We got married on the beach in front of Surftides and had our reception in the Melville room at surftides on March 5th. I could not have asked for anything else! The sales director Camie is absolutely amazing and is the sole reason I kept my sanity throughout the whole process. Nearly all of our guests were from out of town and Camie, as well as all of the staff at surftides went out of their way to ensure all of our guests felt comfortable and welcome. We received so many compliments from guests on how great the buffet was and everyone enjoyed the on site restaurant and bar and the excellent customer service from the manager Elliot. Camie was constantly available for every little question or help with small details, she was everything a bride to be could ask for. I could not speak highly enough of Surftides and all of their employees. They made our big day absolutely magical.

Michael, the event planner went above and beyond to make our daughter's wedding everything she wanted! The catering was fantastic, rooms were ocean front, quiet and nicely appointed. Great value! They worked with us every step of the way, great communication, Michael made sure everything was perfect! I cannot say enough great things about this venue and their staff! Highly recommend Surftides for a beautiful beach wedding!!! Courtyard was beautiful for pre-ceremony hors d'oeuvres, then just a short walk to beach for ceremony, the reception was held inside with dance floor, and sound system provided! Great!!!!

I first visited Surftides in late summer while doing a blitz of the Oregon Coast to decide a location for our wedding. After our stop at Surftides, I knew that it was the perfect location. The staff was very welcoming. Living in Washington State, the majority of the planning was done through email and the occasional phone call. Michael Henderson and his staff were absolutely fantastic. They worked extra hard to ensure that our day went off without a hitch. We had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception there and all of the guest were accommodated perfectly. My dad decided to do some last minute switchups to the reception bar, which Michael and his staff took with open arms. The food was fantastic and everyone was so friendly. We had a lot of friends that have never visited the Oregon coast and because of their experience at Surftides have decided to make it their annual family vacation staying at the hotel. Michael and his staff were readily available throughout the weekend and there was never a problem in trying to track someone down to answer questions. Many of the guests came to me after the weekend had concluded and told me that they were so impressed at the fact that the staff took the time to learn their names and recognized them throughout the weekend. If I could give a 10 star rating on this site I most definitely would!

The staff was AMAZING! Lucinda and Crystal went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect! Allowing us to have the courtyard for both pictures before and the cocktail hour made a wonderful relaxing and classy night. We did the ceremony on the beach with the ocean as a backdrop, then moved everyone to the courtyard for the cocktail hour, then to the Herman Melville room for the reception. Everyone raved about the delicious appetizers and food at the reception. The staff was so attentive to everyone needs and Lucinda let me call all the shots that I wanted and filled in the blanks when I missed something! Jordan at the front desk fielded the most confusing of tasks making sure everyone had their rooms booked, even on a summer weekend night when the hotel was all booked up! Had the BEST TIME working with Lucinda Whitacre. She made our day PERFECT!

The overall planner for the hotel was amazingly helpful! He was determined to get us exactly what we wanted. The only down fall, was that we didn't test everything before the wedding, and the sound system wasn't very good. It couldn't go past a certain volume, and was really hard to hear.
