Storrowton Tavern & Carriage House Reviews

We got married at Storrowton Tavern two weeks ago and can now confidently say that choosing this venue was the best decision we made for our wedding!! The food, service, and price could not be beat and the setting was perfect for some really beautiful fall wedding photos. Our guests have given us rave reviews of the amount of appetizers being passed around during cocktail hour and the quality of the food as a whole the entire night, which is super impressive for a wedding of 230 people. And, the servers were genuinely kind, seeking me and my husband out on the grounds multiple times while we were taking photos to make sure we got drinks and apps, as well as later on in the crowd to ensure there was nothing we were missing!

Beyond that, the venue allowing us the flexibility to make the night our own without adding on endless charge after charge (like most other vendors we looked at throughout New England) was truly the reason we chose Storrowton in the first place and is one of the biggest reasons we loved working with them!! Don and his team were extremely flexible and willing to accommodate all of the special requests we had to make special touches to our wedding day. We opted to have our wedding reception under a tent on the green in Storrowton Village rather than in the Carriage House, but the team at Storrowton set it up so beautifully and ran things so efficiently that you'd think they do tented receptions all the time. And, Don was personally on-site from 5am to past midnight the day of our wedding ensuring that things ran smoothly, which meant a lot and kept us confident that all would be taken care of. We could not be happier with our choice and highly recommend Storrowton to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Western Mass.

We went with storrowton tavern for our venue and I could not be more excited!!!! We are not getting married until May of 2021 but Colin has been amazing to work with! He is extremely flexible and is willing to go above and beyond for us!!!

Don is fantastic. With everything going on with covid he was with me each step of the way. I felt completely confident in his ability to handle the day and it was beyond anything I could have hoped for. He has a calming personality that makes him a dream to work with. If you want food service, great food, and amazing value, this is the place for you. It also boasts and extremely unique atmosphere that fits well with any theme!!

Our wedding at Storrowton was simply amazing! Our coordinator, Nicole, did a stand out job! She was on top of everything and made us feel relaxed and well taken care of throughout the entire process. We received so much praise in regards to the food, drinks and service. The pricing is also very reasonable. The grounds are also beautiful for photos. The team there is top notch... choosing Storrowton as our venue was a choice of which we have no regrets. They seriously did and excellent job!

Donald and Krista did an amazing job on my wedding day making sure everything was perfect. The food and dessert was amazing and the bartender was great!! They setup the room just like I wanted and answered any questions needed. Would recommend this venue best value for everything included!!

We had an amazing experience with Storrowton from start to finish. I would say it is one of the more under-publicized venues in the Western MA area but do not let that fool you about the service. As someone who has worked in the event planning realm, I had a serious attention to detail and organization.

From the very beginning our coordinator, Nicole, took charge and managed the major details of the event. She was flexible, understanding and very accommodating. She always communicated with me and there were no surprising on any pricing or parts of the package. She set up all of the decor and then packed it away safely, re-wrapping all of the glass so it would not break. She worked with all the vendors to ensure on time delivery and truly managed the night.

The food at the event was above anything we could have wished for. The hors d'oeuvres were all delicious and came out hot. The intermezzo course was served with edible orchids which added a beautiful touch. Our entrees were Filet Mignon, Herb Stuffed Chicken and Baked Stuffed Shrimp and Eggplant Rollatini. So delicious and cooked to perfection.

The pricing is really reasonable, especially for what is included. I am so happy we chose Storrowton!
