  We celebrated our wedding at Stable cafe last September. The venue is just perfect, so beautiful and cozy. We loved the fact that there are different spaces that you can use: an amazing garden, a covered patio with a fireplace (great for cold SF nights!) and an indoor space. Working with Minah was a pleasure, she has always very responsive, accommodating and friendly. One of the best venues in San Francisco!

  My husband and I got married at the Stable Cafe and we couldn't have been happier with Minah and her team. The venue is so intimate and special and Minah made it very easy to plan our wedding there. She quickly responded to all of my questions, addressed any concerns I had, and accommodated the requests I made in the months leading up to the event. On the day of the wedding she and her team had everything set up well ahead of schedule and exactly as I had envisioned it. The event went off without a hitch! Thanks so much to Minah and the Stable Cafe!

  Minah and the other folks at Stable Cafe made planning our wedding there so wonderful! The space is happy, green, and unique (during our May 2016 wedding, there were plums on the plum trees!), and the location is convenient for locals and visitors. We loved having our ceremony and dinner on the patio, surrounded by the many plants that Lila B. keeps on site. Plus, the bistro lights that were strung up above the dinner tables were so fun. We used the covered back area for cocktail hour while the patio was being transitioned from ceremony to dinner (quite a feat, considering there were 75 guests and farm tables to be set up!), and then again for dessert (cake, s'mores, etc.). The indoor space in the back was where we did dancing - it was perfect. The fun details throughout are what make the place really special - the fireplace, the plants hanging, the back room with cool paintings on the wall, etc.. The team at Stable Cafe is exceptionally accommodating. One of the best parts of getting married at Stable Cafe is being able to go back there for a coffee or a meal whenever we want to bask in the memories of our wedding.

  Our search for the perfect San Francisco wedding reception venue ended when we found Stable Cafe. This San Francisco gem has the perfect mix of thoughtful aesthetic and local charm, and with Minah acting as Stable's main point of contact, it was smooth sailing from start to finish.
  
  This Mission District coffee hero has an amazing outdoor courtyard, back room fireplace and beautiful succulent features throughout, hand-crafted by the resident florist Lila B. You could honestly not change or add anything to the space and it would look like you spent thousands on the decor. It's just a place that you want to spend time in.
  
  Minah was super helpful throughout the entire process and was flexible, responsive and mellow - all critical attributes when you're working with someone to plan a wedding.

  I love the atmosphere and aesthetics of Stable Cafe. The back patio is open, inviting and full of succulents. I chose it b/c of the appeal. The cost to rent the space is 250 per hour and you can bring in your own food if you like. I choose to have it catered b/c I wasn't going to lug around a cooler and food that has been sitting in the car for a few hours. The price for the food is a tad high for what they are offering but the people are friendly.
  
  Communication is ok; at times a little frustrating but overall we got to where we needed to be. Overall I don't regret picking this place and I would go back, especially for brunch!

  In the end, my wedding reception turned out beautifully. The space looked great, the food was outstanding, and most things went smoothly. Everyone there had a great time and we had a lot of fun. The space allowed for us to customize a lot to our needs and it was a beautiful event.
  
  That said, the planning process with Stable Cafe was pretty aggravating. The events team just seemed very unorganized, would flake out on appointments, not respond to e-mails, say the price was in a certain range and then come back much higher. If you want to have an event there, be sure to be very on top of them and insist on getting things in writing as early as possible.
