Great band for wedding reception!!
My husband and I got married this past June, and we knew we wanted a band at our wedding. After speaking to a few bands, we found Wilton to be informative and personable. Their pricing is very fair.
At our wedding, everyone enjoyed the music! The band even adhered to list of songs I carefully chose from their selection, which I greatly appreciated. We would recommend them to anyone getting married in Charleston!!Super Deluxe's reply:

Absolutely Amazing
We cannot say enough great things about Super Deluxe! My main goal for a band at my reception was to get people dancing - they got everyone on the dance floor (even the ones that never dance!) We continue to get questions from our attendees about the name of our band so I wanted to leave this review to make sure everyone knows how great they are. If you want a fun band that plays a wide variety of music for all ages, look no further. Super Deluxe is your band!Super Deluxe's reply:

Brigman Sent on 11/15/2017I am so glad I was able to convince my bride to hire Super Deluxe instead of a DJ. We received *so* many comments about how great the band was at our reception but the strongest endorsement was the bride’s uncle who never left the dance floor and told us afterwards “You know, your band just KEPT getting better as the night went on — and it wasn’t because of the beer!” Having seen some of their P-funk tribute shows at a local venue in the past, I knew my wedding band search had to start with Super Deluxe. Once I watched their videos, looked at their setlist, and sent my initial email to Wilton, I knew I’d found the right band. Wilton was a consummate professional and made coordination, communication, and detail planning a breeze. Via email, he had us select some favorites from the overall setlist along with some favorite artists, how we met, and some other information to build an idea of the vibe we were trying to achieve. The outcome felt like a very personalized, curated approach to soundtracking our big day. The beach songs early were a big hit for the shaggers both young and old and the Tower of Power for me (the funk fan) and the numerous Stevie Wonder & Earth, Wind, and Fire tracks for the bride (who loves 70’s horn sections) were a huge hit. Another note on Wilton’s commitment to professionalism — since the band had never played our venue, he took the time to meet with our wedding planner to discuss band placement a few weeks before the wedding when we were concerned about the reception layout. This was a lifesaver as we currently live in Italy and were planning everything from overseas! As two massive music fans, I cannot say enough about how instrumental (pun intended) Super Deluxe was to making our wedding day exactly what we’d envisioned.

You and your entire family was such a great group to entertain!! You picked the 7-piece band with Trumpet and Saxophone and both Male and Female singers; you picked out so many great tunes, including the deep funk that we love; and everyone just danced and had a great time the whole night! Your anecdote about Lowell's Uncle is a testimony to how amazing the band is, especially when we get to play Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, and so many other great bands/artists from the 70's to the present! Thank you for all your compliments again about the band's music and my attention to detail in the planning; Super Deluxe is truly a labor of love, and I thank you for giving us another chance to do what we do best! User2597911 Sent on 05/05/2016I knew I wanted a band for my wedding in Charleston, I looked at several. The lady who runs our venue had given me a list and Super Deluxe was at the top. I watched their youtube videos and looked at their website, they were exactly what we had in mind. I emailed Wilton and got a response back that day, which is just about unheard of. He was very professional, helpful and kind. We booked them within 2 days of talking. He checked in with me periodically to get a setlist together and work out the music for our first dances. When it came to the wedding day, they were there early to setup and they started sound checking, everyone was coming up to me asking if I could hear how awesome the band was sounding! They got us through our first dances without even practicing with us, it was perfect! They went full force into party mode after that, as requested, and the dance floor did not slow down until the wedding was over. I had high expectations and they surpassed them! I can't even put into words how talented and fun they are! They are a group of VERY talented musicians and they are far from a wedding band. I felt like we hit the jackpot! Everyone who attended our wedding has mentioned how amazing our band was and we have to agree! Super Deluxe made our reception and we are thinking of reasons to hire them again! I didn't want the party to end! DO YOURSELVES AND YOUR GUESTS A FAVOR AND BOOK THEM!

I met Wilton several months before the wedding to discuss song choices and band set-up, and he was able to accommodate all of our needs. They are extremely lively and entertaining, and their performance was able to get every wedding guest on the dance floor. We had so much fun and are still receiving complements on this band.
