    Steel The Show is the Best!

    Melvin did a fantastic job playing for our morning after Bridal Brunch. He showed up on time and was set up ready to go when promised, played through the entire event, had excellent song selections, and set the right atmosphere for the entire event. I heartily recommend him to anyone. He was very professional and courteous, and very reasonably priced.

    Steel toe stiletto

    The band was beyond amazing —the vocals were fabulous and the playlist perfect in every way. Every guest commented positively and many said that the band was the best they had ever experienced at a wedding .

    Mr. Melvin Dean, Steel The Show, was professional, prompt, very entertaining, and added a special touch to my daughter's wedding reception. He surpassed our expectations, and I would definitely recommend him for your party, reception, or any event that you want to "wow" your guests! Working with Mr. Dean was a true pleasure, and he was definitely one of the highlights of the evening!

    Steel the Show was the perfect touch to the cocktail hour of our Savannah wedding! Melvin Dean has the kindest heart, and he was so much fun to work with before the wedding...not to mention he is so talented! My guests loved dancing to the drums, and it set the scene for an amazingly fun evening. If you want your guests to have a blast, definitely hire Melvin and Steel the Show!

    Melvin exceeded our expectations! It was a beautiful transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and all of our friends and family highlighted how wonderfully Melvin played. We would highly recommend him to everyone - he is the best!

    Never thought of having a steel drums performer at our wedding, but Melvin came highly recommended by our wedding planner. He was a big hit during our cocktail hour and everyone enjoyed his performance.

    Steel the show was my favorite part of our wedding day! Being able to bring the unique authentic sound of steel drums to our beach ceremony was awesome. Melvin Dean was a pleasure to work with, nothing but professional, and extremely talented. What a great accent to our wedding memory!

    Tybee Island Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony and Party

    We recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony on the Tybee beach by the lighthouse (as the sun set on December 6th), followed by a 40 guest party and celebration at the Tybee Guardhouse. Melvin Dean (Steel The Show) provided the music on the beach - "Acoustic Steel the Show" - before, during and after the ceremony. He was fantastic and provided the perfect accompaniment to a heartfelt ceremony.

    As we moved to the Guardhouse, Melvin's full Steel The Show accompaniment was, once again, the ideal background to getting our party started throughout our extended cocktail hour.

    Melvin and his music helped in making our event extra special and very worthy of a 5-star rating and BIG recommendation.

    Mr. Dean is an absolute professional and my wife and I could not be any happier about choosing him to play at our wedding. We received positive comment after positive comment from our guests regarding the wonderful music played by Mr. Dean. His repertoire is incredible and he even sings during several songs His voice is beautiful and added even more value.

    My boss was in attendance at the wedding and she was so favorably impressed by Mr. Dean, that she booked him for a customer appreciation outing the company sponsors every year. Quite an endorsement of his skills.

    I highly recommend his services. He has a laser beam focus on making your event the most successful it can possibly be. My wife and I feel so fortunate to have had the good fortune to find Mr. Dean.

    Melvin was great and flexible for us. He was even willing to relocate to the deck of our suite if the weather didn't cooperate for an outdoor ceremony. Don't hesitate on booking him for any event! Thank You again Melvin!
