  Susan done a wonderful job on my cake ! I gave her a inspiration picture and she literally nailed it ! It was better than what I ever could have hoped for ! Not only did it look absolutely beautiful but It was Probably hands down the best cake I have ever tasted ! She even went above and beyond to make our banana creme take home cake happen ! She also provided our catering and it too was really good ! The best chicken! They are wonderful people! You won’t be dissapointed!

  Susan is the best! I felt personally cared for throughout the entire process of working with her. We talked on the phone several times - she sought to know me and understand my taste. She was incredibly flexible and willing to bend her schedule to accommodate mine for a taste testing; it turned out that I was unable to keep the appointment, and Susan had only my descriptions over the phone and a simple sketch to work with. She created a beautiful and tasty cake that I LOVED! Plus, she's the sweetest lady and absolutely the kind of person you want in your corner on your wedding day!

  Mrs. Susan is definitely the person you want to have doing your cake!! Her cakes are always moist, delicious and beautiful!! She is always super sweet and helpful and will work with any kind of a budget to make sure the customer is happy and has the perfect cake!! She had done a fantastic job on my best friends wedding so when I started planning mine I knew she was the one I wanted to make the cakes! I cannot recommend her enough! The cakes she made for my wedding were more than I could have hoped for. And also let me just say, I recommend the chocolate peanut butter if you’re looking for the perfect grooms cake flavor!! It was the biggest hit with only crumbs left as our guests devoured it!! You can’t go wrong with any option as it will always be beautiful and delicious coming from Mrs. Susan!

  Susan is very talented and a pleasure to work with! My cake looked exactly like the photo I showed her and it was beyond delicious and tasted so fresh. She was polite, timely, and even included a going away cake for my groom and I. I have nothing negative to say about my experience with her and would definitely recommend her services!

  Susan was more flexible and accommodating than any 'vendor' we hired for our wedding celebration. We had unique specifications that we could tell Susan was not use to dealing with (a chocolate wedding cake that involved cashew butter, dried cherries and cashews). She BLEW us away with what she produced. The best part of the process was after the cake tasting she took our notes and did EXACTLY what we asked and even more!
  Seriously, our guests talked about the cake more than anything else the next day. It was moist, absolutely delicious and the perfect amount of sweetness.

  Susan was amazing! She was so easy to work with the entire time. The cake was exactly what we had asked for! Susan showed up early to set up and would not leave until everyone was happy. I couldn't be more appreciative! We will definitely be using Susan'a Sweets again!

  I contacted Susan's Sweets Bakery after looking at her reviews on Wedding Wire. My daughter in law wanted an unusual cake in that she wanted five tiers, two flavors, and pound cake! I sent Susan an email late, through Wedding Wire ...like after 11:00PM, and being a night owl like me, she emailed me back within minutes and asked if that was a good time to talk! I was SO impressed. I called her about 11:30 that evening, and she told me she could handle what my daughter in law had requested. She also ventured to say that the reason so many bakeries did not offer pound cakes for a tiered wedding cake, was because the density/weight of the cake layers was more difficult to tier (that is, to keep one layer from falling in on the one below it). I liked her immediately; she was so helpful and very personable...even at 11:30 at night! She contacted my daughter in law who was still at the University (trying to graduate and plan a wedding), spoke with her, verified exactly what she wanted, and set up a time to meet for a cake tasting. They met, and my daughter in law could not have been more pleased with the cake Susan had created for the tasting. On the day of the wedding, Susan delivered the cake to the venue at the time requested by the venue (late afternoon), set it up, waited on the florist to give her the flowers with which to decorate the cake, and everyone who came in contact with her commented on what a delightful person she is, and how pleasant it was to work with her. Our guests could not have been more complimentary of the cake. Several guests said it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted! And not only was it delicious, it was exquisitely beautiful as well. My daughter in law had requested a very pale, blush pink buttercream frosting for the cake, and the color was perfect! I could not recommend Susan's Sweets more highly; not only does she do truly professional work, but she is a delight to get to know as well.

  My daughter's wedding cake was amazing! Not only the creation but taste! You cannot convince me that there is another bakery around that compares to Susan's. It is the most flavorful, moist, melt in your mouth cake we've ever had. The pastry trays are to die for. The comments we heard at the wedding " These are the best pastries I've ever tasted" "The pastries are amazing" . They obviously were so good that I never got to try one until I ordered some for Christmas!! We go nowhere else for our occasions not only for the best bakery items but also for Susan. She is amazing to work with! I highly recommend Susan's!

  Both cakes that Susan made for our wedding looked and tasted great. There was hardly any left after it was over. Susan got there early and set up everything wonderfully and you can tell that she really takes pride in her work. We did save the top to eat on our one year and I can't wait to eat it again!   Susan 's cakes are so moist, and she has the best tasting icings. Her strawberry cake is to die for! My bridal cake was gorgeous and tasty. The grooms was her famous strawberry! Very satisfied customer.

The tasting was such a treat, because she will make as many different flavor variations as you want, and then she actually sends them all home with you! From meeting with us at 9 pm for our initial cake tasting, to using flowers from our florist to decorate the day of, to the ease of delivery and payment, I can't say enough wonderful things about Susan. As an indecisive bride, she made decisions based on conversations we had and I couldn't have been happier with our cakes. We had two different flavors in our main cake: alternating layers of almond cake with lemon icing and red velvet with cream cheese icing, and then the groom's cake was three different cakes: Italian cream, strawberry, and chocolate with peanut butter frosting. They were such a hit, we didn't even get to try one of them because it was gone. Word to the wise: at minimum, try that Italian cream at your tasting: PHENOMENAL!-and you won't get a bite if it's at your wedding. On top of being a talented baker, Susan is such a joy to work with because she is so sweet and kind. Her goal is to make your day perfect with her cakes, and she so enjoys what she does. She's the best!

  Susan's Sweets made our bride's cake and groom's cakes! The presentation of them both was absolutely gorgeous!! Besides the fact that they looked good, but they tasted even better.   Susan's Sweets made our bride's cake and groom's cakes! The presentation of them both was absolutely gorgeous!! Besides the fact that they looked good, but they tasted even better.
