  Hire Rob Right Now!

  We booked Rob for our wedding at Dove Ridge on 10/15/2022.
  From the moment we got on the initial Zoom call with Rob, we knew that he was the photographer for us! We truly loved every moment that we spent with Rob. From day one, we could see his expertise shine through each conversation. He has shot so many weddings at Dove Ridge, that we knew off the bat he would know where to go and what to do. While we didn't need more engagement photos by the time that we booked with Rob, we still did the shoot with him to get to know him in person. It helped so much with the day of! I was able to text Rob any time that I had a question and he was incredibly responsive. He worked directly with our month of coordinator to put together the best day of schedule that got us all the photos that we wanted to capture. The day of, he was even more incredible if that was possible! He was able to corral both of our crazy families to make family photos painless. He created the most amazing moment for my first look with my dad. Rob is so encouraging and happy that our entire family and bridal party felt comfortable with him right off the bat, just like we did. He included so many small, thoughtful details throughout the time that he was contracted. My husband and I could write a whole essay of things about Rob but the biggest piece is BOOK HIM RIGHT NOW.
  Rob, thank you so much for all the amazing work that you did! You captured our wedding day so beautifully and we cannot stop looking at our photos. I literally can't pick my favorite because they're all perfect! Colin and I love you so much!

  The Mahon's June 6, 2020 (Photo & Video)

  When it comes to weddings, you make a lot of investments for your big day. It is not common necessarily for you to feel that your vendors invest in you. That is how I felt about working with Rob and his team at Square 8. Rob and his team were so invested in our love story and capturing every single part of our wedding and were there every step of the way. We booked Square 8 for the photography and videography for our wedding almost 2 years in advance, so we truly felt like we got to know each other during that time. From frequent check-in’s, buying supplies for my special ed classroom, or sending us a Starbucks card when I had the worst day, Rob was always there for us and took the time to be personable and supportive! Rob went BEYOND the duties of a photographer to build a relationship with us and make our wedding planning go smoothly.
  Then bring on the COVID…A few months before our wedding coronavirus threw a wrench in everything, but Square 8 was always there to check in, keep us updated on mandates and regulations for the wedding industry, and even sent us a Homechef giftcard since we were quarantined together, like WHAT?! They went above and beyond to make us feel heard and encouraged during what was an incredibly difficult time for us.
  The same was true on our actual wedding day. Rob and his team had incredible knowledge and experience at our venue and blew us away with our pictures. They knew exactly which shots we wanted and knew all the right places, so photos were efficient, but beautiful and detailed! They were able to facilitate and be flexible with our wedding day timeline, and truly helped keep everything running smoothly. Rob took the time to get to know our DJ and did an AMAZING job coordinating all the reception details with him. The video team and extra shooters did an incredible job and were wonderful to work with. The whole Square 8 team made our vision come to life and made our wedding just perfect. From our video to our photos, everything was better than we could have asked. I ended up sharing over 400 pictures on Facebook because I seriously could not pick favorites, I loved them all!
  I do not know that my words even do Square 8 justice, but we are so glad we chose them to be a part of our love story and our wedding day. From start to finish, they took care of us and were wonderful to work with. We will be a part of the Square 8 family for years to come!

  Worth every penny

  Rob and his team go above and beyond for their brides. I don’t even know where to begin. So intentional and personal and professional in everything they do. In the age of instagram worthy pictures, Rob ensures you have both quality photos for now and forever. I have heard horror stories of photographers not being super organized or responsive due to over booking themselves or being more creative and less professional but Rob and his team know how to take all the stress away. He knows all the best practices and I would trust him with any event I needed photography for. We had some hiccups along the way with our engagement photo session (didn’t realize the venue took at required prior approval) and the coronavirus took the spotlight the week of my wedding making me nervous about Rob traveling to Atlanta. Y’all, he didn’t miss a beat. Not one. I could go on and on but ultimately if you want a photography team that takes the stress out of it and genuinely makes you feel (and look on camera) like $1,000,000, pick Square 8 Studio.

  Rob and his team were a joy to work with. Rob was organized, fun, and positive. His professionalism and friendliness put our stress at ease, even when things didn’t go as planned. Rob and his team made us feel special, prioritized and love at all times.
  
  Rob had multiple conversations with us during the entire process. He helped create our timeline and talked through our worries. We felt comfortable bouncing ideas around with him, knowing he was giving us honest feedback. He was so patient when we couldn’t decide what to do! He gives you the perfect amount of space to think but positive suggestions to help. It was such a blessing to have found him. Our wedding days went very smoothly and that’s in part to Rob and the team!

  Use Square 8!!!

  From the first time my husband and I talked to Rob, we knew he was the kind of person we wanted to be a part of our wedding! His kindness and heart for his couples came through the phone, he asked about our vision and affirmed us as we shared, he wasn’t intimidated by our big families or various requests (He even asked about what types of photos we wanted and what we envisioned color wise for our pictures). Rob welcomed us, asked questions, encouraged us, and checked in on us throughout the planning process. Rob even called me at 11pm to talk through our day of schedule and help me figure out the transition between the ceremony and the reception. While Rob has way more experience than me in the wedding business, he still heard my heart and ideas and empowered me to own our wedding schedule! He was also so incredibly flexible when it came to our engagement pictures-I live in Houston so I kept planning trips to come take our engagement photos, but we kept running into rain or weird Texas weather. He took it all in stride and kept in contact with us and when he found the perfect weather opening, met us at the location within the hour. He kept us laughing during our engagement pictures and helped us feel confident in posing, but more than that, he captured our hearts for one another and the unposed, raw moments some photographers might have written off. By the time we got to our wedding day, my husband and I felt so confident in posing (belly button to hip for the win!!!) and comfortable in front of the camera. In turn, our wedding pictures turned out so good! We had the immense privilege of working with Zach the day of our wedding and man, he’s AMAZING!!!!! He is gracious and kind, has an eye for details, and is so encouraging! He captured so many priceless moments and was so flexible when things weren’t quite running as planned-he never complained about the summer heat or made me feel hurried. Zach encouraged and so many people complimented him based on their interactions with him day of and then even more once they saw our wedding pictures!!! I am so thankful for Square 8 and their heart for their couples, they made our wedding special and were so kind from beginning to end. Plus, who doesn’t love night of sneak peaks and a couple week turn around?!

  Captures everything

  Square8Studios did a fabulous job not only catching the “standard” photos everyone expects at their wedding but capturing the emotions that only are shown in a blink of an eye. One of my favorite photos is as I am being passed from my father to husband at the aisle. Rob Greene and Christian Baculi managed to truly capture all that we were feeling in that moment. I am very grateful to have chosen Square8Studios, from the beginning they were organized and guided me through the planning process. We had several meetings prior to the wedding along with detailed suvey's and questions so that Square8Studios knew all of the ins and outs of our wedding. During the entire day I never once worried if a photo was going to be taken, the team made sure to guide us through the process while still letting us enjoy spending time with our guests! 10/10 would recommend them for anyone!

  Where to begin with Square 8 Studio!?
  
  First, the photographer. Rob is A M A Z I N G. He went way above and beyond our expectations for engagement, bridal portraits, and wedding photos.
  
  One of the things that I love about Rob is his personal touch and organization. He set up a few phone calls throughout the wedding planning process to ensure a flawless timeline that captured everything that we could ever want on our wedding day. He gave us pointers, tips, poses, things that we would have never thought about, etc.
  
  The entire planning process was not transactional but rather very personal as Rob spent time getting to know my husband and I through meetings, learning family dynamics, which style of photography that we prefer, etc. We felt like his only client, although I know he serves others. He even made it a point to know parents and names of the bridal party, which is so personal and impressive! We even received small personal gifts throughout our engagement season and after we were married, which were so special.
  
  His creativity and skills are on point. There have been so many moments when my husband and I looked at Rob’s work and thought, ‘WOW’ this looks like a fairytale (yet still looking like ourselves!) I had no doubts even when it was supposed to rain on our wedding day, because I had worked with Rob indoors with bridal portraits, and the shots were P H E N O M E N A L.
  
  Our family and friends have asked for his name on multiple occasions, and I look forward to using him again in the near future! I cannot thank you enough, Rob!

  Beautiful photography!!!

  Rob with Square 8 was amazing shooting our wedding. Him and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and that every perfect detail would be captured. He was awesome and our pictures are timeless... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

  I'm still trying to find the words to describe these guys, but I'll do my best. From the moment I first spoke to Rob on the phone, I knew I'd be working with him and his team. They have gone above and beyond to exceed my videography expectations. The great thing about them is its like I was "working" with my best friends. Never once did I feel any sort of pressure about money or details... they genuinely were only concerned with how Jack and I were doing as a couple throughout the whole process and how they could pray for us. WHAT?! You actually WANT to check in on me?! That for me was worth it in itself. Everyone just expects you to be handling wedding stress well without actually caring. These guys just get it. I met with Rob a month or so the wedding just to go over details and what I wanted to see in my video. We ended up having a heart to heart that would go on to change my wedding day and stubborness as a person forever.
  
  On actual wedding day, Zach Benson showed up EARLY because he was EXCITED to be there! Again... WHAT?! He was so excited to shoot details and be in an environment he'd never been in before. He went outside of the typical "wedding day video" and shot Jack with his groomsmen jumping in the pool while us girls were getting ready. It's details like that that I will genuinely cherish forever. Zach was running around the venue BEAMING with excitement. All of my guests kept pulling me aside to be like wow he really loves what he does! Square 8 Studio only books X amount of weddings so that they can focus on yours and get it back within a couple weeks. That, too, is also unheard of.
  
  I will continue to rave about these guys until I'm showing my grandkids our wedding video. I cant recommend them enough. Rob and Zach, thank you for every single thing. Thank you for being there, for being fully present, and for being genuinely excited about what you do. I cant wait to continue to be your blue hearted bride and friend forever.

  Rob and Jacob with Square 8 Studio are AMAZING!!! Our photos and video turned out PERFECT! Rob was awesome to work with throughout the whole process. When the location for our engagement photos ended up being closed, he had another idea right away and it was perfect! He was so great to work with and got us some really unique pictures! Jacob did an AMAZING job with our video as well! I've watched it every day since we got it back! They knew exactly what we wanted out of our big day and they delivered! We didn't have enough time on the wedding day to fit in all the pictures I wanted without cutting into reception time, so Rob met with us the next day- we got all dressed up again- and we took our couple's photos without any stress of the wedding day! It was Rob's suggestion and it was the best decision ever! We opted to do a "red carpet reveal" for our photos and videos and I highly recommend it! It was really fun to relive the entire experience with our families! If you need a photographer or videographer, these are your guys!!!

Jacob did an AMAZING job with our video as well! I've watched it every day since we got it back! They knew exactly what we wanted out of our big day and they delivered! We didn't have enough time on the wedding day to fit in all the pictures I wanted without cutting into reception time, so Rob met with us the next day- we got all dressed up again- and we took our couple's photos without any stress of the wedding day! It was Rob's suggestion and it was the best decision ever! We opted to do a "red carpet reveal" for our photos and videos and I highly recommend it! It was really fun to relive the entire experience with our families! If you need a photographer or videographer, these are your guys!!!

  Rob was FANTASTIC! He is very energetic, very personable, and invested in your wedding. I loved that we had multiple touch points leading up to the wedding to ensure everything would be perfect for our big day.   Rob and Jacob went over and beyond to make sure they captured everything I wanted to be captured. They did not fall short. Before returning back from our honeymoon he had a sneak peek clip and a week later he had the final product for us to watch on Christmas Eve! The pictures were everything we dreamed of and more. Now, get this. We leave for North Carolina 3 days after our wedding. In that time, they surprise us by going through TWO THOUSAND pictures and finishing editing all of them so we could see them in person before we left town.
