    Very Disappointed

    Cold food, what was promised was not actually done, poor communication, not on time, very stressful.

    The worst ever

    We hired this caterer and were through the roof excited. Wow, what an absolute disaster it was.
    The main person of the business didn't show up to the wedding and gave zero heads up that he wasn't coming. His team left late and showed up to the reception hours after they were supposed to be there. They were not prepared at all. Our guests sat during "cocktail hour" waiting on the caterers to get there. Once they got there, they didn't get our guests drinks. We rolled into our wedding and it was SOOOO stressful. Our cocktail hour started 75 minutes after we got there. We were told by the caterer that he didn't need a tent and that he was bringing his food truck. Lies. It started to rain and they prepped food 250 yards from the reception and didn't even cover the food coming into the reception. The food we tasted when we met with them was nothing close to what was prepared at the wedding. All in all I would stay away from this crew. It's been 31 days since our wedding and they NEVER even reached out to at least apologize. We weren't able to enjoy our wedding because we were robbed of 90 minutes of it trying to figure out this disaster.

    No excuse and this is first I heard. I apologize We talked on Monday before wedding went over every detail. I had surgery the next morning and it went bad really bad. My kidneys started failing by Friday I went over every detail time line with my staff on Monday evening and again before the were to leave. I’m soo embarrassed. I still haven’t been released from dr and have to have another surgery. I tell you this not as excuse but life. The lady in charge of your wedding has done hundreds of weddings for us. Again I’m so sorry

    Sonny Carter - owner is a racist, along with his wife Shirley Bruce are w/holding my wages because they got caught breaking the law!

    A Scam and a Nightmare

    Sonny talks a big talk to the bride (me) about how on my special day he would prioritize my wishes and make good on all his promises. He did the exact opposite and ended up costing us $10,000.

    The following are all promises Sonny said he would keep and discussed many times in detail what would be delivered on my wedding day.

    As for drinks: We were promised 2 versions of our 1 signature cocktail, a hot and iced version of this cider with greenery garnish and a cinnamon stick. The day of the wedding he only gave us 1 cold version of the drink with no garnish at all, no rim, no hot version.

    As for food: We assumed we were going to be able to have leftovers from our buffet that we paid for and have adequate labeling for our buffet. We were given leftovers in sizes too small for a toddler and our guests didn’t know when they were eating alligator due to inadequate labeling.

    As for the food truck: Sonny had worked with our venue and that venue’s coordinator for many years and knew good & well the road to get there. He decided the day of the wedding that the food truck (that would hand out our wedding favors) couldn’t make it’s way down that trail when he KNEW it either could or couldn’t travel to the venue.

    Wedding favors: the wedding favors that were supposed to be delivered out of the food truck were meant to be an assorted box of carnival food all fresh: cotton candy, kettle corn, corn dog, small water bottle… Sonny gave us boxes of food from dollar general- slim Jim’s, smart food white cheddar popcorn, and some mints thrown into to-go boxes.

    After the catering disaster he gave us, multiple family members tried to call him several times to discuss what he did and he never returned the call. Once my mom finally got a hold of him, he said he could call back in 30 minutes to talk more… it’s been over a year of silence from him. He will not return calls or texts.

    We were never reimbursed for the food truck or totally inaccurate wedding favors. NEVER do business with this catering company.
