty of the place. We enjoyed the staff the entire time all the way up to the actual wedding day; we did have issues the day of the wedding with the lack of communication between the venue coordinator and our florist. We had the boutineers misplaced for a long time that we had to call the florist herself to ask "where they were?" flowers that were supposed to have been brought back inside to the venue after the ceremony were not, decorations and details were not as discussed.
