Venue was perfect for our wedding day! It was a nice, hot and sunny day and everything went smoothly. Our guests loved the location and our wedding was beautiful. -

We booked Stanley park after postponing our original plans due to COVID. We hosted our micro wedding ceremony in the Rose Garden, and I am so glad we did! The park itself is so beautiful, we didn't need any additional decor. The Carillon Bell Tower is stunning and the park has organists you can hire to play the bells. It was such a nice touch to the ceremony. The park staff was extremely helpful in the months leading up to the day, and they were always very friendly and responsive to our (many) questions. They set up our chairs for the ceremony and broke them down afterward. They offered a free indoor space in the event of rain, which we luckily did not need. They have slotted times for weddings, allowing for only one wedding to take place in the park during that time. They offer many different locations around the park to host the wedding, depending on your style. We had free roam of the park for photos after the ceremony, which was wonderful. The fee for the ceremony included the one day photography license, so it wasn't an extra expense. I highly recommend Stanley Park, it is such a beautiful and wonderful place - we had so many compliments from guests on the location! -

Stanley Park
They were GREAT! Very responsive. They set the chairs up nicely, the organist played beautifully, the ranger was professional and polite and the venue was gorgeous. -

User2367213 Sent on 10/14/2015The park is so beautiful. The staff is very excited to have weddings and try to be accommodating. There were two other wedding the day of mine. So we couldn't set up the arch too early. But the park allowed us to set up a few hours early since the other weddings were in a different part of the park. As we drove to the park for the rehearsal it started down pouring. We called the park when we were only a few minutes away and they opened up the meeting house for us so we could rehearse inside. On the day of the wedding the weather was perfect. One negative is that the park only allows 20 chairs maximum. Every one else has to stand for the ceremony. Also the permit for the use of the park was from 1:30 to 2:45. We started with photos for 45 mins, then stopped to to the ceremony and then the receiving line and then finished up the photos. We were at the park from 1pm until about 3:15. Ideally the permit should be longer than 1hr 15m, but the park didn't give us a hard time and we didn't run into the other weddings because the park is so big! -

Ashley Sent on 08/03/2010I grew up going to this park, and I chose to have our reception here because it is gorgeous in the summertime. If you want a place with great photo opp's, then this is the place! There are a few downsides to using them: no alcohol is allowed, though they do allow a champagne toast. There are no bridal services. Set up and break down of chairs is additional, or you need to have someone do it yourself. They do not allow you to get there before your allotted time to set up for decorating. We had our wedding on a budget and had a lot of help from family and friends, but with enough elbow grease, we pulled it off and the place looked prettier than any dining hall I have been to!
