Erica is AMAZING!!! From our very first consultation call with her, my fiancé and I knew she was the best choice for our engagement shoot and wedding. We laughed and chatted and felt comfortable right off the bat. I have been told that you end up being around your wedding photographer more than almost anyone else on your wedding day - so it's super important you feel comfortable around them, so I was thrilled to feel like I have known her for years just over a Zoom call!
Then, she managed to fit us in her schedule last minute, and drive over 3 hours to us in the Greater Boston area to shoot at the Arnold Arboretum! Talk about going above and beyond!!!! She frolicked around the park in the cold with us, LITERALLY climbing in and out of bushes and trees to get these gorgeous shots. You couldn't tell by the photos... but I was super duper nervous going into the shoot. I’m not a huge fan of my picture being taken… and the thought a professional camera made me feel extremely anxious. But Erica was so kind, and calm, and made me laugh and feel comfortable literally immediately!!! My fiancé and I are sooooo awkward too, but she expertly posed us in many different ways that make us look like pros LOL! A day that I had so much anxiety for… ended up being such a blast for both of us, truly. JUST THE SHOOT IN ITSELF will be a wonderful memory we will cherish forever.
And then she got us the photos in record time, I couldn't believe it! So fast!!! And to no surprise, they were all incredible. It's so hard to choose a favorite, I have like 10 haha. I am beyond excited to have her shoot our wedding in the future. Five stars for EVERYTHING! Seriously. She is so incredibly talented!!!!Sweet Alice Photography's reply:

Capturing Joy and Memories at Our November 16th, 2023 Wedding
Having Erica and Amanda at our wedding on November 16th, 2023 was an absolute treat. Erica was also super supportive and kind leading up to the wedding while helping with our questions and really just being our cheerleader. They both brought such incredible and positive energy and were just a joy to be around and talk to. They had their own ideas for pictures that we were fans of but also asked us what we wanted and listened to any suggestions or input we had. They constantly worked with us to make sure they were accompishing what we were looking for. They were kind and patient with our bridal party and families and also kept us on track with the timeline to make sure we got all the shots we wanted when we wanted them. We've seen the edited sneak peek pictures (which they got to us SUPER quickly after the wedding) so far and they're all absolutely incredible. We love the way they focus on the people but also include so much of the environment in their pictures. We picked a beautiful venue and so we were looking forward to that aspect of their photography after seeing some of their work and we were far from disappointed. During the day they made sure to incorporate as much of the scenery as possible while taking pictures as we had expressed that was very important to us. More than being a wedding vendor, they truly felt like our friends and we sincerely hope to have the opportunity to work with them again in the future.Sweet Alice Photography's reply:

Hiring Erica as your wedding photographer is not simply hiring someone to take photos at your wedding. Instead, when you welcome Erica into your wedding journey, it feels like befriending an incredibly kind and thoughtful soul who will gently, lovingly and enthusiastically usher you through one of the most special chapters of your life. At the end of it all, you are not only left with the most beautiful photos of you, your person and your loved ones that you could ever possibly imagine, but also, you are left with a life-long friend. We don’t need to tell you how gorgeous her work is…the beauty of her work speaks for itself in every photo you’ll see; Erica’s gift of capturing a love story beautifully from engagement session to wedding day is unquestionably extremely impressive. But what’s even more impressive is the way she serves her clients. We’ve seen others use this phrase when describing her, and we will use it here too because it is so true: she took such good care of us. We fell in love with her from the very start in our first conversation and that was solidified at our engagement session. She made us laugh, feel so at ease in front of the camera with her positive and encouraging energy, and she genuinely took the time to get to know us as we talked and walked together during that hour. When we left our engagement session, we were on such a high and knew we would be in the very best hands with her on our wedding day. In the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, Erica checked in several times, shared in our excitement and made sure every detail was in-place so that the day could run smoothly and how we wanted it to run. On our wedding day, we were overwhelmed with so many different emotions and Erica’s presence struck the perfect balance of being calming, reassuring, cheerful and celebratory. We truly believe that her showing up in that way and with that energy was what set the tone and allowed all of our wedding party and family members to feel just as at-ease, excited, joyous and present. Our people raved about her; how she made them laugh and feel comfortable posing for portraits and how incredibly friendly, warm and professional she was. As she guided us through our couple portraits in our first moments of marriage, she allowed us to really soak in the pure joy of that time, making it feel so magical, sacred and, again, easy. We simply can’t imagine our wedding day with anyone but Erica and her team there with us. We could honestly go on and on about how genuinely wonderful she is, but we’ll end by saying that she is a gift and a light and was, without a doubt, the absolute best decision we made when planning our wedding. We were sad to hug her goodbye at the end of the night, knowing our time together in this chapter was coming to a close. We had such an incredible day filled with so much love and happiness! Erica, Erika and the whole Sweet Alice Photography team were truly amazing to work with, and made our day so special. We are so in love with the beautiful artwork they created in their photography of our wedding. Their photos captured all the happiness and joy of our special day!
From the beginning to the end of our journey with wedding planning, Erica was always there for us (even sometimes to just lend a supportive and listening ear in times of stress). She was by far our favorite vendor that we had the pleasure of getting to know. She is so kind and patient, and puts the couple first. She always made sure to check in with us, and always ran decisions by us, and made every effort to accommodate what our vision was for our special day!
The Sweet Alice team is truly a gem in the wedding industry. They are so inclusive of any and all couples celebrating their love. We felt such a strong human connection with this team. We would X100000000 times recommend them to prospective couples!!
And the fact that they love animals is an extra bonus! :)

From our first meeting with Erica we knew we had to work with her. She was kind, patient, and prepared. She answered all our questions and put us at ease, not only about our photos but about our wedding as a whole. We were drawn to her photos because they featured natural, bright colors and felt organic. Leading up to the wedding she sent us thoughtful gifts and notes, truly making us feel included in her world. We did an engagement session with her about 8 months before the wedding which I would highly recommend. It helped us feel at ease in front of the camera and allowed us to try out different poses we would do on our wedding day. Erica was a cheerleader and went out of her way so we could get some family photos with our dog. We had a meeting about a month before the wedding where she was very understanding regarding changing family dynamics. The day of the wedding Erica and Amanda arrived early and we walked through different locations where we wanted photos. It felt like a very collaborative experience. She was very professional and supportive of all the nerves and anxiety surrounding our wedding day. She worked really well with our other vendors which was very important to us. The guests raved about how great the photographers were and loved the candids and posed photos they took of them. After the wedding Erica sent us sneak peaks the next day and delivered our final gallery weeks ahead of schedule. We love all our photos and have struggled to pick favorites. Working with Sweet Alice Photography was a phenomenal experience that we would recommend to anyone. We hope to work with her in the future as we celebrate more milestones together!

It's very clear that Erica does amazing work but she is also an amazing person to work with! She was recommended to us by our venue and was the first vendor that we officially hired. From our first zoom meeting, to our engagement shoot and then to our wedding day, Erica had such a calming presence that was very needed during the stressful wedding planning process. We had such confidence in her and her work, she was the last person that we needed to worry about on our wedding day. We had so much fun going out onto the venue's grounds and taking our couples photos. Erica made us feel so good about ourselves that we felt like we could go book a modeling job afterwards. Our photos were amazing and she worked so hard to make sure we had sneak peeks ready by the morning after our wedding. We had the most amazing wedding day and Erica was able to capture all of that in her photos. This review is long overdue but it's difficult to find the words to describe just how absolutely AMAZING Erica and the Sweet Alice team are!! It was a bit serendipitous that we found Erica and we have thanked the universe for it many times. Our only regret is not meeting her sooner!! From the first meeting we felt a sense of relief and comfort as she was not only a great guide about the process, but took the time to get to know my husband and I so we felt like friends coming together for a special project! Erica is the most supportive while being responsive, detailed and, of course, taking INCREDIBLE shots. I mean we were stunned by the sneak peeks!! Lily, her second shooter, was also wonderful and it was clear the two of them had a great, cohesive vision for the day which made everything seamless. Because of them, the day felt so fun and full of laughter. Erica was so encouraging and supportive during photos that one of my bridesmaids jokingly asked her 'Are you a therapist? Because I have never felt so good about myself!' Our day would not have ever been the same without Erica and Lily. When we look at these drop-dead gorgeous photos, we will remember how amazing the day was but we also always remember the two of them right there beside us as our hilarious, fun cheerleaders (I'm getting teary just thinking about it). Erica and her Sweet Alice Team are incredible. After our initial consultation, we just knew we needed Erica as our photographer. As we went back and forth with venues and dates, we kept emailing her immediately before booking anything as we just felt she would be the glue to our day. And she did not disappoint! Prior to the big day, Erica was so organized, responsive and communicative. She guided us through the process and made every decision so easy. Erica also made the entire day so seamless. She brings this amazing energy to the day. She is the ultimate hype person making not only us as the couple feel special but every person in the bridal party and beyond feel the same way. She nailed every shot we wanted. And she also worked with us to make sure we didn't waste any time as she just wanted us to enjoy every minute we could to be with our guests. Booking Erica was by far one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. She is extremely easy to work with, is remarkably professional, and, importantly, the pictures are spectacular. From the first chat with her to receiving the finished pictures, each interaction was a joy.
Erica is fully present, thoughtful, and responsive. We never felt like we were being told to just do the same poses that she does with every couple - it all felt really authentic to us as a couple. She made us and our families feel comfortable in front of the camera with such sweetness and encouragement.
Erica and her co-photographer on the day of were somehow everywhere and nowhere. They knew how to seamlessly capture every moment while somehow not being in the way of any moment. This is evident in the pictures we received. Not only do we have stunning pictures of us as a couple in settings and poses we never would have thought of on our own, we have countless candid shots of all our guests enjoying the event.

How I found Sweet Alice Photography and Erica was a true to a 6 degrees of separation story. My chiropractor recommended her husbands cousin who worked in the area where I was getting married. When I reached out to her she wasn’t available that day but recommended two other photographers who she already checked in with and were available that date. One of those recommendations was Erica and Sweet Alice Photography. I think Sweet Alice’s work speaks for itself so let me tell you a bit about the woman behind the lens who makes all those stunning photos possible.
From the minute I looked at Erica’s website I was hooked. I loved the way she put herself out there and I felt like I already knew Erica without ever speaking to her. We scheduled a zoom to connect and the second we ended the call I turned to my fiancé and said we need to book ASAP.
I went into wedding planning with little to no idea what I was doing. The one thing I was adamant about was that I wanted to surround myself with the right people/energy on this special day. Your photographer is not only going to be capturing all those special moments but they are going to be spending the whole day with you. We had the opportunity to meet Erica in person for an engagement shoot a couple of months before our wedding. Meeting Erica in person was like being reunited with a long lost friend. Her smiles are infectious and her personality is radiant. After the engagement shoot I knew we made the right choice in booking with Sweet Alice.
My most favorite thing about Erica and what I think is one of her greatest strengths is how intuitive she is. She can tell if you feel awkward and don’t know what to do with your hands and immediately redirect you without you even realizing what she’s doing. She knows when you just need a minute to breathe/connect with your partner before moving on. She makes you laugh so your best selves can shine through. She is your biggest cheerleader and a one person hype team. When it came to our wedding day Erica brought all that and more. She even sent us sneak peek photos the morning after our wedding. Erica is truly a gem of a human being and I suggest not hesitating on booking Sweet Alice Photography.
She makes the entire process super easy with each client having access to their own private client portal where you can make payments, fill out shot lists and more. She offers location and outfit support for engagement shoots and will check in with you every step of the way before your big day to make sure all your needs are taken care of. Unbelievable
There aren’t enough words to describe the experience and person that Erica is. Erica’s not only insanely talented but the love, care, passion and talent is unparalleled. Erica makes the process easy with her professionalism, organization and communication. Our engagement shoot was like laughing and hanging with a friend. Day of she brings energy and UMBRELLAS! The SWEETEST photographer with a little bit of Magic 10/10
Where do I even begin?! I don't think there are even words to express how wonderful and special Erica is as a person and at her craft and how lucky we are to have been given the chance to know her! Photography and photographs have always held a special place in my heart and this was without a doubt going to be one of the most important aspects of our wedding day. I knew that I wanted Erica to be our wedding photographer before we were even engaged, and when the day came and the planning commenced she was the VERY first person I reached out to because there was no way I was going to miss the opportunity to get to work with her! Our very first zoom call in 2019 solidified for me just how truly great Erica is and for my husband too. We picked our original 2020 wedding date based on Erica's availability and when we had to postpone our wedding because of the pandemic, we picked our new date based on her availability because there was no way either one of us wanted to not have Erica with us on our wedding day. Have I mentioned how gracious she is?! Not only was she overly understanding of our postponement, she made us feel so okay and at peace with our choice and when our original wedding day was upon us she offered her services to us in case we wanted to elope, my goodness she is just the SWEETEST.
While our engagement pictures were not the first time in front of a photographer's camera, it is still a little nerve wracking because it's a new person behind the camera! Well, from the moment we said hello so much of that nervousness fell away and it was like catching up with an old friend talking, laughing, getting to know each other and made for the most beautiful photographs because we were so comfortable! Erica radiates happiness, cheer and love!
Erica was so great at checking in, making sure everything was going okay, to see if we needed help or recommendations with anything, always making herself available. She always answered any question or crazy thought so quickly and when I asked her for some vendor recommendations she was more than happy to pass some along! Any time we had a phone call, zoom meeting or email check in, just talking to Erica gave myself and my husband such calmness and reassurance that everything was going fine and that the wedding day would be fantastic and go smoothly! Erica listened to everything we spoke about from day one, most importantly she understood how important family is to both my husband and I, so much so that she allotted us an entire hour of family photos on our wedding day to ensure we got all the family photos that were important to us and our hearts are beyond grateful for this. We felt such a calmness on our wedding day knowing that Erica was with us and would ensure that all the important moments would happen and be captured. Erica had sneak peak photos to us the morning after the wedding and we were blown away at how beautiful they were and we are SO excited to see the entire gallery when it's ready, we know it is going to be incredible.
Not only do my husband and I love Erica but so do our families! They just think she is the sweetest and so amazingly talented!
RUN do not walk and book Erica and Sweet Alice Photography for your wedding day, you will not regret it. Not only will you have a fantastic photographer and beautiful photographs, you will have a friend. We are so sad our wedding journey with you has come to an end but are hopeful our paths will cross again in the future!

It is difficult to describe how AWESOME Erica is! Going into the arduous task of planning a wedding, I knew that the photos were one of the key areas I needed to get right. My husband and I entrusted Sweet Alice Photography and from the very beginning knew that we had made the absolute best choice. Erica is organized, easy to work with, and has INCREDIBLE energy. She gets the absolute BEST out of her subjects, putting everyone at ease and taking amazing photos that truly capture the spirit of the event. I could not have asked for better photos and am having a difficult time selecting just a few for the albums! 2020 was a difficult year, but Erica’s flexibility, compassion and periodic check-ins throughout went above and beyond - even offering up her backyard for an elopement ceremony on our original wedding date. Erica is the best!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Erica. It took me a while to write this review because I really can't put into words how wonderful Erica is. From the moment I met her I knew I had to have her photograph my wedding! Not only is she super talented but she is one of the kindest souls I ever met. From the engagement photo shoot to our wedding day everything with Erica ran so smoothly and she was such a pleasure to work with. When I told her I was still not set on a wedding venue she referred me to my venue and we instantly fell in love with it! She was there to help me with any wedding questions even those that were not photography related. The day of our wedding Erica made sure to get all of the photos I had on my list and her photos turned out even more beautiful than I could have envisioned. She even had sneak peeks for me the day after my wedding! She has such an eye for detail and you can see the passion she has for her photography through her work. The Perfect Choice!!
Hiring Erica as our photographer is one of the best decisions we have ever made. She is an amazing person and an even better photographer. Our wedding pictures came out better than we could of imagined. She made working with her feel effortless. When we were nervous to take pictures for our engagement shoot she made us feel relaxed and comfortable.
We had to move our wedding due to the pandemic and Erica was nothing but flexible and supportive. Her knowledge of the wedding industry is invaluable and came in handy as we navigated the uncertainty around our wedding.

Where do I start, ERICA is AMAZING. From my first facetime call with her, I knew I HAD to have Erica a part of our wedding day one way or another. After my call my husband was like wow you sound like you are friends already – and it was true! Instant connection ! We wanted our wedding full of good vibes, great people and positivity and we knew Erica would make it even more special. Erica is a professional at what she does, but not only that, she is one of the most amazing, kind, caring, loving, thoughtful people I have ever met. She is one of those people that has so much passion in everything she does and spreads positivity and love wherever she goes. Erica was so responsive, organized and fun to work with throughout the whole process, and I am so thankful we had her. She felt like a close friend that I have known forever. Erica is one special person and really excels in her craft.
When my husband and I first met Erica at our engagement shoot, we were like wow this girl is so cool! She made taking picture so easy (which can be awkward) and the pictures were FLAWLESS. She really captured who we are as a couple. After the engagement shoot, we couldn’t be more excited for having her for our wedding day. Erica also came to our walk-through meeting at our venue Crested Hen Farms and she really helped us envision the day and gave us the visuals of where the best photos would be and helped pan out our timeline. AND she brought my whole family Dunkin’ Donuts, how cool and thoughtful is she?!? Oh yea and right before the wedding she sent us a Starbucks gift card to enjoy a small coffee break together, so amazing. It’s the little things in life that matter the most, and Erica captures that essence to a tee.
On our wedding day Erica and Melinda, one of her Sweet Alice associates, were so fun and caring to work with. She found the most amazing locations to take pictures at our venue and I may be biased, but I think we had the BEST wedding photos ever! Erica really caterers to YOU and what YOU want, and your wedding day should be all about YOU. Erica prepared ahead of time all the details and shots I wanted prior to our day which made everything run so smoothly. She made everyone in our family so comfortable with taking pictures and captured such special moments that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Our family and friends continued to compliment how nice Erica and Melinda were and after seeing the pictures everyone was in awe how amazing everything came out. I couldn’t be more thankful and blessed for my wedding day and having Erica a part of that made it better. Do not question booking Erica – you will be thankful you did!!! There are not enough good things you can say to accurately describe how great of a service that Erica and her team at Sweet Alice provide. Early on after talking with Erica, we could see how attentive and personable she was, and how much she truly cared about making our day the most special it could possibly be. After a facetime call and a bunch of emails back and forth, we took the plunge, and could not be happier that we chose Erica.
We started with the engagement photo shoot that Erica offers as part of her package, which gave us a great opportunity to meet her and get comfortable in front of the camera with her. We would highly recommend taking advantage of this; Erica made us feel so comfortable and genuinely spent time during our time together getting to know all about us. Erica was very timely in getting those photos to us, and we had a great time viewing them and reliving the fun day we had with her.
We continued along over the next couple months trading emails and calls and texts with Erica to make sure everything was set for the big day. Her client portal was incredibly organized and easy to use, and she did a great job of checking in to coordinate anything and just mention that she was extremely excited to work with us at our wedding.
Erica showed up nice and early at our wedding to scope out the area and figure out where all the best shots could be taken, including the first look. She and Maria, one of her Sweet Alice Associates, were absolutely fantastic to work with on our wedding day. She again made us very comfortable during our pictures, and picked some amazing locations around the venue and town to shoot at. Erica even sent us a sneak peak of some pictures in the early hours of the morning!
Working with Erica over the past several months has been an incredible experience. She has an infectious personality and is insanely likable. Throughout this process, we have found not only the best photographer you could ask to take part in your special day, but a genuine friend to keep in touch with. What can we say about Erica and her team that others haven’t said already? When we saw her portfolio it stood out tremendously from others, whether it’s the natural colors, lighting, or composition, we both knew she was one of the most skilled photographers we’d seen, and we knew we would love her to be our photographer. When we then went to her website and read a little bit more about her and her story, we both became wide eyed and knew this was definitely our photographer. Over the next few weeks/months, as we made facetime dates together, set up our engagement shoot, and finally met in person, we both knew not only would Erica be our photographer, she had become our friend as well.
Erica has a sweet disposition about her and is one of the nicest human beings you’ll ever get to talk to. She puts you at ease, makes the entire experience fun and very stress free – this is critical on one of the most stressful days of your life! She is excellent with communication and her customer portal has all kinds of information that you didn’t even know you needed, and which will guide you throughout the whole process. She is quick to get you sneak peaks right away, which is fantastic since we all want to share those shots with friends and family right away. And once she sends you the final product, you will be blown away by the natural feel to each photo and how she captured each moment perfectly.
Planning your wedding is already difficult enough - things go wrong, vendors don’t get back to you fast enough or are vague with their information – but working with Erica is a breath of fresh air! She stays in constant communication with you, is always available to answer questions or brainstorm ideas, and smooths the process over with ease. Plus, her positive nature is infectious and will rub off on you, especially on your wedding day. I’ve seen stressed out moms, bridesmaids, and a bride go from looking a bit overwhelmed to just beaming and glowing once she shows up and starts snapping away.
Erica lives up to her company’s namesake “Sweet Alice” because that’s what she is. The sweetest photographer (and person!) you’ll ever have the pleasure of working with.
