  SO HAPPY with Sarah's work! She is the best!

  I am so grateful to Sarah for making our dream wedding come true! She is extremely organized and professional. She has a positive energy that put me and my husband at ease with the stress of such a big event. I cannot recommend her enough! Sarah is amazing!

  Sarah made our dream wedding!

  I never do this, but because our wedding was so amazing I had to provide a positive review. Sarah was our coordinator and everything from managing our budget to dealing with difficult decisions was taken care of with professionalism and sensitivity. My wife has not stopped raving about our wedding and how it was exactly as she imagined it to be. This was all because of Sarah and her exceptional planning and coordinating.

  I wish I could give her more than 5 stars! Sarah made our wedding dreams come true. Her professionalism from the very beginning to the very end was amazing. She is prompt, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. The service was spectacular. I am beyond happy with my experience. If you are looking for a wedding planner, this is it. No need to look further. You won’t regret it!!!! Sarah was absolutely critical to making our wedding perfect.

  Unforgettable and Amazing

  Sarah helped me plan my daughter's 15th birthday (quinceanera).
  It was such an easy and pleasant experience. She really prides herself on making us happy and ensures we are all set up to enjoy the day. I travel a lot for my work and Sarah ensured to set aside time on her busy weekend to meet with us during the whole process. Overall my experience was very pleasant and I definitely recommend her to all of my friends and family.

  Excellent wedding planner!

  Sarah is amazing she really executed our vision perfectly!! Everything was exactly how I envisioned! She was very efficient and was really helpful in last minute decisions we were making. She also really helped with price matching for us. Overall she was so helpful, so friendly and made our wedding dreams come true!!

  Sarah was amazing! She was friendly, kind and a whole lot of fun! She styled my hair and did my makeup, I looked fantastic and felt beautiful. I did not know what I wanted at all and she patiently guided me through some options and suggestions until we got the perfect look. I am so happy with her services and recommend her completely. If you haven't picked up the phone yet I suggest doing so now :)

  Horrible Experience

  Hiring Sarah (Spotlight Designs) was the worst mistake we made for our wedding. She was unorganized, unprofessional, and incompetent.
  
  She hired her team out to cover another wedding on our date, leaving her and her husband to work the event. Because of this, our guests cleared the venue after the party. Before the cleaning was done, Sarah handed my mother the keys, told her how to lock up, and left. The groom and I missed our after party because we didn’t want to leave our guests cleaning until midnight. We also missed our cocktail hour because we had to help set up - the venue was not ready when guests were arriving. The schedule was behind for the entire night.
  
  An estimated $3000+ of materials went unused - we found boxes she didn’t even open.
  
  There were many miscommunications. Sarah seemingly did not read my emails, forgot or ignored things we discussed, and failed to use checklists I provided her.
  
  Sarah did not communicate clearly with the table rental company, which caused conflict the day before the event. She failed to post signs for the bathrooms, resulting in long lines, didn’t set up the desserts as planned, didn’t set up the cocktail hour at all, didn’t serve the ice cream, etc etc.
  
  Many of the few things Sarah did do, I had to redo - I rewrote contracts for basic spelling/grammar/clarity, redid the venue layouts, the seating chart, etc. She got me the final venue layout, which was incorrect even after we talked about it multiple times, two days before the wedding.
  
  We requested a partial reimbursement.
  Sarah ghosted us.
  
  Don’t make our mistake. Go with anyone else or do it yourself.
