  Very professional and enthusiastic!

  DJ Chris was an amazing asset to our wedding. He was extremely thoughtful and assisted with the nice flow of events. Definitely would recommend.

  Thank you it was a perfect night!

  Chris at Sunshine Entertainment was perfect for our needs. We were a very small laid back wedding and we probably could have used a phone to play music but I didn't want to have to think about it or ask someone to be the keeper. He was affordable and offers a ton of different options for pricing which others do not have. Even though there was only 3 of us dancing most of the night it was still perfect and everyone commented on the music. Chris sent a ton of info on other wedding timelines as examples so I could use that to help organize our timeline. It was very helpful. He was very accommodating when we had to postpone due to COVID. Thank you Chris!

  Fantastic DJ

  Chris was amazingly friendly, affordable and did a fantastic job. There were a million little last minute changes between all the vendors, timeline and schedule and everyone involved made it work flawlessly. Definately recommend for any event. Made our day very memorable!

  Chris was amazing

  Chris was amazing.
  He was the perfect balance between professional and fun. He did everything he was suppose to and what he told us he would. Everything went great. From the ceremony music to intros, dance's, speech, cake cutting, garter bouquet and the rest of the night was done perfectly.
  Everyone had a great time.

  We recently hired Chris to DJ my father-in-law's 90th birthday party. Chris was great! He got back to me very quickly regarding his availability and pricing. In the weeks before the party, we emailed back and forth many times regarding song selections. No matter how seemingly obscure the songs I came up with were (many from the 30's and 40's)...Chris managed to find what we needed and came through for us. On the day of the event, he was on time--very cooperative and overall wonderful! I look forward to hiring Chris again in the future.

  Chris Hookie the owner of sunshine entertainment was truly an amazing dj. He went well over his duty in making sure we could hear the music and that it was a perfect sound and that it was what we wanted to hear. Simply amazing personality with a funny sense of humor. Truly fab o listic.

  Chris was very accommodating to our busy schedule, his prices were fantastic and I loved that he gave us a 'free' dance lesson which made our first dance much easier to do. Being gen X'ers, my husband and I are always on our phones emailing and texting, Chris does not text - not really a problem, but there were times we had to wait a couple hours for him to reply to a question. The Gobo or Gobi monogram light that he created for us was fantastic!!! Really cheap in price but very high in quality. And to top it off, with his free "DJ Cam" abilities, he also took some of the best pictures of our ceremony!!! If you choose Chris at Sunshine Entertainment for your wedding or party, you will not be disappointed.

  My wife and I used Sunshine Entertainment for our outdoor wedding reception. When we first met Chris, he was very nice, listened to our needs and our budget. He gave us a complementary dance class, which was helpful and started us off on the right foot.
  
  In the months leading up to the event, his responsiveness was extremely delayed and we had to follow up multiple times before getting an answer.
  
  On the day of the event, Chris seemed flustered at the beginning, although our day of person was keeping him informed through the process. He had a different attitude than when we first met with him. When introducing us, he mispronounced our names after saying them correctly at all of our previous meetings. During table announcements for dinner, he came off rude to our guests and approached tables to complain. We provided songs to him ahead of time and asked to not take requests. However, he took requests and didn’t play songs which we collected from guests ahead of time.
  
  Although it was a rocky start, he was able to get our guests to the dance floor for the entire reception.

  Was very disappointed.. and so we're our wedding guests. After he advertised his services for the third time (during our wedding) I was all set... oh wait, after he was late, didn't have our guests arriving to music as discussed, AND then didn't have our entrance song!!!!.... then I was all set!!! Even the guests made comments about how horrible it was. Very disappointed. He made it sound as if country/rock was his comfortable genre, but it was not. Hope to spare the next couple the pain!! Pick someone else!

  Disappointing to provide details left out of Linda's review. I only have 2000 characters to do so.
  
  "He was late" – The venue was 2.5hrs behind in setting up for wedding due to a thunderstorm earlier that morning. I was 20 min. late due to large event in Bristol.
  
  "didn't have our guests arriving to music as discussed" - Played nearly all music, ceremony started 45 min. later due to venue setting up & B&G in wine tasting room taking pics.
  
  "didn't have our entrance song!.. " My bad! - Song not downloadable from music source, but available on internet - DJs play songs from internet all the time. But, no internet at the venue- should have asked B&G if venue had internet.
  
  Linda did not mention – venue set me up under a small tent on far end of wedding tent away from dance floor. Speakers had to be set up 3 X's during event - ceremony, dinner & dance. Did not mention that I gave her "free" first dance - dance lesson, & provided “free” music/dance videos at wedding.
  
  "he advertised his services for the third time (during our wedding)" - I have a policy that I do not promote my business without promoting all the other vendors - Which I did.
  
  "He made it sound as if country/rock was his comfortable genre, but it was not." – many songs not danceable but great listening songs. At the end, I ended up staying an addl hour playing an addl 90 min. of all their favorite "So. Rock" songs. Would have stayed longer, but there was a 10PM curfew. . “Guests disappointed “ - all vendors were pleased, all the young ladies/girls appreciated that I played songs they could dance to, I received 6-8 handshakes, pats on the back & hoots & hollers when I played 90 min. of So. Rock requests during the night time portion of the event.. I guess you can't please everyone.
