If you want fun, creative wedding food that doesn’t suck, this is the place to go. Working with Kelly and her team was such a breeze. They are super accommodating to different diets and food allergies. We also got our water goblets, places, flatwear, etc from them as well but the team had zero issues with using our special wedding plates/glasses.
Now onto the best part… THE CAKE! Every cake from Sugarellas is beautiful, but ours was something special. We gave them a challenge with a Nightmare Before Christmas cake and they DELIVERED on a beautiful/delcious cake.
We also had a late night snack of soft pretzels, cheese, and mustard and I could not recommend that enough.
If you want beautiful and delicious food for your wedding, this is the place! -

I cannot recommend SugarElla's catering enough. My husband Jake and I hired them for our wedding and from start to finish had the most wonderful experience with them. Kim Putney, the mastermind behind SugarElla's, was easy to work with, flexible, kind, and extremely professional.
They scheduled us for a tasting right away and made us samples of everything we were interested in, and even a few things that we hadn't requested that Kim thought we might like. We ended up going with their sun-dried tomato stuffed chicken and their zucchini ravioli for our entrees. Both were incredible and we got compliments on the food all night. If you’re even considering SugarElla’s, do yourself a favor and book them. From the very beginning, Kim was an absolute dream to work with. She created a personalized menu for us that had something for everyone, even our vegan friends. She made our late night Queso dreams come to life and was honestly just so easy to work with. Day of, she made sure all the food was to temp as well as making sure everything was running smoothly. She checked in with our guests, is just so approachable, and really made our day special. SugarElla's did such an amazing job with our wedding. After a few tastings from other caterers SugarElla's was a clear winner. They were excellent at accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions. Kim responded very quickly to emails and was very willing to work with our budget. The desserts were incredible (my only regret is not having time to eat very many of them). We kept hearing from our guests about how good the food was all night! -

I found SugarElla's online. The folks at Aay's Rentals confirmed my selection so I reached out to Kim and Carli. They couldn't have been more wonderful to work with. SugarElla's is a true family operation. Kim runs the business with daughter Carli. She's also the pastry chef. Son Hunter is the chef and daughter-in-law Bridget is bartender extraordinaire. Wow, her margaritas were awesome! Ours was a Christmas in July memorial celebration. Kim and Courtney took the theme and ran with it. They used my mother's annual Christmas party menu and re-created it with signature updates like that awesome Black Pepper Parmesan dip. The decorated poinsettia cookies were works of art. I’m not sure how exactly I found Sugarella’s for my wedding for catering. But I am SO GLAD I did. I set up a tasting for her and two other catering companies. She was first.
I’ve taken the time to gather ideas for my own wedding as I’ve attended weddings over the years and one of the common themes has always been I don’t want the typical “wedding food”! Our people will come and I want to wine and dine them. They should get great food.

With a wedding that needed to take place a little over 2 weeks of initial contact, Kim alleviated any stress that I could have with having a venue and catering in place. The professionalism, flexibility, creativity, and positive demeanor that her and the team displayed were awesome from beginning throughout. In addition, since my husband and I are vegetarians, Kim even experimented for our Taste test some amazing Avocado Rolls with a dip that practically everyone loved! I was planning my wedding with Kim at SugarElla’s for over a year. I am from out of state, so our tastings had to be set up pretty far in advance whenever we were in town. She was always accommodating and made it work, no matter how many times I had to reschedule. They were the only caterer we even set a tasting with because we loved them so much right away! Since we had so much time to plan, the communication between us didn’t need to be immediate, so it worked well for me! We got married on October 26, 2019 and I cannot say enough amazing things about Sugarellas!! Our appetizers, main entree, dessert, and late night snack were stellar! Our favorite was the beautiful white chocolate raspberry naked cake! It was absolutely delicious and exactly what I asked for! To put the "cherry on top" Sugarellas assisted with the decorating along with designed a one-of-a-kind special coffee and hot chocolate bar for all our guests to enjoy. They went above and beyond with every detail and help me plan and put on the wedding of my dreams. Kim and her team were amazing to work with and were extremely detailed orientated and treated us like family! We were very blessed to find them and will not hesitate to use them again! -

Sugarella's was super helpful throughout the entire planning process, and made sure our wedding day was everything it could be, and more! From providing delicious food, displayed beautifully (and did I mention their cake is outstanding?!!), to providing bartenders that worked around my complicated bar menu, to directing the flow of the reception, and even teaching us how to lay tableclothes during set-up so the venue would look as good as possible, Kim and her team really exceeded our expectations. And she was able to work within our budget, to boot! You're not going to find a more personable caterer, truly invested in every aspect of their quality of service and the success of your event than Sugarella's. -

Best wedding food and cake EVER!
Do yourself a favor and hire Kim and her team at SugarElla’s. They were on the higher end of my budget, but it was worth every penny! Good food was my top priority for my wedding and they nailed it. The menu is creative and clearly made from scratch. Kim is flexible and willing to make your menu dreams come true- like a custom float bar! She even made sure all my loved ones with dietary restrictions were well taken care of.
The cake deserves its own paragraph. I hate cake. She made me try a piece at the tasting and I was sold. It is the best cake I have ever had in my life. Ultra-light... -
