    To Steph the bride that increased the guest list and event services -and then blamed us for charging additional money for your requested package. Who left us holding the bag for a $20,000 custom wedding package that we created for you and then demanded your deposit back. Insisting that there was never a contract.
    This couple and friends have smeared Suzy Q's reputation and posted the same review maliciously on every website that we advertise on!

    I have not responded up until now because I did not want to embarrass her or disrespect the event industry but, after her untruths I could NOT stay quiet any longer.

    My wife and I had an amazing experience from start to finish with Suzanne and J from SuzyQ Events.

    We'd met with a couple potential caterers for our wedding before finally finding SuzyQ. We envisioned a casual wedding atmosphere featuring passed hors d'oeuvres and small plates, but every catering manager we met with discouraged us from doing so and would steer us toward their way of doing things.

    When we finally sat down with the folks at SuzyQ, they "got it" right away. They are amazingly flexible, which they proved time and time again as we planned our wedding. We got advice, suggestions and help throughout the process, and I doubt some of the other competitors could have matched their level of "can do."

    Our guests came to us throughout the evening of our wedding with praise for the food ("This is the best wedding food I've ever had!"), the people ("Everyone on the catering staff is so friendly!") and the service ("My glass was never empty!"). A friend from Chicago (a huge foodie) even tried to convince SuzyQ to travel to cater her wedding next summer. They're that good.

    Let me say Thank you first of all for everyone in your Companies operation for all they did to make my wife and my wedding the most amazing experience either of us could have imagined! Starting from the Staff Service, Amazing Food, and Entertainment. SuzyQlive sounded so great that I had several people come up to me and ask if she was actually singing the songs or mouthing the words. LOL When I told my guests oh Yes, she was singing the songs they did not believe me (She was Utterly Fabulous)! Then when my friends tasted Chef Jay and Bill's food and saw the presentation in the room, everyone asked for me to give them www.Suzyqevents.com website and phone number. We had just such an amazing time that I cannot thank everyone involved enough. Let's just say I have a challenging family dynamic on both sides and the event went so well, I believe it made everyone get along just that much better! Please contact me if you need any references.     Suzy Q Events did such a wonderful job!!!! Suzy & Jay are so easy to work with. Our New Year's Eve
    Party was a success due to the two of them and their staff. Suzy was excellent as a DJ and singer & Jay
    produced the most delicious food. Everyone enjoyed the evening. We are definitely using them again.
    I highly recommend them. Great Job!!!

    If you are looking for a fun, enjoyable, and caring DJ than look no further than Suzy Q. She was so much more than a DJ for our event! She was a professional entertainer! While we had fun on the dance floor, she anticipated needs in the moment to make our night memorable. We loved her professionalism and her polished approach. She arrived promptly, worked with last-minute changes, and coordinated the needs of our group. Thanks Suzy for being a part of our magic! It was wonderful to have you there!

    Suzy Q Events said they handle everything. They handled everything and more for our 360 Team in South Florida. After pulling five full day events with less then 30 days notice, we are all very thankful for their team being excellent.

    Wonderful company to deal with. They went above and beyond for our company event. We never had to worry about anything. They took care of everything from start to finish. All staff was very friendly, food was amazing, and they really thought out of the box with unique ideas for our company.

    Suzy Q was great! I had several guests tell me that the next time they know someone who needs a DJ, Suzy Q is who they would recommend...as would I! She also provided the photo booth at our reception, and it was a HUGE hit!

    We had a great party with Suzy Q. Our guests loved DJ Tony and the dinner portion. Room was decorated really nice and night ran very smooth!

    Unorganized, all the staff did not show up, staff tried to leave before the scheduled end time they were paid to. Trash bags & bathroom supplies for the wedding mysteriously ended up in their possession. Alcohol went missing

    We are sorry you were not %100 happy on your special day- In reference to your allegations-Our staff was all present as well as stayed additional time assisting in cleaning up- and your guests were actually coming behind the bar and taking bottles for themselves at the end of the event-Unfortunately that is what happens when you provide your own alcohol- the guests think it is a free for all- as far as the bathroom products and trash bags our staff was in the restroom after hours and they happened to be standing by the bathroom products admiring what a great job someone did with the basket- that is all- Again, thank you for allowing us to take part in your special day and we hope that your future is bright with your new Mr- Team Suzy Q Management

    Do NOT work with this woman. Absolutely the most unprofessional person to even work FOR. Ladies, there are many other event rental places in the Lynchburg and surrounding areas that don't rob you or treat you disrespectfully. I will never work with this woman again.

    If I could give Suzie Q zero stars I would. She is a crook, a con artist and a thief. Do not under any circumstance give a penny to this woman.

    WORST decision I EVER made.. It was so bad I had to threaten to take this woman to court BEFORE my wedding date. After I booked Suzy to do my wedding decor, Dj and photos..she refused to give me information on my photographer. She told me that she was only required to give me his first name. When I met with Suzy to see a mockup of my wedding tables I wanted to fired her on the spot.. The tables looked AWFUL.. Looked like something a child put together. When I told her I wasn't pleased and wanted to hire a professional florist instead, she refused to take the decor package off my bill. Suzy waited till the last minute to do everything for me. i found out 30 days before my wedding that she didn't have a DJ or photographer booked for me.. I'm assuming that's the reason why she refused to provide me with information... After being comforted by my wedding planner, Suzy told me who my photographer was 3 days before my wedding. This woman blocked me from contacting her after I complained about her not giving me information about my wedding.. She blocked me and bad talked me to my own wedding planner... Two weeks before my wedding (October 11th, 2015) my wedding planner called Suzy to confirm everything....we found out that Suzy had the wrong date written down in her calender for my wedding. Talk about being pissed. I found out Suzy posted my wedding tables decor on her Facebook page.. instead of giving credit to the woman that did the work she posted it on her page without saying a word.. This woman is extremely unprofessional and rude... Only cared about my money...How dare you take my money and block me from contacting you over a complaint.. I wish I was able to share pics of the terrible looking tables she wanted to provide me for my wedding... anywho, to make a long honest review short, I would NEVER in my life hire this woman again.. Even if she offered her terrible service for free I would turn it down in a heartbeat...

    In February 2015 we met with Suzanne and Jay at their warehouse in Deerfield Beach to discuss the services they offer. They agreed on our budget of just under $18,000. Included in that price, was décor, florals, tables, chivari chairs, food & beverages, DJ, service for roughly 120 guests and the venue. We paid a deposit of $2,700.
    We had a second meeting with Suzanne at her warehouse again in March 2015, where we went over the décor, tables, chivari chairs, and adding 30 additional guests. That same evening we provided her with another $1,000 payment. The next morning I received an updated invoice increasing the total cost to just under $28,000! When I called questioning the increase in price, they said the chivari chairs were now $7.50 per chair (they were included originally), rates increased for the staff, etc. They tried to bring the price down to just over $20,000. Overall, we just felt uncomfortable using the services with they way they changed pricing.
    We met with them for a third time thinking we could maybe just use them for the florals and DJ. Suzanne seemed a bit upset and said she didn’t feel comfortable with doing that.
    We called, emailed, text, and even sent a certified letter for a reimbursement of our money minus 10% for their time. Not once did we ever get a response. Not to mention, we never signed a contract with Suzy Q Events. Since we never heard from them, we decided to take them to small claims court. They never showed for court and therefore a judgement was issued in our favor for reimbursement of $3370 plus court costs. We have contacted them again trying to get our money back and have gotten no response.
    Overall, I recommend never using this company. They agree to your budget and once they receive your initial payment, they increase their prices. They use a bait and switch method. VERY DISHONEST COMPANY!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
