  Literal Perfection

  Sugar & Salt was a dream to work with. Everything was seriously perfection.
  
  On top of our wedding cake and all our treats being DELICIOUS, they were also an absolute work of art.
  
  We ordered several things for our wedding including a custom three-tier cake, personalized macaroons, and custom football jersey cookies. All of which were stunning and SO tasty.
  
  I'll never go anywhere else for my cakes and treats!!

  Sara was amazing to work with!! She is a true master of her craft. Sara was professional and very accommodating. Not only was the cake delicious but she executed the design perfectly. We were planning our wedding from out of state making it hard to communicate specifically what we had in mind as far as a design goes. I sent over pictures of a few ideas we had and somehow with that little of information, Sara was able to capture exactly what we wanted in a sketch. Furthermore, the cake she delivered to our venue matched that sketch to a T. She produced a breathtaking cake! I would HIGHLY recommend Sugar & Salt RVA, they completely exceeded our expectations!

  Sara made our wedding cake and mini desserts for my wedding this past weekend and they were all delicious! Not to mention she was super easy to work with and responsive. I would definitely recommend Sugar & Salt to anyone looking for cake/desserts for any special event. Thanks again, Sara!!!

  I have a big sweet tooth, and Sara made the best desserts I have ever eaten. We could tell from our tasting that she would deliver something beautiful and delicious. She delivered that and more. We wanted to have a croquembouche alongside our cake, and Sara is one of the few bakers that would make the classic dessert. On the day of the wedding, I guess there was a snafu with the croquembouche, but she handled the issue before we were even aware that something had happened. Her level of professionalism was outstanding, and we're so glad she contributed to a stress-free day. The service was excellent, but the baking was even better.

  Sara baked us a simple but beautiful cake that was absolutely delicious. She delivered it to the site, decorated it with flowers I had left, and allowed us to borrow a cake stand for the event. And the price was incredibly reasonable! I would highly recommend this vendor for any kind of special occasion baking.

  Words cannot describe just how amazing Sara's cakes are! From our tasting with her, we were hooked, and immediately knew we wanted her to make our wedding cake. Her cakes are well balanced in texture and flavors, with bite so fresh and tasty. I was so impressed, we also ordered a groom's cake through her as well. All of our guests raved about both cakes and we are so delighted by her professionalism and quality of her work. We cannot wait to order cakes from her again in the future!

  I loved our wedding cake from Salt & Sugar! When we first contacted Sara, she arranged for us to meet with her to try four mini cakes with flavors of our choice. We tried a chocolate cake, vanilla cake with raspberry filling, pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting, and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. They were all AMAZING! My husband and I enjoy more unusual flavors and decided to have two of our three tiers of cake as chocolate peanut butter and one tier of pumpkin as well as a sheet cake of vanilla raspberry. We had extra cake in our freezer after the wedding and it did not last long as it was truly one of the best cakes I have ever eaten! The cake is a bit denser than the box mix cakes we usually eat and the frosting was rich and buttery and out of this world.

  We were very happy with our beautiful cake from Sara at Sugar & Salt! Not only was it gorgeous and exactly what we had in mind, it tasted delicious and we got many compliments on how good it was. Naturally I only had one bite at the wedding, but luckily we had the leftovers for brunch the next day and I was able to taste how yummy both layers were (we got caramel apple with salted caramel filling and red velvet with chocolate mousse filling -yum) People were eating it straight from the tupperware! Lol! Last but not least, the price for the cake was very competitive from what I saw, especially considering the high quality you receive. Thank you to Sara and Patrick.
