Stephen and Melissa aren't just great photographers, they are great human beings to have around you on your wedding day. They are so kind and caring and also your own personal hype squad on the day. We loved our engagement session with them and absolutely adore the wedding photos they captured for us. They offer a truly 10/10 experience and product in our books. -

I cannot stress this enough - if you don’t book Stephen & Melissa for your wedding, you’re making a huge mistake! Where to begin… Numerous family members/friends approached me after the wedding and said something along the lines of, “Who are your photographers? They are incredible!” and “I can’t believe they knew all our names!”
Stephen was absolutely critical in helping me walk around the resort in my high-maintenance dress, all while helping me stay hydrated in 100-degree weather and entertaining my fiance’s (questionable) jokes. Melissa is the ultimate hype woman, making me and all my girls feel like Beyonce. She flawlessly anticipated everything from a bride's point of view without me ever having to say a word.
Our schedule went slightly awry and the two of them didn’t hesitate to accommodate, ensuring we felt like they had captured everything we wanted them to. Stephen & Melissa engage with you on a personal level, creating an atmosphere in which people feel like they’re part of your wedding and not hired for your wedding.
Now the photos!!! The quality of the photos is unreal. They know all the “hidden spots” of each major location in the Valley. They turned around their “favorites” of our wedding pictures within just a couple of days, allowing us to quickly share them with family and friends who weren’t there. They shot amazing pictures for our engagement shoot, making us feel comfortable and confident for our big day (and trust me, we’re really awkward!). We framed several of them and used them as decor on the wedding day. Between the photos and the experience, if you’re in the decision-making process for your wedding photographers, look no further. You will not regret booking Stephen & Melissa!!! -

Truly the best wedding photographers!
My husband and I got married in December of 2021 and hands down, choosing Stephen & Melissa as our photographers was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. We loved them immediately upon meeting them via Zoom and were very excited to book them! We were so nervous for our engagement session but Stephen and Melissa immediately put us at ease. They are so kind, funny, creative, and wonderful to be around! We ended up having such a blast and are IN LOVE with our photos. It was so hard to pick which photos to frame for our wedding and in our home! Not to mention, they sent us the photos so quickly!
Then came prepping for the wedding. Stephen and Melissa took so much time and care into helping us with our timeline and figuring out how to get all of our photos despite some time challenges with the venue. It really meant a lot to us! On the wedding day, I was so nervous about everything going smoothly, but as soon as Stephen and Melissa showed up, I immediately knew we were in good hands and was so happy to see them! They truly go above and beyond and their love for their clients and work is so apparent. So many of our wedding guests also mentioned how wonderful they thought our photographers were! We received our photos so quickly, and oh my goodness, they are SO beautiful and bring us such JOY to look at! I look at them everyday - I'm obsessed with them all! They captured our love for each other, our love for our family, and the love that surrounded us on the day. We could not be more grateful that we came across Stephen + Melissa and that we can now call them friends! We cannot recommend them enough!! If you hire Stephen + Melissa you are making the absolute best decision! You'll have amazing photographers who truly care about you and also will make some new friends! -

Stephen + melissa are the best. Ever.
We found Stephen + Melissa through a simple google search. I needed a photographer in Scottsdale for our destination wedding and stumbled across a blog post written by the duo https://stephenandmelissa.co/2020/01/01/wedding-photographer-in-phoenix-stephen-and-melissa-photography-finding-the-right/. We liked their style, their overall branding and were intrigued by a married couple that worked as a team. We needed a photographer that could capture our wedding in entirety, which included several days of events and a golf tournament. At our initial meeting we connected with them instantly, we booked them for 3 days of photography to fully capture our destination wedding weekend. We chose them because they seemed to really understand our vision for the event, were possibly more excited than we were, and felt like life-long friends we just hadn’t met yet. Prior to the weekend, we met with Stephen + Melissa for an engagement session photo shoot. Stephen + Melissa immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed in an environment that can often be a bit awkward. We were able to laugh and let loose, leading to the best professional photos of my husband and I that we had had to date. Their communication made us feel heard every step of the way. A preview of the photos was sent to us within a week of the shoot and the rest of the photos were sent to us a few days prior to the expected delivery date.
When it came to the wedding weekend, Stephen + Melissa were on time and prepared to every event. I can’t stress enough the comfortability that Stephen + Melissa provided throughout the weekend. They were never in our way, yet they were present enough to capture photos of us with every guest and group of guests that we had requested. They were never annoyed with us for requesting additional photos, and they went above and beyond to set up a tri-pod to hold my husband’s cousin’s iPhone so that his 93 year-old grandmother could attend the wedding via FaceTime. We received a preview of our wedding photos just a few days after the wedding, and being able to look through moments from all of the events that we held while drinking champagne on our honeymoon was absolutely priceless. We look forward to seeing Stephen + Melissa again in the future, whether that be for another photo shoot or just to grab a drink as friends. We have zero complaints about working with them and would 10/10 recommend them to anyone we knew.

My husband and I got married on May 29, meaning that Stephen and Melissa braved the heat for US. And let me tell you, they were truly amazing! We instantly clicked with them at our initial meeting- they felt like lifelong friends. We were both super nervous for the engagement session, but they had poses ready and made jokes throughout the session to make us feel natural and comfortable in front of the camera. When the time came for the wedding, they helped us find the perfect location for our pictures. They communicated quickly and effectively both with us and our other vendors so that our wedding day could go smoothly. Their pictures are insanely beautiful and their turnaround time is amazing. We had so many friends and family tell us after the wedding that they were blown away with our pictures and the amazing souls behind the camera. We cannot stop looking at our pictures and we will forever recommend them. They were truly the best investment out of everything from our wedding! -

From start to finish Stephen & Melissa were friendly, personable, and super professional. We felt like they became our friends right away, making us feel so comfortable for both our engagement session and wedding session. We were laughing the entire time and our wedding guests loved having them around. They made thoughtful recommendations on shooting locations and even came out to see our wedding venue in advance to scout it out! To top that, you get two cameras capturing different angles, so we were able to have Melissa join the bride getting ready and Stephen join the groom. It was perfect. We are THRILLED with our photos and could not imagine missing out on the special moments they were able to capture. If you are searching for the best photographers in town, look no further! We couldn’t say enough great things about Stephen & Melissa! From having a blast with them on our engagement photo session to celebrating with them at our wedding, it definitely felt like they were our close friends, instead of photographers we hired.
Planning a wedding during a Pandemic was challenging to say the least, but they gave us tons of advice and ideas to make it easier. They even presented us with our fairy tale venue when we had to forgo our original plans. We honestly don’t know what we would have done without them!
But most importantly their pictures are amazing! They are so experienced in what they do and know how to get all the best shots, while making it fun along the way. We are constantly getting compliments on all our photos and we are so glad we went with them!

Stephen and Melissa did a beautiful job for our wedding!!! They are both very nice, easy to work with and absolutely professional. They helped us get the best of the best for the time and budget we had and came with a plan for our day to do so. It was definitely the highlight of our wedding, the pictures are natural, with perfect lighting and you can tell that everybody is relaxed and having a great time working with them!!! They are very good at reading couples and delivering exactly the product that you want. I recommend them 100%. -

Stephen and Melissa were one of the best choices I made in my wedding planning process. As an event planner, my number one goal was to have a well-managed event that ran smoothly, followed by being able to spend time with my husband, and thirdly, having beautiful photos to document the designs. Stephen and Melissa made all of that happen.
I trusted them completely and was able to relax on my special day, knowing that their down-to-earth personalities and excellent artistic talent would carry us through the day smoothly. They were quick to respond to messages, relaxing to be around, made us feel like models, shared my artistic vision, accommodated my extremely detailed schedule, and became our friends who we already recommended to another couple a month after our own wedding.
I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I spread their name to whoever will listen. Hire them. You will not regret it. It may be the best decision you make for your wedding. -

After finding Stephen and Melissa on Thumbtack, we were very impressed with their website, and then we met them! :) They made taking our photos FUN for a change and kept us calm and laughing through the entire experience. We received our photos back quickly and they were amazing. You won't regret choosing these two and will love working with them! :)
