  Rocked the party all night!

  Straight up, these guys ROCK! Their music selection, mixing skills, ability to read and react to the crowd really made our wedding a success. I can't say enough about how easy it was to work with Kaipo and the rest of the gang over at Status Entertainment. They made all of our on the spot requests happen, all of our crazy last minute add on's come to life, and did it all without ever looking out of place. They kept everyone on the dance floor even with the variance in ages and backgrounds. I've never seen this happen at a wedding before but am most grateful it happened at my own. Highly recommend Status Entertainment!

  First off, let we’d like to apologize to Kaipo at Status Entertainment… We wrote this review a while back, saved it as a doc and forgot to post it… Please forgive us, you really made our wedding a HUGE success!
  
  Kaipo at Status Entertainment is one of the best professionals we’ve ever had the privilege of working with. He was with us throughout the entire processes leading up to our wedding and was able to work with us and exceed our expectations every step of the way. Status Entertainment provided FAR more than just the hardware (light shows, up-lighting, lasers, MC’s, flat screen TV’s, sound systems, music, videos… and all that other awesome stuff), they also brought a wealth of expertise and experience that helped to make our wedding just as memorable for our guests as it was for us. He was able to anticipate problems and develop solutions during the planning process and even when obstacles did arise during our event (because problems will come), he mitigated those problems seamlessly without missing a beat… the work he does and the experience his company provides is simply amazing!
  
  Once again, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. And we are so, so sorry we couldn’t send out this review much earlier.

  Kaipo at Status Entertainment is one of the best professionals we’ve ever had the privilege of working with.   Kaipo and the rest of the staff at Status Entertainment are the best! They provided a one of a kind wedding that put our guest in total amazement. Kaipo was our emcee and he turned the event into a total interactive event where our guest were not just sitting back watching everything, they were engaged in our program. We received several compliments from our guest on how much fun this wedding was and how entertaining it was. Status Entertainment was very easy to work with and really made all the custom touches to our day to really make it ours. The uplighting transformed our ballroom and the dj got everyone on the dance floor (even our "older" guests). I highly advise Status Entertainment for any event.

  Sooo glad I went with Status Entertainment Hawaii to provide DJ and uplighting services at my wedding. I found them at the Hawaii Wedding Expo, and they've been fun to work with and reliable ever since. Kaipo is awesome! Not only did he make my wedding day beautiful with the perfect uplighting and music, but he also helped me to come up with creative ideas of how to make my program more entertaining and I felt like he knew exactly what I wanted. Working with Kaipo was enjoyable and he made my wedding planning easy. I am overly satisfied with the quality of service provided and I still miss working with them, even though my wedding has passed already. Choosing Status Entertainment to be one of my vendors was one of the best choices I've made throughout my entire wedding planning. Thank you Kaipo and Status Entertainment! I would recommend your services to anyone looking for an excellent DJ and beautiful uplighting services.

  We absolutely LOVED the service provided by Status Entertainment. Kaipo was such a pleasure to work with! We met with him a couple of times (initial meeting and then a final meeting to review the details). He is such a professional and new EXACTLY what we needed! All we did was provide him with a few details and ideas, and he went running with a list of things he could do and provide. Our wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Our guests could not stop complimenting our DJ/emcee. Kaipo was AWESOME as our emcee. He kept the program flowing and had our guests laughing throughout the evening. He is an AMAZING speaker and GREAT at reading our guests and lighting up the room (literally and figuratively). His brother, Kawika, assisted as our DJ. Both were OUTSTANDING!! The STARLIGHT dance was simply beautiful...we even used a photo that captured our first dance under the "stars" on our thank-you cards. We cannot thank Kaipo, Kawika and Status Entertainment enough...simply OUTSTANDING!

  This company did an amazing job!! The professionalism and their genuine interest in our event is unmatched to any other company my husband and I had interviewed. On the day of the event, I did not have to worry about checking on them or any other glitches that could have happened. They helped me stay relaxed and enjoy my day. At the end of the night, our guests were so impressed by their set up that they ran out of business cards. We got married in March of this year, and from then till now, every single party that I have attended for family and friends who were guests at our wedding have hired Status Entertainment Hawaii and have enjoyed the quality of professionalism that we have.

  Kaipo was great! He came highly recommended through Savvy Wedding Planners and friends, and a big discount through Savvy. We gave him a few songs to play but most everything else was general descriptions of genres and "play what's hot". We should have maybe been more specific during dinner, his playlist was a little more mellow and light jazzy then we had thought it would be, but all it took was telling him to bring it up and he did. He really turned things up after dinner, not a one guest was sitting down, we were all feeling it and so was he. The best part was a last minute request to play a hava nagila themed song, he was able to download it on the spot and came through like a rock star!

  Kaipo and his team were very unprofessional and my wife and I do not recommend his services to anyone. We became frustrated with the lack of communication and lack of professionalism we experienced working with him. We initially met and decided on a Status Entertainment package and then did not hear back from him for three weeks to a month despite numerous voicemails and multiple emails. We had not heard from Kaipo or his team within 10 days of our wedding and thus, felt the need to go ahead and go with another DJ/Emcee service. We requested a return of our $250 deposit as well as a response to our inquiries and explanation for lack of communication, but again did not hear back from Kaipo or his team. My wife and I are overall patient and understanding people. We felt the need to write this review to alert others of our experience, but also to hopefully help Status Entertainment work on their communication and professionalism, which are crucial parts in running a successful business, especially a wedding business where communication and responsiveness are key.
