  StrayCat is exactly what I was looking for in a florist. We ordered our bouquets, boutonnieres, and then several buckets of seasonal buds and greenery for us to decorate the barn with. Diana hopped on a call with me to chat about what I was thinking, from colors to inspiration and more. She was incredibly helpful - I wasn’t quite sure how to describe what I was thinking, but thanks to her prowess and Pinterest, she was able to get out what was in my head. And, thanks to her and her team, the flowers were GORGEOUS. Picking them up was such a delight and thinking about it still makes me smile. Diana was also able to provide some really great instructions for how to use the bulk buckets for bud vases and table runners: the result was absolutely breathtaking. Six months earlier, I had almost given up on having flowers at our wedding, and I feel so, so fortunate to have found StrayCat. Cannot recommend them enough.

  I really enjoyed working with StrayCat Flower Farm. I had a very tight timeline and the staff was extremely willing to work with a speedy turnaround and my budget restrictions. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and highly complimented by my wedding guests. I knew I had nothing to worry about working with StrayCat Flower Farm.

  The flowers Stray Cat provided for our wedding were so fresh, delicately beautiful and lasted a long time! I had asked for bouquets, boutonnieres, and two large ceremony arrangements, plus three buckets of stem flowers for my family to work with, and everything was better than what I had expected. When we had our (several) phone calls about what my vision was and what was in season, it was hard for me to articulate my ideas - I am not a florist! Stray Cat heard what I was trying to say and I got arrangements that were special and elegant, with a hint of woods-fairy.

  We had stray cat do the flowers for our wedding! They designed our bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. They were all organic, romantic and beautiful! We bought bulk flowers to arrange ourselves, and they were very helpful with advising us on quantity and variety. I would recommend StrayCat to ANYONE in Vermont. Thank you!!

The flowers they provided were beautiful, in season and mostly local. We were able to make really nice centerpieces that had a wildflower look, which is exactly what I wanted.

  Stray Cat is able to work with weddings that are more "do it yourself." We were able to get two buckets of different flowers from them, which went a long way in filling the jars for our centerpieces. Pick up was easy and the staff was very nice! Always answered our questions quickly and made everything stress-free!

  Great local burlington option for DIY flowers. I was on a budget and happy to arrange my own flowers. I gave them a color palette and they delivered a beautiful bucket of flowers for me to work with.

  Diana "DD" Doll was great to work with! We met at the office and went over what I liked. I gave her some pictures of what I wanted and looked through her portfolio. I also showed her a couch that we wanted the colors to go with and later emailed her with the color of my shoes to incorporate as well. We also purchased some flowers in bulk to decorate our arch with. The flowers were gorgeous! Exactly what I wanted and very close to the photo I had provided in color and form (the exactly flowers were a little different, which was expected). Putting our own arch together the morning of our wedding was a little stressful, but we saved money doing it ourselves and it came out great! I was very happy to find a vendor that does such great work and was willing to work with a very small order (bouquet, 2 corsages, boutonniere and bulk flowers).

  Diana and her team at StrayCat Flower Farm were amazing! I was planning a wedding from outside the country, and so you can imagine what a special case it was for Diana and myself to try and send each other images of flowers over email! By the time the wedding came up, I had no idea what to expect for flowers, not knowing too many flower names myself. All I knew is that I didn't want purple, and that however she wanted to involve orange, yellows, peachy-reds, and white with greenery and I would be happy. The end result floored me! My bride bouquet was ENORMOUS, well planned, and bursting with every color I asked in perfect taste. The bridesmaids bouquets were smaller versions of my bouquet. The groomsmen and corsages for the mothers were made with the clever, delicious smelling edition of fresh sprigs of Rosemary and dashes of color from the bouquets. The two floor flower arrangements we set up at the altar were festive, tall, and enough color that I felt like any more flowers in the chapel would have been over-doing it. We declined to add flowers to the reception in place of picking marigolds out of my sister-in-law's garden, but the affordable DIY option of buying blooms from StrayCat and assembling centerpiece arrangements ourselves was our original thought. I have heard from other brides that this option works well. StrayCat also offers arranged centerpieces that I'm sure are breath-taking given the beauty and creativity I got to see in our bridal party flowers. I only knock a star off of Responsiveness because I had trouble getting an official final invoice for a receipt of payment. I blame hurricane Irene the most for that. It definitely hurt a lot of Vermont vendors for the wedding season. Basically, if you pick StrayCat, you are in for an easy time. Trust Diana and her people. They know what they're doing!

  StrayCat may not have been the most timely when it came to replying to emails and were a bit late showing up for meetings, but I was over the moon about the flowers when I saw them on my wedding day! StrayCat provided the most amazing, beautiful, and wildly unique arrangements - from the bridal bouquets to the boutonnieres to the ceremony arrangements - everything was just so gorgeous and amazing. They took my "wish list" of flowers, feathers, and antlers and exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be happier with my choice. The flowers were some of my favorite elements of the wedding day!

  StrayCat may not have been the most timely when it came to replying to emails and were a bit late showing up for meetings, but I was over the moon about the flowers when I saw them on my wedding day! StrayCat provided the most amazing, beautiful, and wildly unique arrangements - from the bridal bouquets to the boutonnieres to the ceremony arrangements - everything was just so gorgeous and amazing. They took my "wish list" of flowers, feathers, and antlers and exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be happier with my choice. The flowers were some of my favorite elements of the wedding day!

  I had a very nice experience working with Diana, Kate and the rest of the team at Stray Cat. The flowers were lovely and Diana was great at accommodating some last minute changes in our wedding day schedule that we found out about the week of the wedding. They were also great at re-using pieces from the ceremony at the reception so that we could stay on budget. Thanks guys!

  Perfect for DIY

  I chose to do the DIY option for my bridesmaids bouquets and the groomsmen boutonnieres. I simply ordered 100 stems of wildflowers. I thought there would be much more than there were. This was basically only 100 flowers. Which equates to 2 one gallon buckets. Fortunately, I had gotten baby's breath elsewhere and there were plenty of flowers in the end. I had Dianna make my bouquet and the grooms boutonniere. They were both lovely. I sent her photos of what I had wanted and she did amazing. We chose to pick our flowers up, I am unsure if there is an option to deliver but if that's something you're looking for I would make sure to verify.

  Disappointing experience with new management

  I had a very long engagement, and initially hired Stray Cat (for my wedding flowers. A few months before the wedding I reached out to the business email/phone to check in, but received no response back for several weeks and found the business inboxes full. After some internet sleuthing, I discovered the farm had been purchased and the new owners were responsible for 1) not communicating the change in ownership and 2) the lack of responsiveness. In the end I was able to obtain another florists' services and would not recommend working with the new florists who own this farm.
